  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the differences in employment trends between enterprises and job seekers related to the 4th Industrial Revolution, focusing on the 11 elements of recruitment process. As a method of analysis, a methodology suitable for the convergence research methodology was used by mixing social network analysis and variance analysis, and significant results were derived. First, while large enterprises emphasized organizational culture and job analysis, small enterprises emphasized an interview from the perspective of practitioners. Second, in both manufacturing and service industries, enterprises emphasized interviews and documents, but job seekers emphasized job analysis. Third, the proportion of the recruitment process was found to be greater in the manufacturing industry than in the service industry. Fourth, it was found that enterprises accounted for a larger proportion of the recruitment process than job seekers. This showed an interaction effect between the subject and the industry sector. Therefore, the evaluation of the recruitment process between enterprises and job seekers was found to be very different.

  • Recently, big data is rapidly emerging as a core technology in the 4th industrial revolution. Further, the utilization and the demand of drones are continuously increasing with the development of the 4th industrial revolution. However, as the drones usage increases, the risk of drones falling increases. Drones always have a risk of being able to fall easily even with small problems due to its simple structure. In this paper, in order to predict the risk of drone fall and to prevent the fall, ESC (Electronic Speed Control) is attached integrally with the drone's driving motor and the acceleration sensor is stored to collect the vibration data in real time. By processing and monitoring the data in real time and analyzing the data through big data obtained in such a situation using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm, we proposed a prediction system that minimizes the risk of drone fall by analyzing big data collected from drones.

  • Recently, users' interest in IoT related products is increasing as the 4th industrial revolution has become social. The types and functions of sensors used in IoT devices are becoming increasingly diverse, and mutual authentication technology of IoT devices is required. In this paper, we propose an efficient double signature authentication scheme using Pascal's triangle theory so that different types of IoT devices can operate smoothly with each other. The proposed scheme divides the authentication path between IoT devices into two (main path and auxiliary path) to guarantee authentication and integrity of the IoT device. In addition, the proposed scheme is suitable for IoT devices that require a small capacity because they generate keys so that additional encryption algorithms are unnecessary when authenticating IoT devices. As a result of the performance evaluation, the delay time of the IoT device is improved by 6.9% and the overhead is 11.1% lower than that of the existing technique. The throughput of IoT devices was improved by an average of 12.5% over the existing techniques.

  • Today, in the era of the 4th industrial revolution based on the paradigm of hyper-connectivity, super-intelligence, and superconvergence, the remote work environment is becoming central based on technologies such as mobile, cloud, and big data. This remote work environment has been accelerated by the demand for non-face-to-face due to COVID-19. Since the remote work environment can perform various tasks by accessing services and resources anytime and anywhere, it has increased work efficiency, but has caused a problem of incapacitating the traditional boundary-based network security model by making the internal and external boundaries ambiguous. In this paper, we propse a method to improve the limitations of the traditional boundary-oriented security strategy by building a security model centered on core components and their relationships based on the zero trust idea that all actions that occur in the network beyond the concept of the boundary are not trusted.

  • In most countries, public libraries have played a role as a hub of knowledge and information, complex culture of local communities, and a third place for meeting and communication. And recent public libraries are focusing on enhancing their core competencies and expanding services using digital technologies to meet the era of digital transformation and the 4th industrial revolution. However, after the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, all public libraries are repeatedly closed, reopened, and partially closed, and all resources are devoted to providing non-contact, digital and online alternative services, and are expected to continue in the future. As a result, future public libraries are bound to face a trilemma in which digital expandability, complex cultural space, and importance as a place of knowledge and information service are conflicting. This study discoursed on the public library trilemma in the post-COVID-19 era and suggested ways to overcome it. The orientation of the future public library is the fusion and harmony of multiplicity and multipurpose, place and space, knowledge & information and complex culture, face-to-face service and remote service. The main body of a public library is not the finger (digital and non-contact), but the moon (knowledge information center).

  • As the 4th industrial revolution has been an emerging issue, the government and industry has paid increasing interest to smart factory. The Korean government has made efforts to establish smart manufacturing capabilities of small-to-medium sized firms by providing supports for smart factory. However, the effectiveness of the supports and satisfaction of firms have hardly been analyzed. This study aims to analyze firms' satisfaction by attributes of policy suuports for smart factory and identify priorities for government supports. The results show that 8 out of 11 attributes were one-dimensional and 3 were attractive attributes. Among the 11 attributes, funding support was the top priority. The attributes such as dispatching external experts, consulting for sophistication of smart-factory, and consulting for maintenance and repair were also high priorities. These results imply that firms prefer supports for maintenance and sophistication to adoption or initial establishment of smart factory.
