  • In manufacturing company, safety is a important issue because it can cause many cost and problems of company. So reduce safety accident can increase manufacturing company's productivity. Safety accident has close relationship with employee's behavior, which is 'safety behavior'. In this study, researcher try to find out role of leader-member exchange and employee's job commitment effect on safety behavior in manufacturing company. A total of 279 responses were collected from manufacturing company's employees. The result of this empirical study show us that leader-member exchange has positive effect on employee's job commitment and safety behaviot. And job commitment has positive effect on safety behavior. Base on this empirical result, researcher provide critics and manageric implication for manufacturing companies.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the different effects of ectomycorrhizal fungal (ECMF) species on the growth of seedlings of Pinus densiflora, and the effects of ECMF diversity on plant productivity. A total of five species of ECMF were isolated from root tips of pine seedlings collected from Mt. Songni and used as inocula. Pots containing pine seedlings were inoculated with either a single ECMF species or a mixture of five ECMF species. All of the seedlings formed ECM on their roots except for the control plants. The pine seedlings' growth responses varied by the different ECMF species. Also, pine seedlings inoculated with a mixture of five ECMF species showed the highest growth response. The results of the study suggest that the colonization of diverse species of ECMF will increase plant productivity, and the selection of suitable ECMF species could be an important factor for plant growth.

  • Objectives: To provide guidance for agency planning by identifying barriers faced by Korean pharmaceutical companies in global regulatory affairs. Methods: A questionnaire survey on global regulatory affairs was administered by email to personnel at Korean pharmaceutical companies. From a total of 60, 28 responses were collected. Respondents' companies were classified as small-sized or large-sized, based on whether their annual sales amounted to KRW 100 billion. Results: Small-sized companies were experiencing greater difficulties in receiving drug approvals from advanced countries, particularly during the Investigational New Drug (IND) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) processes. Conclusions: Support measures to specifically help small-sized companies enter more advanced markets and further improved global regulatory guidelines that can meet large-sized companies' expectations are needed. Moreover, domestic and global regulatory standards should be harmonized to benefit both groups.

  • The purpose of this study was to segment consumers based on sales promotion orientation and examine the differences between the consumer segments on shopping behaviors and promotion usage behaviors. A total of 462 responses collected from a questionnaire survey to subjects aged over 20s were analyzed. Cluster analysis on sales promotion orientation identified four groups including rational group(21%), active group(28%), insensitive group(22.1%), and interest group(28.9%) of sales promotion. ANOVA revealed significant differences among the four groups on shopping behaviors(information seeking, store visit, and clothing purchase) and promotion usage behaviors(the usage level of sales promotion, impulse buying, brand switching, and store switching). The active and interest groups were more actively seeking information than the other two groups were. The active group was most affected by sales promotion showing the highest impulse buying and brand and store switching behaviors, and the interest group was most active on store visit and clothing purchase. The insensitive group was the least engaged in all the behaviors.

  • This study examines various factors which influence the degree of Participation In B to B e-Marketplace. Based on literature review, six factors such as Information provision, IT infrastructure, trust, aggregation, new customer creation, and matching are identified. To collect the empirical data, survey methodology has been utilized. A total of 32 companies have returned completed responses. The results of analysis show high interdependencies between six factors and the degree of participation in e-Marketplace. In particular, aggregation is found to be the most influential factor. Additional analysis reveals that firms participating highly in e-Marketplace recognize aggregation and new customer creation the most important factors while less participating firms see IT infrastructure more important.

  • This paper describes the theoretical analysis of a diffraction pattern analyzer for the characterization of microscale object fields and a method for obtaining size and size distribution from the measured diffraction pattern of the object fields. For the experimental verification, a typical optical Fourier transform system was set up and calibrated with 2 5$\mu \textrm m$ and 50$\mu \textrm m$ pinholes. The system responses to distilled water droplets, alcohol, glycerin and silicon oil were imaged with vidicon, and the image was processed to determine the size distribution of each liquid particle field. The energy distribution function which is defined as the total intensity of a circular ring in the diffraction pattern was used to determine the dominant particle size of each liquid particle field.

  • This paper presents the investigation on the demand of domestic companies for reliability. For persons undertaking reliability tasks of 224 companies, the questionnaire study is made to investigate the importance and necessity of reliability, needs and priorities of reliability manuals, and the appropriate scheme to propagate them by internet and telephone. By analyzing the responses according to fields of industry, types of manufacturing, numbers of employees, and total sales, we obtained the useful informations for developing and propagating reliability manuals.

  • In this paper, we proposed the optimal process conditions on the electro-gilding process. The responses are plating thickness and Sn proportion. The factors are temperature, current density, and addition. We minimized the total number of experiments based on the principle of dividing into small part. We grouped the factors using the plating process information which we already knew. We did Hull Cell test to find relationship between plating solution and electric effects, and applied ANOVA and RSM to estimate the optimal process conditions.

  • Four pathogenic fungal isolates belonging to different genera including Alternaria, Fusarium and Curvularia were isolated from selected diseased weeds growing in the fields in Dakahalia district. The inoculum of these pathogenic fungi specific to weeds were cultured, standardized and formulated as alginate pellets containing mycelium plus culture filtrate. These mycoherbicides were evaluated for disease severity(DS). Maximum DS was obtained with the alginate pellets of mycelium filtrate Fusarium solani. Physiological changes of the treated weed were determined 5 aiid 10 days after treatments. As compared to the healthy weeds, all mycoherbicide formulations significantly decreased the amount of photosynthetic pigments and subsequently soluble and insoluble sugars in the infected weeds. The mycoherbicide formulation of F. solani had the greatest effect on lowering to the abovementioned amount in the leaves of Chenopodium murale. Generally, treatment of weed leaves with the specific mycoherbicide led to a highly significant increase in total phenol content when compared to the healthy control weed. C. murale infected with the mycoherbicide formulation of F. solani had higher levels of phenolic compounds than those other treated weeds particularly after 10 days of inoculation.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility and service on consumers' risk perception, which ultimately influences satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology: This study adopted experimental scenario questionnaires: 2 CSR conditions (with and without CSR) and 2 service outcomes (successful and unsuccessful). Multiple regressions were conducted to examine hypotheses. A total of 217 responses were gathered for research analysis. Results: The results of this study found that the performance risk perception and satisfaction of consumers were affected by both CSR and service. CSR was not found, however, to have a moderating effect on performance risk perception or satisfaction. Additionally, performance risk perception affected consumer satisfaction. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that consumers respond to the conditions of company's CSR and service outcomes when they stay at hotels. Findings of this study suggest service outcomes and CSR had an effect on performance risk perception and satisfaction, although CSR did not moderate the effect of service outcomes for both performance risk perception or satisfaction. Therefore, providing satisfactory customer service and undertaking CSR activities are critical to achieving consumers' overall satisfaction.
