림프마사지 교육프로그램이 유방절제술환자의 상지 기능상태와 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Educational Program of Manual Lymph Massage on the Arm Functioning and the Quality of Life in Breast Cancer Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of EPMLM(educational program of manual lymph massage) on the arm functioning and QOL(quality of life) in breast cancer patients with lymphedema. Method: Subjects in the experimental group(n=20) participated in EPMLM for 6 weeks from June to July, 2005. The EPMLM consisted of training of lymph massage for 2 weeks and encourage and support of self-care using lymph massage for 4 weeks. The arm functioning assessed at pre-treatment, 2weeks, and 6weeks using Arm functioning questionnaire. The QOL assessed at pre-treatment and 6 weeks using SF-36. The outcome data of experimental group was compared with control group(n=20). The collected data was analyzed by using SPSS 10.0 statistical program. Result: The arm functioning of experimental group was increased from 2 weeks after(W=.224, p=.011) and statistically differenced with control group at 2 weeks(Z=-2.241, p=.024) and 6 weeks(Z=-2.453, p=.013). Physical function of QOL domain increased in experimental group(Z=-1.162, p=.050), also statistically differenced with control group(Z=-2.182, p= .030) at 6weeks. Conclusion: The results suggest that the educational program of manual lymph massage can improve arm functioning and physical function of QOL domain in breast cancer patients with lymphedema.

여성농업인센터 운영사업의 사회적 편익 추정 (An Analysis of Economic Effect for Women-farmer's Center)

  • The purpose of this study was to calculate the economic effect of Women-Farmer's Center. Since 2001, The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has run Women-Farmer's Centers in which women-farmers can receive the care for their pre-schooling children, after-school learning service, and city-farm exchange, education, and counseling. In other words, Women Farmer's Center provides not only improvement of ease and quality of life of women-farmer's, but also spreading economic effect to community and country. By calculation based on business plan of 14 centers that run centers, total economic income effects are 2,784 million won, which consist of 1,265 million won for counseling, 146 million won for the care of infants and children, 139 million won after-school learning, 1,020 million won for education, and 214 million won for city-farm exchange program. The Women-Farmer's Center should be managed reasonably with government support so that Women-Farmer's Center will become as a base camp for young women farmers to participate in agriculture and rural community and increase its economic effect for the nation in the future.

임상실습 전·후 간호 대학생들의 삶의 질에 영향 요인 (Factors Affecting the Quality of Life of Nursing Students before and after Clinical Practice)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생들의 임상실습 전 후의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 평가하고자 수행되었다. 자료는 H대학 및 G대학의 3,4학년에 재학 중인 간호 대학생들 256명으로부터 2018년 2월 19일에서 6월 29일까지 설문지를 통하여 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS/WIN 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 Paired t-test, ANOVA, Spearman rho Correlation, Kendall Correlation, Multiple Linear Regression으로 분석하였다. 임상실습 전 후의 간호 대학생들의 삶의 질에 유의한 설명력을 갖는 요인은 지원 동기(t=5.268, p<.001), 성적(t=4.771, p<.001), 우울(t=-4.600, p<.001), 월 소득(t=3.383, p=.001), 학과 만족도(t=3.344, p=.001)순이고,이들 요인의 결정계수인 $R^2$은 .685로 68.5%의 설명력을 보여주었다. 이는 적성이 맞아 간호학과를 선택하여 학과 만족도도 높고 성적도 일정하게 유지하며, 경제적인 어려움과 우울의 정도가 낮은 간호 대학생들의 삶의 질이 높다고 유추된다. 따라서 간호 대학생들의 지원동기와 월 소득은 통제할 수는 없으므로 통제 가능한 성적과 학과 만족도를 향상시키고, 우울을 감소시켜 임상실습 전 후의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램을 개발함이 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

실버인지건강프로그램이 노인의 인지기능 향상에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (The Study of the Effect on the Improvement of Cognitive function by Cognitive Health Program)

  • 현 고령화 사회로 치매에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 치매예방에 대한 국가 차원의 프로그램이 미흡한 실정이다. 치매 예방 프로그램과 보급을 위해, 인지 기능 향상 프로그램을 실시하고 인지 기능 변별력, 구성력, 사고력, 기억력, 집중력으로 나누어 평가하여, 이러한 프로그램이 노인의 인지 기능에 구체적으로 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 실버인지 건강 프로그램을 편성하고, 실험 군과 대조군을 모집해 3개월 동안 프로그램을 실시하고 실험 군과 대조군을 대상으로 MMSE-DS, 노인 우울척도, 인지영역테스트 실시하여 설문조사 방법을 통해 전후를 비교, 분석한다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 프로그램 진행 전과 후의 인지 기능, MMSE-DS, 노인 우울척도를 비교한 결과 인지건강프로그램이 인지기능, MMSE-DS 및 노인우울척도 개선에 유의한 효과가 있었다. 2. 인지 기능을 5개 영역으로 나누어 테스트한 결과 기억력, 사고력, 집중력, 변별력, 구성력 순으로 향상되었다. 3. 인지건강 프로그램 실시 후 기억력과 사고력이 가장 많은 변화를 보였는데 뇌의 노화가 기억력과 사고력 부분에 많이 일어나므로, 이에 대한 집중적인 교육이 더 좋은 효과를 가져 올 수 있다.

An Evaluative Study on the Quality of Papers on the Effects of the Smoking Prevention Programs in Korea

  • This investigation was performed to summarize a few prominent features of smoking prevention program studies and to evaluate the quality of smoking prevention program studies using the Quality of Study Rating Form (QSRF). 24 school-based smoking prevention programs were subjected to an evaluation of study quality using QSRF. Study quality was 57.29 points out of 100 points on average, so it cannot be said that study quality was good. Most of the studies described the subjects and the intervention contents and intervention time. 50% stated where the intervention occurred specifically, 50% of the studies either discussed a specific theory that justified the use of one or more intervention methods, or they cited literature said to support the chosen intervention method. Only one study assigned subjects randomly to experimental groups or control groups and 50.0% of the studies showed baseline equality. There was no study where subjects were blind to being in the treatment or control group or where subjects were selected randomly by random sampling procedure. 79.2% of the studies had non-treated control groups and 20.8% of the studies had comparison groups with other treatments in the form of either other delivery methods or other contents. Sample sizes were larger than 21 in the experimental group for all studies. 75% of the studies stated face validity of outcome measure or cited from previous literature. 58.3% of the studies tested reliability and 45.8% reported the reliability measure was a figure of .70 or greater. There was no study where those rating outcomes were rated blind, because researchers generally collected data by themselves. Outcome measures were taken only after the intervention was completed and tests of statistical significance were generally referred to statistical method and p value in all studies. All studies met the criteria that follow-up was greater than 75%. The implications for the future studies were discussed.

천식 환아와 보호자를 대상으로 한 집중 교육 프로그램의 효과 (Effects of an intensive asthma education program on asthmatic children and their caregivers)

  • 목 적 : 천식은 만성적인 질환으로 일상생활에서 적절한 치료와 관리를 수행하는 것이 매우 중요하며 이를 위해서는 천식 환아와 보호자 모두의 노력이 필요하다. 이에 천식 환아와 보호자를 대상으로 천식 교육 프로그램을 실시하여 그 효과를 평가해 보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 고려대학교 안암병원 소아 알레르기 클리닉에서 천식으로 진단 받은 환아들 중 천식 집중 교육 프로그램에 참가한 15가족을 교육 참가군으로 선정하였고, 교육 프로그램에 참가하지 않은 천식 환아 15가족을 대조군으로 하였다. 교육 참가군은 프로그램 시작 직전과 3개월 후, 대조군은 같은 기간에 3개월의 간격을 두고 각각 2회씩 설문조사를 시행하여 천식 환아와 보호자의 천식관리 이행 정도와 천식 인식도, 천식 환아의 자기 효능감 및 삶의 질의 변화를 측정하였다. 결 과 : 교육 참가군에서 교육 프로그램 참가 후 천식 환아의 자가관리 이행 정도(교육 전; 27.1점 vs. 교육 후; 32.2점, P=0.011), 천식 인식도(14.2점 vs. 17.9점, P<0.001), 자기 효능감 평가 항목(42.2점 vs. 45.0점, P=0.091) 중 문제 해결 능력(12.5점 vs. 14.2점, P=0.012), 삶의 질(79.6점 vs. 88.6점, P<0.001)에서 통계적으로 유의하게 점수가 높아졌으며 보호자의 천식관리 이행 정도(39.9점 vs. 42.1점, P=0.199)와 천식 인식도(15.8점 vs. 16.9점, P=0.178)는 약간 높아졌으나 통계적으로 유의한 변화를 보이지 않았다. 대조군에서는 천식 환아의 천식 인식도 중 천식의 급성 증상과 만성질환으로서의 천식에 대한 이해(4.1점 vs. 5.2점, P=0.025)와 삶의 질 중 정서적 활동(77.7점 vs. 84.3점, P=0.023)에 대한 영역에서 유의하게 점수가 증가하였으나 다른 항목에서는 유의한 차이가 없었으며 보호자의 천식관리 이행 정도와 천식 인식도에서는 변화가 없었다. 결 론 : 천식 집중 교육 프로그램을 통하여 천식 환아들의 삶의 질, 자가 관리 이행 정도, 자기 효능감, 천식 인식도 등을 향상 시킬 수 있었으며, 이러한 프로그램을 더욱 많이 개발하고 시행하여 천식 환아들의 천식 관리가 잘 이루어 질 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

Cell Proliferation and Motility Are Inhibited by G1 Phase Arrest in 15-kDa Selenoprotein-Deficient Chang Liver Cells

  • The 15-kDa selenoprotein (Sep15) is a selenoprotein residing in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and implicated in quality control of protein folding. Herein, we established an inducible RNAi cell line that targets Sep15 mRNA in Chang liver cells. RNAi-induced Sep15 deficiency led to inhibition of cell proliferation, whereas cell growth was resumed after removal of the knockdown inducer. Sep15-deficient cells were arrested at the G1 phase by upregulating p21 and p27, and these cells were also characterized by ER stress. In addition, Sep15 deficiency led to the relocation of focal adhesions to the periphery of the cell basement and to the decrease of the migratory and invasive ability. All these changes were reversible depending on Sep15 status. Rescuing the knockdown state by expressing a silent mutant Sep15 mRNA that is resistant to siRNA also reversed the phenotypic changes. Our results suggest that SEP15 plays important roles in the regulation of the G1 phase during the cell cycle as well as in cell motility in Chang liver cells, and that this selenoprotein offers a novel functional link between the cell cycle and cell motility.

초등학생 대상의 국내 구강건강관리 프로그램에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 (A systematic review of domestic oral health care programs for elementary school children)

  • Objectives: This purpose of this study was to examine the trends in interventional research and analyze the contents and results of intervention through a systematic literature review of the domestic research literature, suggesting the effect of an oral care program on elementary school students. Methods: A total of 262 articles were retrieved initially, and the duplicate articles were then removed, excluded after screening titles, abstracts, and full-text articles. Finally, a total of 16 papers were used in the review. Results: The study included 9 articles with the nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design and 7 with the one-group pretest-posttest design. All articles were of non-randomized studies. The most common index of the interventional effect was dental plaque. Further, oral health behaviors and knowledge, perception, self-efficacy, and DMFT index were common indices. In the quality assessment, in the "blinding of outcome assessment" among six items of ROBANS, 12 studies showed a high risk of bias. Conclusions: In order to develop an interventional oral health care program for elementary school students and evaluate the effectiveness, a strict research design and qualitative improvement of research reports are required, and continuous research should be conducted to develop a systematic protocol.

건강가정지원센터의 가족친화문화 프로그램 개발 : 부모자녀가 함께 하는 요리활동 프로그램을 중심으로 (Study on the program development for the family friendly culture in Healthy Families center : focused on the cooking program of parents and children)

  • This study tried to develop and suggest the program for the family friendly culture in Healthy Families Center. This study focused on specially the cooking program on which entire family member can participate. To develop the program two theoretical perspectives were applied : 1. healthy families perspectives and family leisure, 2. child development perspectives. In the process for developing the program the related literatures were investigated and the proceding cases were analized. The developed program consisted of 4 parts : 1. today, I(child) am the chef, 2. today, daddy(or mommy) is the chef, 3. for my parents and for my kids, 4. let's take a familytrip with snacks. This program is to be made suitable for the families with child(ren) in school age. We suggested various strategies for the effective management the program in Healthy Families Center such as the program manual and workbook, the time duration of program, three steps(introduction-performance-closing) of each session and using the professionals. We suggested the pilot performance of this program for the confirmation the effectiveness of the program. The evaluation index can be used before and after the program implementation. Further research needs to investigate the program for another family life cycle, such as the family with the child(ren) of preschool age or youth child(ren). In addition, for the enhancement of professionals quality who lead the program in field the professionals academy or education program need to be offered.

여고생 니트웨어 교복의 착용 실태 및 선호도 분석 (Analysis on the Actual Wearing Conditions and Preferences of the Knit Wear School Uniforms of High School Girls)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual wearing conditions and the preferences of knit wear school uniforms. The subjects were 480 high school girls from 6 high schools placed in Daejeon. The method of study is a survey consisted of actual wearing conditions questionnaires, preferences questionnaires, and demographic attribution. Data was analyzed by frequency, variance, crosstabs, and correlation analysis using SPSS 12.0 program. The results of study are as follows. First, high school girls over 90% wearing knit wear school uniforms were satisfied with current knit wear school uniforms(navy color, V-neck, and wool mixed). Second, high school girls preferred 100% cotton material and black/white/gray color group. The style of knit wear school uniforms was most preferred monochrome cardigan with cable pattern. High school girls wanted to show neat image by knit wear school uniforms and to diversify the style of them. Third, the differences of preferences between groups, they were wearing knit wear school uniforms(A group) or not(B group), were about pattern and improvement. A group preferred school mark pattern, and wanted to improve the quality and after service. B group preferred monochrome cable pattern, and wanted to diversify the style. Both groups wanted to wear knit wear school uniforms because knit wear was 'warm' and 'comfort'. Consequently, knit wear school uniforms will help high school girls express individuality and beauty.
