  • In the 4th industrial revolution, the field of criminal justice is paying attention to Legaltech using artificial intelligence to provide efficient legal services. This paper attempted to create a crime prediction model that can apply Recurrent Neural Network(RNN) to increase the potential for using legal technology in the domestic criminal justice field. To this end, the crime process was divided into pre, during, and post stages based on the criminal facts described in the judgment, utilizing crime script analysis techniques. In addition, at each time point, the method and evidence of crime were classified into objects, actions, and environments based on the sentence composition elements and the 8 principles of investigation. The case summary analysis framework derived from this study can contribute to establishing situational crime prevention strategies because it is easy to identify typical patterns of specific crime methods. Furthermore, the results of this study can be used as a useful reference for research on generating crime situation prediction data based on RNN models in future follow-up studies.

  • With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, diverse and a large amount of data has been accumulated now. The agricultural community has also collected environmental data that affects the growth of crops in smart farms or open fields with sensors. Environmental data has different features depending on where and when they are measured. Studies have been conducted using collected agricultural data to predict growth and yield with statistics and artificial intelligence. The results of these studies vary greatly depending on the data on which they are based. So, studies to enhance data quality have also been continuously conducted for performance improvement. A lot of data is required for high performance, but if there are outlier or missing values in the data, it can greatly affect the results even if the amount is sufficient. So, adjustment of outlier and missing values is essential in the data preprocessing. Therefore, this paper integrates data collected from actual farms and proposes a adjustment system for outlier and missing values based on it.

  • Beacon is a wireless communication device that can automatically recognize the smart device in the short distance and transmit the necessary data, Beacon is a representative Internet of Things (IoT) facility in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, which is utilized in various fields such as short-distance information delivery, mobile location service, shopping, and marketing, and is constantly evolving. In this paper, it is based on tourist site-based recommendation information service. A system is proposed that recommends customized information according to the user's interest, preference, etc. by incorporating beacon technology. In other words, it acts as an information agent that informs tourists of desired information. In order to meet the needs of tourists, it is necessary to build an intelligent tourism recommendation system. The personalized Korean food and tourism recommendation management system using the beacon technology proposed in this paper is expected to provide high-quality services not only to foreigners visiting Korea but also to Korean tourists.

  • As the next generation technology, leading 4th industrial revolution has been progressed, the goods and services converged by the technology are being released in a market. The smart appliances among them attracts users' attentions as a key promising industry. Thus, this study investigates the factors that influence switching intention to smart appliances based on Push-Pull-Mooring framework. We collected 217 survey responses and formed structural equation modeling with AMOS 22.0. The results show that functional deprivation, money deprivation, alternative attractiveness had an effect on the switching intention to smart appliances. In addition, low switching cost is related to the relationship between external variables and switching intention. The results expect to provide useful information to the smart appliance-related companies.

  • In order to cultivate human resources to live in the 4th industrial revolution era, software (SW) education became mandatory in the 2015 revised curriculum. Furthermore the science mathematics informatics education promotion law was enacted to emphasize the importance of software convergence education. Therefore, it is necessary to study how to converge and educate mathematics and science with software education to solve problems in real life and various disciplines. This study is to find the directions and effectiveness of software convergence education through content analysis of the software mathematics science convergence teaching and learning materials, which are recently developed and distributed by the Ministry of Education et al. The results of this research are expected to suggest implications to future researches about software, mathematics and science convergence education.

  • VR technology is a technology that allows a user to experience virtual reality close to reality by wearing an HMD (Head Mounted Display) device. Recently, as the interest in VR technology increases due to the 4th industrial revolution, various HMD devices are spreading. As a result, VR technology is being rapidly applied to various fields, but many of them still experience VR nausea. VR nausea is caused mainly by visual factors, unlike motion nausea, such as car nausea, sea nausea, and air nausea. Such occurrence of VR nausea may be caused by the characteristics of visual information of VR video contents, the hardware characteristics of HMD devices blocking the external visual field, or the physical specificity of individuals, and it is difficult to distinguish the causes. In this paper, we aim to analyze the characteristics of Visually Induced Motion Nausea images focusing on VR video content, which is the cause of VR nausea, in order to search for minimization of Cyber sickness occurrence.

  • As the 4th industrial revolution emerged, the latest technologies such as IoT, AI, Big data, AR/VR/XR are emerging. However, in the field of virtual reality (VR) technology platform services, there is no standardization and systematic support. In addition, various platform technologies related to virtual reality have been presented, making it difficult to select an API that should be selected for development. In this study, we analyzed the method for virtual reality development and the virtual reality (VR) technology that is being serviced by users. In addition, by presenting the advantages and disadvantages of each development platform, we intend to present a reference point for developers to select an efficient platform. In addition, it will help the developer to select an effective equipment and software platform in comparison with the advantages and disadvantages of various HMD devices used in virtual reality. The virtual reality (VR) development environment test used products from Oculus, and the software development environment was tested with two types: WebBased VR and HMD embedded.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to derive valuable but hidden infromation from the data which is the core foundation in the 4th Industrial Revolution to pursue knowledge-based service fusion. The hyper-connected societies characterized by IoT inevitably produce big data, and with the data in order to derive optimal services for trouble situations it is first processed by discovering valuable information. A data-centric IoT platform is a platform to collect, store, manage, and integrate the data from variable devices, which is actually a type of middleware platforms. Its purpose is to provide suitable solutions for challenged problems after processing and analyzing the data, that depends on efficient and accurate algorithms performing the work of data analysis. To this end, we propose specially designed structures to store IoT data without losing the semantics and provide algorithms to discover the useful information with several definitions and proofs to show the soundness.

  • With the technology of the 4th industrial revolution, network traffic is increasing due to an increase in supply, an increase in demand, and an increase in the complexity of traffic patterns. SDN, a concept in which H/W and S/W are separated in order to efficiently manage such massive traffic, is attracting attention as a next-generation network. A lot of research is being conducted on the merits of applying flexible policies by avoiding the problem of rigid vendor dependency by using the SDN controller implemented with S/W Opensource. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an efficient load balancing technique by grouping through the packet structure of the network layer using the control layer and infrastructure layer of SDN and analyzing the packet delay and reception rate.
