Many scientists today say that converged technologies, not specifically dedicated technologies, will be in the vanguard in the $21^{st}$ century. Technological Convergence is the merging of different areas of technology to perform similar tasks. Since we are living in the era of Technological Convergence, it is time for us to think about how to cope with the daily demands we are facing in science parks. Technological Convergence is a mega trend in commercial areas today but, so far, no science parks seem to have tried to reshape their management policies or programs in order to utilize this trend. For the development of science parks we suggest some tasks such as: identify potentials for Technological Convergence, establish a convergent ecosystem by building connections across stove-piped systems, effect a technological convergence platform, and conduct further research for strengthening plans for converging technologies.

In recent years, 'technological fusion or convergence' has drawn a lot of attention of innovation researchers and governmental policy makers as the driving force of technological innovation and industrial growth. There are, however, few studies on the analysis of longitudinal trends of technological convergence and its comparison between global and national level. In this study, with the citation data of about 18 million articles, we analyzed 1) the growth of representative convergence research areas, 2) the convergence of citing patterns between research fields, and 3) the changing trend of diversity index of all research fields. We conclude that technological convergence in korea shows the relatively strong orientation to the combination of neighboring fields than that of heterogenous fields in comparison to global trend. In particular, the relatively weak activity of cognitive science and the low level of mutual exchange between arts/humanities/social sciences and natural/engineering sciences in Korea are emphasized.

본 연구는 협력적특허분류(CPC)를 활용한 '사물인터넷(IoT)' 과 '웨어러블(wearables)' 의 기술융합동향 분석에 관한 것이다. 국내 도입 분야가 점차 확대되고 있는 CPC는 기존의 국제특허분류(IPC)보다 세분화된 분류를 제공해 기술 특성을 더 세밀하고 정확하게 반영할 수 있어 특허정보 분석 시 활용도를 배가시킬 것으로 기대된다. 아직까지 CPC를 특허정보 분석에 활용한 연구가 드물며, 특허분류코드를 활용해 기술융합현상을 분석한 선행연구들 대부분이 IPC코드를 활용하였다. 본 연구에서는 CPC를 활용하여 wearable IoT 영역의 기술융합동향분석을 실시하였고, 이를 위한 사전분석으로서 각 특허에 할당된 CPC와 IPC를 비교분석하였다. 연관규칙 마이닝 기법을 활용한 CPC 코드분석을 통해 융합이 활발하게 발생하는 기술영역들을 도출하고 시간에 따른 추세변화를 파악하였다.

Purpose - This study attempted to analyze news big data in order to examine the trend of change in housework due to technological innovation and family changes. Research design, data, and methodology - News big data was collected from Bigkinds for the purpose of trend analysis. A total of 8,270 articles containing 'housework' were extracted from news articles between January 1, 1990 and December 31, 2021. 11 general daily newspapers and 8 business newspapers were selected and were analyzed by dividing them into five-year units. Result - The change of trends in housework that appeared through news big data analysis can be summarized as below. First, the tendency to regard housework as work of women or housewives is gradually weakening. Instead, the centrality of connection with double income is increasing. Second, there is a tendency to strengthen the institutional approach to evaluation of the productivity of housework. Third, the possibility of market substitution for housework is expanding. Conclusion - In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, examining the impact of technological innovation and family change on housework not only enables the prospect of an industry, but also provides implications for policies related to housework. In addition, this study is differentiated in that it contributed to expand the field of housework research previously limited to analyzing survey data.

기술의 확산 현상의 추세 및 발생 동인에 대한 정확한 이해는 새로운 기술을 예측하고 기술 혁신의 과정을 이해하는데 매우 유용하다. 본 연구에서는 기술의 진화 속도가 빠른 반도체 산업 32nm, 22nm, 14nm 로직 기술의 실증적 사례에 대해 기술적 성능 향상 및 경제성 지표를 고려한 정량적 추세 분석을 적용하여 기술 확산 현상의 추세 및 발생 동인을 분석하였다. 기술적 성능 향상을 고려한 기술 확산 곡선은 S곡선의 성숙기, 쇠퇴기 형태를 보였고, 경제성 기반 기술 확산 곡선은 학습효과곡선의 형태를 보였다. 기술 확산 곡선은 2년의 수명주기를 보였고, 기술 세대별 기술적 성능향상 또는 칩 제조비용의 변화 정도가 정량적으로 관찰되었다. 또한 제품구조혁신은 경제적 발생동인보다 기술적 발생동인이 더 지배적인 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 첨단기술기반의 반도체 산업에 대한 기술 확산 현상의 추세 및 발생 동인에 대한 실증연구로 시사점이 있으며, 기술 예측 또는 기술 전략 수립에 활용될 수 있으므로 실무적으로도 의의가 크다.

KIPRIS patent database was analyzed for identifying the technological status of Daedeok Innopolis Biocluster. It was found that the pattern of activities among various technological areas in Daedeok Biocluster is similar to that of an advanced country rather than those of other cities in Korea. The technological growth in Daedeok Innopolis Biocluster is in the progressive stage, which may be due to the innovative activities rather than the rise in the number of new firms or institutes. The concentration of technology in Daedeok Innopolis Biocluster is a favorable condition for the innovation activities. The trend for the technological concentration was remarkably consistent with the growth curve that a population increases according to the logistic equation. The logistic growth may be represented by the result of competition due to the limited resource allocation and then innovation cluster is corresponding to the ecosystem composed by biological individuals. There is strong competition in Daedeok Innopolis Biocluster in around 2009, so the government might make a policy to encourage the technological diversity for healthy knowledge ecosystem.

이 논문에서는 특허정보의 분석을 통해 휴대용 멀티미디어 단말기(PMP) 분야의 국내외 기술개발 동향과 주요국의 기술적 위치를 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 PMP 관련분야 특허의 연도별 출원동향, 특허 포트폴리오 분석을 통한 관련기술의 발전단계, 출원인별 특허 점유율, 주요국의 당해 분야 혁신 리더 동향, 국제특허분류(IPC)별 특허출원 동향 등을 분석한다. 그리고, 주요국의 PMP 분야 기술수준을 분석한다. 이를 위해 특허당 인용건수(CPP), 과학연계지수(SL), 시장확보지수(PFS) 등의 지표를 활용하기로 한다. 또한, 주요국의 PMP 분야에서의 연구개발 단계를 살펴보고, 이들 국가의 기술 경쟁력을 관련된 과학기술 분야의 논문과 특허를 이용한 인용분석을 통해 평가하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to extract and classify the general patterns on scientific and technological development by quantitative approaches. Indicators used for this pattern classification amounted to a total of 39. what is more, these indicators were set up with the recent data for the first half of the 1970's mainly, and 141 nations were selected as the sample of the analysis. 7 aspects which prescribe the scentific and technological activities were established, and so 3 patterns of the S & T development were extrected by means of a "two-dimensional cross section" among them. (1) A pattern showing the trend of the exponential curve from the point over a certain level (in this study, it is defined as "Threshold Valued"). (2) A pattern in which elasticity of the exponential curve is gradually reduced from the point over the threshold value. (3) A pattern not showing any trend, but forming a large variance.
