In this paper, we derive the likelihood function for the independent random order statistic whose underlying lifetime distribution is a two parameter Weibull form. For this purpose we first discuss the order statistic which represent a characteristic feature of most life and fatigue tests that they give rise to ordered observations. And, we describe the properties of the underlying Weibull model. The derived likelihood function is essential for establishing the statistical life test plans in the case of Weibull distribution using a likelihood ratio method.

Urban transit is system that offer target Performance and function because various lower part system such as vehicles, signaling, power supply, rail track is consisted as complex. For numerical evaluation of Cauchy principal value integrals, we present a simple rational function with a parameter satisfying some reasonable conditions. The proposed rational function is employed in coordinate transformation for accelerating the accuracy of the Gauss quadrature rule. The efficiency of the proposed rational transformation method is demonstrated by the numerical result of a selected test example.

Objective : To explore the effectiveness of sensory integration program of home-based outcomes in child with sensory modulation disorder. Methods : This study used the simple case study. The subjects were three children diagnosed as developmentally delayed who 14 month and 26 month males and a 15 month female. After initial evaluation, parents were educated on sensory diet and Wilbarger protocol method for 30 minutes twice for home-based treatment and asked to make out daily treatment planning. To measure improvement of children, we used for the Denver Developmental Screening Test II(DDST II), Wee Functional Independence Measure(WeeFIM), hand function, functional ability, oral motor function, Sensory Profile(Dunn, 1999). Results : After the home-based program, the scored of the Denver Developmental Screening Test II(DDST II), Wee Functional Independence Measure(WeeFIM), hand function, functional ability, oral motor function, Sensory Profile(Dunn, 1999) were higher rather than initial evaluation after the home-based program. Conclusion : The home-based program is effective for children with sensory modulation disorder but parents had to be educated by therapist specific evaluation and treatment in sensory integration.

This study examined the effects of exposure to the electromagnetic field emitted by mobile phone on human cognitive function. Total volunteers were twenty and volunteers were separated in two groups. One is teenager group, and the other is adult group. Test was performed in the counterbalanced order(sham-real, real-sham). Subject remained blind to mobile phone status during the exam. The result showed that the exposure to the electromagnetic field significantly speeded up response time fur teenager group. This results suggest that exposure to the electromagnetic field emitted by cellular phones may have a mild facilitating effect on cognitive function in teenager group.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the depression and cognitive function of community-dwelling older adults. Methods: 243 aged over 65 in Won-Ju in South Korea participated in this study. Data were collected from April to June 2013 through interviews. This study utilized the Geriatric Depression Scale Short Form, the Korean version of MMSE-DS (MMSE for Dementia Screening), and infirmity testing for basic health status. Descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient were used. Results: 75.3% of the participants belonged to the depression group, and the prevalence of cognitive impairment was 17.3%. There were significant differences in depression and cognitive function according to gender, educational level, type of insurance, subjective health, frailty, and whether to be a client of home care service. The level of depression was significantly higher and the level of cognitive functions was significantly lower in older adults in home care services than in community-dwelling older adults. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it included older adults in home care services to provide information to develop effective prevention programs for improving cognitive functions. The results of this study can be used to develop future community prevention and intervention.

This study was carried out to compare the rotation between vestibular function and balance skills in normal and hearing-impaired children. The subjects were 20 normal children (8-10 years) and 20 bearing-impaired children (8-10 years). The SCPNT was used to assess vestibular function, then, one leg stance test was used to compare static balance skill of normal and hearing-impaired children according to existence of visual input and sex. The results were as follows: 1. In SCPNT, normal md hearing-impaired children showed statistical significance in all left-sided and right-sided rotations(p<.01), and the vestibular function responses of hearing-impaired children wore normal $20\%$, abnormal $45\%$, absent $35\%$. 2. To compare balance skills between normal and hearing-impaired according to eye open and eye close, one-leg stance Oat showed statistical significance in eye open(p<.05), but did not show statistical significance in eye close(p>.05). 3. SCPNT, ene-leg stance test did not show statistical significance according to sex(p>.05).

This paper describes the multichannel combined R2MFC/DTMF/CCT reciver which provides a signaling service functions for call processing control in digital switching system. Using the TMS320C25 DSP chip, we have implemented multi-function receriver shich processes 8 channels of R2MFC, DTMF, and CCT signals simultaneously. In order to increase the channel multiplicity of the combined receiver. R2MFC and CCT receiver were employed by discrete Fourier transform(DFT) method using Goertzel algorithm, and DTMFreceiver was employ by infinite impulse reponse(IIR) filtering method using 4KHz subsampling technique. The combined receiver has 4 function modes for each channel such as R2MFC, DTMF, CCT, and Idle modes. The function mode of each channel may be selected at any time by single-chip micro-controller(.mu.C). Hence, the number of channels assigned for each function mode can be adjusted dynamically according to the signaling traffic variations. From the experimental test results using the test-bed, it has been proved that the combined receiver statisfies all receiver satisfies all receiver specifications, and provides good channel multiplicity and performance, Therefore, it may give a great improvement than existing receiver in cost, reliability, availability, and serviceability.

Objective: To examine the effects of Hyeongbangdojeok-san-gami (荊防導赤散加味方) which has been used in asthmatic patients in Korean Medicine. Methods: Five asthmatic patients were enrolled who had visited Semyung University Korean Medical Hospital from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. They were examined by a pulmonary function test and completed the Quality of Life Questionnaire for adult Korean Asthmatics (QLQAKA) before and after taking Hyeongbangdojeok-san-gami for 3 weeks. All data were analyzed by paired t-tests. Results: After treatment with Hyeongbangdojeok-san-gami for 3 weeks, Forced Expiratory Volume 1 sec (FEV 1.0) improved significantly (p=0.01) and Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) showed an increase of 20% in results examined by Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). The results of the QLQAKA indicated that the main improvements occurred in theitems associated with theactivity domain. Conclusions: This study suggests that Hyeongbangdojeok-san-gami is effective in improving pulmonary function and quality of life in patients with asthma. More extensive study is needed in the future.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a comprehensive rehabilitation program on grip strength, pinch strength, the shoulder joint function, flexibility, and fatigue in mastectomy patients. Method: The subjects were fifty-five women with breast cancer (27 in the control group and 28 in the experimental group). The subjects in the experimental group participated in a comprehensive rehabilitation program for 10 weeks, which was composed of education, stress management, exercise, and peer support group activity. Results: The results revealed that the increase in grip strength, key pinch, the shoulder joint function, and flexibility (Back & Reach test, Standing & Bending reach test) of the operated extremity, and the decrease in fatigue were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group. However, the results revealed that tip strength and palmar pinch of the experimental group increased but there was no significant difference from that of the control group. Conclusions: The 10-week comprehensive rehabilitation program showed much affirmative effect on physical function, and fatigue of breast cancer patients after mastectomy.
