This study sought to analyze the trends in research on Korean fathers with young children. In this study, journal articles related to child and family studies, early childhood education and childcare published between 1980 and 2006 were analyzed for research frequency, content, and methodology. The study results were as follows. First, 56 research articles on Korean fathers with young children were published during this period of time. Second, the research was primarily focused on fathering attitudes and the relationships between the characteristics of the father and the development of the child. Third, the majority of the studies used methods categorized as quantitative and non-experimental: the subjects included more than 100 fathers with 3-5-year-old children. Research instruments validated in foreign countries (52.4%), surveys (75.4%), and quantitative data analysis methods (98.2%) were primarily used in these research studies. Finally, the results of this study suggest that further studies concerning Korean fathers with young children need to be conducted according to current research trends, content, and methodology.

The fashion industry is facing numerous sustainability-related challenges due to growing consciousness about the egregious extent of global environmental problems. This study examines research trends on sustainable fashion based on five macro trends related to sustainable innovation in the fashion industry. Using the content analysis and network analysis methods, 115 research papers published in domestic and international journals from 2017 to 2021 were collected and analyzed. The study conclusions are as follows. First, majority of domestic papers(55.41%) focused on circular economy, whereas other topics such as consumer awareness(1.35%) and corporate social responsibility(2.70%), are yet to be thoroughly examined; majority of international papers(53.65%) focused on sharing economy and collaborative consumption, whereas other topics such as technological innovation(2.44%), are yet to be thoroughly examined. Second, domestic papers have found that many brands(68.57%) are applying the concept of circular economy, whereas international papers have found that many brands(51.56%) are applying the concept of sharing economy and collaborative consumption. The study results provide useful data for corporate management in the fashion industry.

This study seeks to investigate K-fashion's external image by examining the trends in global media reporting. It applies Dynamic Topic Modeling (DTM), which captures the evolution of topics in a sequentially organized corpus of documents, and consists of text preprocessing, the determination of the number of topics, and a timeseries analysis of the probability distribution of words within topics. The data set comprised 551 online media articles on 'Korean fashion' or 'K-fashion' published on Google News between 2010 and 2021. The analysis identifies seven topics: 'brand look and style,' 'lifestyle,' 'traditional style,' 'Seoul Fashion Week (SFW) event,' 'model size,' 'K-pop,' and 'fashion market,' as well as annual topic proportion trends. It also explores annual word changes within the topic and indicates increasing and decreasing word patterns. In most topics, the probability distribution of the word 'brand' is confirmed to be on the increase, while 'digital,' 'platform,' and 'virtual' have been newly created in the 'SFW event' topic. Moreover, this study confirms the transition of each K-fashion topic over the past 12 years, along with various factors related to Hallyu content, traditional culture, government support, and digital technology innovation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze majors trends and issues of e-Learning curriculum for human resource development in the corporate context. The e-Learning curriculum was chosen as the subject of research consists of 2,710 lectures that were given from 2007 to July 2009 for the recent three years by providing at Ministry of Labor and Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training. In order to investigate trends and issues, it was employed theme analysis which is one of the types of document analysis that approach a qualitative research methodology. As a result of this research, 7 major trends and issues in e-Learning curriculum for HRD in the field of corporate education were drawn; ① Strengthening expertise through learning of job related professional knowledge, ② Cultivation of common & essential knowledge for a job to increase work performance efficiency ③ Organizational management strategy for improving performance, ④ Organizational management and operational strategy for actively responding to environmental changes, ⑤ Leadership as a strategy for cultivating core personnel and field-centered practical leadership. ⑥ Creating a happy workplace through the work-life balance, ⑦ Strengthening global communication skill. Based on these analysis, practicals and theoretical implications of e-Learning professionals and HR researchers for HRD were suggested.

This paper presents the mega trends of technology and competitiveness analysis results based on patent analysis for establishing effective research and development (R&D) strategy on UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) in the aerial ICT industry. In order to analyze mega trends of UAV technologies, patent analysis is conducted focusing on published/registered patents of Korea, the U.S., Japan, and Europe. We divided the target technologies into 3 main category levels based on the converging technology of UAV and ICT. The 3,433 patents are collected. Patent indicators such as patent activity (PA), cites per patent (CPP), and major market expansion (MME) are extracted for grasping the technology competitiveness and Korea's competitiveness per sub category levels of UAV. We suggest the R&D strategy of each technology areas based on patent analysis results. We analyzed Korea's technology levels, advanced companies' R&D trends, and patent trends through patent information and expected that this paper would be utilized for establishment of R&D strategy of UAV in the future.

The purpose of this study is to investigate trends of characteristics and changes in the field of marine/naval/underwater military science and technology in Korea. This study analyzed the keywords that appeared in marine/naval/underwater section of the "Journal of the Korean Military Science and Technology" during the period, 1998~2012. One hundred and seven articles were analyzed by keywords in English. Four hundred and fifty four keywords in English were analyzed by appearance frequency. Finally those results of source literatures and keywords were compared with each other and a better direction for the future of the field with further studies was suggested.

Korean society is changing into aged society with the speed which has never happened by other countries before. This has been the consequence of low birthrate and Increase in life expectancy. However, such social problem result in many studies on elderly environment. The purpose of this study is to systematically analyze empirical studies on elderly environment in Korea, find out research streaming and understand social backgrounds. For this study, content analysis was conducted. Articles of 4 registered academic institute published from 1986 to 2005 were units of analysis. Using keyword through library database systems, the articles were systematically selected. As results, trends of research according to 4 periods were identified. Among them as major trends, expansion of the quantity, expansion to Intoner design, more facilities for dependent elderly appeared. This result showed implications on interior design education and research for aging friendly design.

This analysis of trends in research on children's temperament published in Korean journals during the 25years dating from 1980 consisted of articles from 10 reliable journals related to child studies and analyzed for research frequency, contents, and methodology. Results showed that 51 research articles on children's temperament were published during this period, most of them in child studies and early childhood education/educare journals. The main content of research was the role of temperament in development. Most of the studies used methods categorized as quantitative and non-experimental; subjects were more than 100 children younger than school age with their mothers as adult subjects. Instruments validated in Korea and based on the individual approach and quantitative data analysis methods were used frequently.

This paper presents a current perspective on advanced fusion research trends in the construction industry as reflected in the proceedings of International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction (ISARC) which has focused on advanced fusion technology in last decades. The paper reports the results of a 7-year analysis of papers between 2000 and 2006. The analysis focused on such data as research topics of the proceedings. The paper summarizes the data extracted from the paper and uses it to analyze advanced fusion research trends. The research result shows that the top research topics in advanced fusion research areas are construction robots and automation and intelligent construction management. The research also found that research related to advanced fusion technology is increasing throughout the world and topics are changing as current needs change.

For the purpose of this analysis of trends in research on creativity of preschool children, 98 volumes with articles on the creativity of preschool children were selected from 6 reliable Korean academic journals. Analysis was for year, content, research methods, research design, and subjects. Results showed that (1) the changes by year were that the number of qualitative researches increased from 4 articles in 1998 to 24 articles in 2006. (2) The greatest amount of research content concerned educational methods for the generation of creativity. (3) Most research methods were empirical studies. (4) The most used measurement scale was the Korean Comprehensive Creativity Test for Young Children (Jeon, 2000). (5) Most data analyses were by t-test.
