The main purpose of this work is to propose programs of mathematics education and mathematics history courses for the department of mathematics education of teacher training universities. Foundation of Mathematics Education, Mathematics Teaching and Learning Theories, Mathematics Problem Solving, Analysis and Evaluation of Mathematics Teaching Materials and Mathematics History are discussed in this article.

This study examines the effect that mathematics teaching efficacy has on teacher's mathematics education practices. Data was obtained from 220 kindergarten teachers who responded to the questionnaire, the mathematics teaching efficacy belief instrument (developed by Enochs). Among these 220 teachers, upper and lower 5 % of the teachers on mathematics teaching efficacy belief were chosen to identify the influence of mathematics teaching efficacy on mathematics activity style, teaching strategy, and teacher-child interaction. The results indicated that teacher's interest in math, previous participation in mathematics teaching method course mainly influenced mathematics teaching self-efficacy. Teachers with high mathematics teaching efficacy belief preferred providing mathematical learning activity than providing other learning areas. They employed effective mathematics teaching strategy such as high and medium cognitive distancing strategy and established positive teacher-child relationship. Implications for teacher education and professional development activities were discussed.

In this paper, we tried to examine the didactical transpositions of the mathematical knowledges in the computer-based environment for mathematics learning and teaching, and also analyse the extreme didactical problems Computer has been regarded as an alterative that could overcome the difficulties in the teaching and learning of mathematics and many broad studies have been made to use computers in mathematics teaching and learning. But Any systematic analysis on the didactical problems of the computer-based environment for mathematics education has not been tried up to this time. In this paper, first of all, we analysed the didactical problems in the computer-based environment, and then, the mode of using computer for mathematics teaching and learning.

It is necessary that at any rate we try to decrease underachievers by learning deficiency in mathematics to extreme limits under circumstances that mathematics becomes more requisite daily in the 21st century's informative society. However, the traditional teaching method causes a lot of problems in elevating the needed ability for the newly changing society. Accordingly, for the purpose of letting underachievers by learning deficiency have much interest in mathematics, seek the qualitative elevation, have the feelings of self-confidence and accomplishments, escape from desperation, and also teachers choose the activities of small groups, design teaching plans, apply those to teaching-learning activities and finally verify the effect, this researcher sets up a hypothesis as follows: 1. The teaching method through small groups will be effective for the accomplishments of underachievers in mathematics. 2. Its method will bring out the meaningful change in the emotional areas of mathematics. Therefore, so as to prove the above hypothesis, the results through the theoretical approach and practicing teaming by small groups have turned out to be positive.

제7차 교육과정은 수학과 교수-학습의 중심 원리로 구성주의 이론을 들고 있다. 그리고 학습방법 면에서도 탐구 학습, 자기 주도적 학습, 협동 학습을 통해서 정말 쉬우면서도 재미있는 활동 중심의 수업이 되도록 교과서를 구성하고 있는데 이러한 교과서 편찬 방향이나 교수-학습 방법도 구성적 방법에 그 뿌리를 두고 있다. 이러한 구성주의적 요소들이 투입된 교수-학습 방법은 관심 있는 교사들에 의해 이미 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 그들에게 수업 과정의 단계화, 지식 구성의 위계화를 이루는 데 도움을 주고, 교수-학습 방법의 기준이 될 교수-학습 모델을 제시할 필요가 있다. 또한 이 모델을 적용한 수업 사례를 들어 지식의 구성 과정을 살펴봄으로써 모델의 적용 과정을 이해하도록 하여야 한다.

시대적 흐름과 정부의 정책 시행 노력에도 불구하고 수학학습에 어려움을 호소하는 학생들이 많이 늘어나고 있다. 이를 반영하여 수학교육에서 수학학습부진아와 관련된 연구가 많이 시행되었다. 하지만 이러한 연구들의 대부분은 수학학습부진아의 원인을 밝혀내거나 교수학적 처치를 시행하고 그 효과를 알아보는 실험연구가 대부분이었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학위논문 및 학술지 논문 49편을 메타분석하여 수학학습부진에 대한 교수학적 처치가 학업성취도 향상에 얼마나 큰 효과크기를 갖는지 분석하였다. 이러한 분석의 결과 수학학습부진아에게 교수학적 처치는 전반적으로 중간 정도의 효과크기를 갖는다는 것을 알게 되었다. 또한 여러 중재요인을 분석하여 어떠한 환경에서 가장 큰 효과를 거둘 수 있는지에 대한 제안점도 얻을 수 있었다.

The paper used the quantitative method to compare Chinese students' and teachers' mathematics related beliefs, including beliefs about mathematics, mathematics teaching and learning. The result indicated that there are some differences between their beliefs. Based on the results, we give some recommendations.

This study expects that Team Based Project Learning can act positive role to improve pre-service elementary teachers' teaching competence from previous studies. So designing and executing Team Based Project Learning program, I can provide some suggestions to the teaching method for teacher training education. In this study, Team Based Project Learning focuses on the use of history of mathematics in school mathematics. Also from organizing the team to evaluation, I conduct team activity systematically both inside and outside the classroom. The result of this study shows that pre-service elementary teachers' teaching competence has improved and I could identify the positive response about the value of using the history of mathematics and effect of Team Based Project Learning in mathematics learning.

최근 교사의 전문성 중 가장 핵심이 되는 수업 전문성이 강조되고 있다. 특히 2012년 수학교육선진화 방안 발표 후 수학 교사의 수업 능력의 중요성이 강조되었다. 수학 교사의 수업능력 향상을 위해서는 예비수학교사 시기에서부터 교육 경험이 필요하다. 예비수학교사의 수업 능력 개발 및 강화를 위해서는 교육적 실행과 관련하여 자신의 실천을 체계적으로 반성하고 개선해 나아가는 경험이 필요하다. 즉, 반성적 사고와 실천적 지식의 함양을 위한 수업 실습에 관한 이론과 실천 양면의 체계적인 실행과 지도가 필요하다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 예비수학교사의 수업능력 향상을 위해 실행 가능한 교수-학습 포트폴리오의 구성요소 및 적용절차를 개발하였다. 또한 수업능력 향상을 위한 교수-학습 포트폴리오 작성 후 설문조사를 통하여 예비수학교사의 수업능력 향상에 효과적이었으며, 수학교사 교육을 위한 발전적인 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다.
