본 연구의 목적은 14명의 읽기장애아동 부모를 대상으로 하이브리드 모바일 읽기 게임의 사용성에 대하여 평가한 것이다. 읽기 게임은 아동의 읽기 발달 과정에 따라 총 6단계(자모음 익숙해지기, 통글자 익히기, 자모음 결합하기, 단어 읽기, 음운 규칙, 읽기 자동화)로 구성되었다. 본 사용성 검사에서는, 부모들이 1단계부터 3단계의 읽기 게임 앱 내용을 경험해보고, 일반적인 디자인 설계 및 보편적 학습설계를 5점 평정척도로 평가하였다. 일반적인 디자인에 대한 사용성 검사 결과(총 18개 항목)를 살펴보면 상호작용 설계, 교수적 설계, 인터페이스 설계 순으로 높게 평가되었다. 보편적 학습설계 측면(총 9개 항목)의 검사 결과로는 다양한 방식의 표상을 제공, 다양한 방식의 행동과 표현수단을 제공, 다양한 방식의 학습 참여를 제공하는 것 순으로 사용성이 높게 평가되었다. 마지막으로 앱의 개선점, 현장에 제공하는 시사점, 미래연구를 위한 제언들이 논의되었다.

이 연구의 목적은 지난 2006년부터 2020년까지 15년간 23회 진행된 '책 읽는 청주' 지역사회 독서운동의 현황 및 문제점을 분석하고, 개선 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 특히 '책 읽는 청주'의 책 선정기준, 실제 선정 책 31권의 특성 및 독서토론에 초점을 맞추어 분석한 결과, '책 읽는 청주'는 지속성과 안정성이라는 강점을 갖지만, 책 선정기준 변경의 타당성 부족, 연령별 선정 책의 분산, 책들의 주제적 일관성 결여, 가시적 및 대중적 베스트셀러의 선호 경향, 개별 참여자의 지속성 확인 곤란, 사서의 기획자 역할 집중으로 직접적 토론과 소통 제한, 관 주도형 행사 진행 등은 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

Purpose - Corporate reading management requires employees capable of doing their job since employee performance is crucial to the firm's profitability. The objective of this study was to evaluate the positive effects of corporate reading management on employee management. It focuses on factors increasing employee productivity and the impacts corporate management brings about on the overall productivity of any kind of company. Research design, Data, and methodology - The current authors have investigated and conducted the qualitative content analysis (QCA) to obtain the adequate textual dataset in the prior and current literature. One of the primary benefits of doing research using content analysis is that it enables the researcher to employ a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Result - Based on the review of the prior literature, the present authors found that there are four corporate reading management solutions to improve employee performance, following those instructions - A. Increased Motivation and Productivity, B. Employee Development, C. Businesses' Objective Alignment, and D. Improved Work Environment. Conclusion - This study addressed and figured out different factors that reading corporate can apply to influence employee performance, thus increasing the company's productivity. Future research should evaluate the adverse effects businesses might face from unfavorable working environments. The research also needed to address how ethics influences employee performance.

이 연구는 책 읽어주기 활동이 초등학교 3~5학년 학생의 독서태도와 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구를 수행하기 위하여 7개의 시 도, 10개의 초등학교에서 10개의 모둠을 실험집단으로 구성하고, 참여 학교의 특정 학년의 학급을 통제집단으로 구성하였다. 실험집단의 학생에게 주1회, 60분씩, 총13회에 걸쳐 모둠별로 선정한 5권의 책을 읽어주었고 그 효과를 독서태도와 자아존중감 검사 도구로 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 책 읽어주기 활동은 초등학생들의 독서태도와 독서태도의 하위 영역인 인지, 행동, 정서 영역 모두에서 유의미한 효과를 나타냈다. 또한 책 읽어주기 활동은 초등학생들의 자아존중감을 향상시키는데도 긍정적인 효과를 나타냈으나 사회적 자아존중감에서만 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 결론적으로 책 읽어주기 활동은 초등학생의 독서태도와 자아존중감 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 초등학생들에게 책 읽어주기와 같은 즐거운 독서 경험을 제공하는 독서서비스를 강화할 필요가 있다.

The present study proposes a set of activities of teaching English reading through English newspapers to narrow the gap between the English required in authentic situation and the one taught in schools. Newspapers can provide students with opportunities to review what they have studied in the classes. The purpose of this study is, therefore, to investigate how extra-curricular activities using English newspapers have an influence on the development of the three low-achieving high school students' English reading ability. The five-month study yielded that the activities using English newspapers exerted positive effects on the students' interest in English and their English scores. It suggests that using English newspapers as teaching materials may be a desirable way both to motivate students to study English harder and to develop their English reading ability.

The purpose of this study was providing implications in teaching and learning activities to vitalize mathematical communication and to raise positive attitudes about mathematics. We analyzed mathematical communication, disposition and attitudes of the students who had lower mathematical achievement rather than that of Korean language in class using reading materials and strategies. We found that teaching-learning activities using the reading materials and strategies let the low achievers in mathematics communicate more about mathematical notions and problem-solving process actively. The activities triggered interests and attention of mathematics and self-study. In addition, the lessons with reading materials and strategies aroused confidence, will and responsibility to mathematics learning to the students. They made the learners notice mathematics' values and roles and gave the opportunity of reflection about students' learning processes. As a result, the teaching-learning using reading materials and strategies should be developed and accomplished actively in classroom to turn mathematical inclination and attitudes of the students who had had negative inclination and attitudes to mathematics into those of positive and to vitalize mathematical communication to the lower achievers in mathematics.

In the last 20 years, educators have made significant advances in their thinking about how students learn and what it is that teachers ought to teach. They attempted to teach thinking s kills and designed instructional programs to facilitate learning. The purpose of this study was to review metacognitive approaches in reading comprehension instruction, and to provide some practical implications to school teachers. First, this study reviewed the concept of metacognition. Metacognition can be divided by metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive experiences. Metacognitive knowledge consists of knowledge or beliefs about what factors interact to affect the outcome of cognitive enterprises. Metacognitive experiences are executive control of one's own cognitive process, which include planning, monitorning and evaluating. Second, this study attempted to investigate the processes of reading comprehension in the metacognitively based view. Third, this study reviewed three kinds of reading comprehension instruction. In the metacognitive approaches, instruction is viewed as constructive process in which teachers and students mediate and negotiate meaning from the instructional environment. In order to enhance reading comprehension, teachers should use examples, explicit instruction, modeling, and elaboration to provide sufficient scaffolding to students. The scaffolding gradually diminishes as students learn to use and apply the reading strategies on their own. Also, students should be encouraged to attribute successful reading to the use of appropriate strategies.

The purpose of this study is to examine how speakers use VOT and f0 to distinguish tense, lax, and aspirated stops in isolated sentence reading and paragraph readings. To do so, a total of 20 males between the ages of 20-25 years old were asked to read (1) isolated sentences, (2) information-oriented text and (3) emotional expressive texts in which the stop pronunciation's VOT value and f0 were measured thereafter. The main results are as follows. In the isolate sentence reading, lax stops, and aspirated stops were distinguished by both VOT and f0, but for the Korean men that read reading texts, VOT is not a cue to distinguish between lax and aspirated stops. In general, the VOT differences between lax stops and aspirated stops were smaller for information-oriented texts and emotional expressive texts than that of the isolate sentence reading. In the paragraph reading that induces a natural utterance, the f0 dependence is greater for the distinction between lax and aspirated stops.

본 연구는 청소년의 지속적 독서태도를 강화하기 위한 독서교육 방안을 제시하기 위해 지속적 독서태도에 영향을 미치는 요인 검토를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 우선 중학교 학생을 대상으로 한 심층면담을 통해 지속적 독서태도에 영향을 주는 요인들을 탐색하고, 이를 기반으로 개발된 설문지를 이용하여 서울 소재 중학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 학교의 환경요인, 학생 개인 특성 및 흥미, 그리고 독서교육에 대한 인식이 지속적 독서태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학교의 환경개선과 긍정적인 독서태도를 형성하기 위한 흥미 중심 독서교육의 필요성을 확인하였으며, 성별과 학년에 따른 독서교육방법의 차별화를 제안하였다. 본 연구는 지속적 독서태도 강화를 위한 학교도서관 독서교육의 방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

A communication protocol for automatic meter reading is designed for electronic power meter. Communicational functions and data structures are standardized and data reading software is developed according to the developed protocol. The communication protocol is designed with reference specifications, IEC 62056-31 and Distributed Network Protocol(DNP). For design, communicational functions and specifications of the industrial meters were analyzed for the purpose of developing a new one for KEPCO meters. The protocol is designed with 3 layer model, physical layers, data link layer and application layer. A documentation was completed with data gathering, data classification, authentication, error detection. An emulator system was made for testing the protocol. A meter reading software was developed using the protocol. Many different protocols and meter reading softwares are integrated into one with the developed protocol and software as KEPCO's standard.
