기술적 성능향상 및 경제성을 고려한 기술 확산(Technology Diffusion) 추세에 대한 연구 : 32nm, 22nm, 14nm 로직 반도체의 기술진화 사례 (A study on technology diffusion trend considering technological performance enhancement and economics : case of technology evolution of 32nm, 22nm, 14nm logic semiconductors)

  • 기술의 확산 현상의 추세 및 발생 동인에 대한 정확한 이해는 새로운 기술을 예측하고 기술 혁신의 과정을 이해하는데 매우 유용하다. 본 연구에서는 기술의 진화 속도가 빠른 반도체 산업 32nm, 22nm, 14nm 로직 기술의 실증적 사례에 대해 기술적 성능 향상 및 경제성 지표를 고려한 정량적 추세 분석을 적용하여 기술 확산 현상의 추세 및 발생 동인을 분석하였다. 기술적 성능 향상을 고려한 기술 확산 곡선은 S곡선의 성숙기, 쇠퇴기 형태를 보였고, 경제성 기반 기술 확산 곡선은 학습효과곡선의 형태를 보였다. 기술 확산 곡선은 2년의 수명주기를 보였고, 기술 세대별 기술적 성능향상 또는 칩 제조비용의 변화 정도가 정량적으로 관찰되었다. 또한 제품구조혁신은 경제적 발생동인보다 기술적 발생동인이 더 지배적인 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 첨단기술기반의 반도체 산업에 대한 기술 확산 현상의 추세 및 발생 동인에 대한 실증연구로 시사점이 있으며, 기술 예측 또는 기술 전략 수립에 활용될 수 있으므로 실무적으로도 의의가 크다.

  • Artificial intelligence, which is based on deep learning, is emerging as a fundamental technology that will bring about future social changes. Artificial intelligence technology in IT is an essential intelligent system, and will overcome the performance limit of computing systems, and is expected to be the foundation for the development of computing environment destructively. The development of artificial intelligence technology in developed countries is a direction toward convergence with brain science. In this article, we will look at the prospect of artificial intelligence as the manifestation of imagination, as well as the technology and policy trends of artificial intelligence both at home and abroad, and discuss the direction of future technology development in terms of fusion with brain science.

  • This paper examines theoretical trends and policy issues concerning science and public. The dominant perspective about it was changed from “popularization of science” to “public understanding of science (PUS)”. PUS pays attention to active roles of public in the understanding of science based on the contextual model. And recently various concepts are attempted to complement PUS such as “heterogeneous PUS”, “quantitative PUS”, “public understanding of research”, and “public participation in science”. PUS related activities in Korea can be analyzed using the concept of “science and technology culture system”. The characteristics of science and technology culture system in Korea can be summarized as follows: Its purpose is confined to support existing national innovation system; Its constituents have been unevenly and separately developed; Its material and institutional infrastructure is not sufficiently prepared; Its organizing mechanism is strongly influenced by government's execution power.

네트워크 주소 이동 기술 동향 (Trends in Network Address Moving Technology)

  • Moving Target Defense(MTD) is a novel security technology concept in which the IT infrastructure changes its form actively and prevents various types of cyber attacks. Network address moving technology is the field that has been most actively researched in terms of MTD. A number of studies on network address moving published over the last decade have suggested a virtual address-based network address moving technology for efficiency in the implementation. However, virtual address-based network address moving technology has serious vulnerabilities in terms of security and availability. This paper examines the technological characteristics of the existing studies and analyzes their limitations. It suggests security requirements to be considered when designing the network address moving technology through a technological analysis.

  • 과학 기술의 발전은 사회를 급격하게 변화시켜 왔다. 특허 자료 분석은 현대 과학 기술의 흐름을 이해하고 미래 유망기술을 예측할 수 있게 한다. 본 연구에서는 기술의 동향을 파악하고자 1985년과 2012년 사이에 미국 특허청에 등록된 특허를 중심으로 특허 인용 네트워크를 분석한다. 주요 기술군을 파악하기 위해 PageRank 알고리즘 외에 다양한 중심성 지표를 이용하고, 통계적 네트워크 모형을 통해 유사한 기술들의 군집을 찾아내고자 한다.

  • The development and application of silicon photonics technology to terabit optical transmission are expected in the future. Silicon photonics technology is recognized as the only technology focusing on increasing the bandwidth of data center switches. High-density integration-based small optical subassemblies, optical engines, and optical transceivers are converged with the silicon photonics technology to accelerate a revolution in optical interfaces.

  • The core of the change in the era of the 4th industrial revolution is the change in the base of 'digital technology'. These changes are incomparably large and are expected to have a more important impact on our lives than ever before. One of the major inflection points in the transition to the digital era is the education field, and IT technology has become an essential element in the educational field. Accordingly, this study examines domestic research trends related to the educational environment based on digital technology. Then, we would like to provide implications for the establishment of a digital-based educational environment that will change in the future. To this end, Semantic network analysis has been conducted to quantitatively structure text data obtained from studies related to digital technology in the field of mathematics education over the past 10 years, and the discussion will continue based on the results.
