사회극화놀이에서 교사개입이 유아의 사회극화놀이 수준, 사회적 기술 및 언어능력에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Teacher Intervention in Sociodramatic Play on Social Play Levels, Social Skills and Language Abilities of Young Children)

  • The subjects of this study on the effects of teacher intervention in sociodramatic plays were 54 five-year-old children from 2 public kindergartens in C city. Socioeconomic stasus and, aside from teacher interventions, educational procedures were the same for both the experimental group(28 subjects) and the control (26 subjects) groups in both schools. Instruments were the Social Play Rating Scale(Smilansky & Shefatya, 1990), Social Situations Measure(McGinnis & Goldstein, 1990), and Language Ability Test(Chang, 1981). Procedures included pretest, 14 weeks treatments and post-test. Data were analyzed by t-test. Results indicated significant differences in social play levels between the experimental and control groups, (b) including differences in such general social skills as emotional control and relationships with others. There were also differences in language ability, including such subordinates as language understanding and expressive abilities.

어머니의 양육행동과 교사-유아 친밀 관계 및 유아의 의도적 통제가 리더십에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Maternal Parenting, Teacher-Child Closeness Relationships and Effortful Control on Young Children's Leadership)

  • 본 연구는 어머니의 양육행동과 교사-유아 친밀 관계 및 유아의 의도적 통제가 리더십에 미치는 직 간접적인 영향을 경로분석을 통하여 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 만 4, 5세 유아 266명과 그들의 어머니와 담임교사를 대상으로 양육행동, 교사-유아 친밀 관계, 의도적 통제, 리더십이 측정되었으며 수집된 자료는 Pearson의 적률상관분석과 경로분석을 통하여 분석되었다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 리더십에 의도적 통제는 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 리더십에 어머니의 양육행동은 유아의 의도적 통제를 통하여 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 리더십에 교사-유아 친밀 관계는 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 의도적 통제를 통하여 간접적인 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타나 가장 큰 인과효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과로써 유아의 리더십에 의도적 통제와 교사-유아 친밀관계는 직접적으로 밀접한 관련이 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 교사-유아 친밀관계와 어머니의 양육행동이 리더십에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 의도적 통제의 매개효과가 확인되어 교사-유아 친밀관계와 어머니의 온정적인 양육행동은 유아의 의도적 통제에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 이는 리더십을 증진시킬 수 있음을 시사한다. 그리고 교사-유아 친밀 관계는 유아의 리더십 증진에 가장 중요한 요인이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

아동의 또래유능성에 영향을 미치는 변인 연구 : 어머니의 취업유무를 중심으로 (Variables Affecting Peer Competence of Young Children : Focus on Maternal Employment Status)

  • Instruments used in this study were the Peer Competence Scale(Park & Rhee, 2001), Infant Temperament Questionnaire(Chun, 1993), Emotional Intelligence Quotient Scale(Kim & Kim, 1998), Maternal Parenting Scale(Park & Lee, 1990) Parental Involvement Checklist(Cohen, 1989), and Student-Teacher Relationship Scale(Pianta, 1991). Subjects were 400 preschoolers and their mothers in Seoul. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results indicated that (a) children of employed mothers had higher peer competence than children of unemployed mothers. (b) Closeness in teacher-child relationship was the strongest predictor for peer competence of children of employed mothers; maternal strategies promoting peer relationships was the strongest predictor for peer competence of children of unemployed mothers.

놀이를 통한 부모교육 프로그램이 어머니-자녀 관계 증진에 미치는 효과 (The Effectiveness of the Parent Education Program through Play in Improving the Relationships between Mothers and Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of the parent education program through play to improve the relationships between mothers and children. The subject of this study consisted of 30 mothers with 4-7 aged child attending S-day-care center located in Ik-San. In order to examine the effectiveness of the parent education program through play, two groups were divided into 15 participants each. The experimental group participated in the parent education program for total 8 sessions(2 sessions per week over the 4 weeks) while the control group didn't. The instrument were 'Maternal Affection & Control Resources Scale developed by Cho, Bok Hee(1991) and 'Teacher-Child relationship Scale' by Pinata & Steinberg. Teacher-Child relationship Scale was modified to be appropriate for use with this program. Parental acceptance level was measured by modified Parental Acceptance Scale (P.P.A.S.) by porter(1954). The data were analyzed by SPSSWIN program. The statistical methods for data analysis were frequency, t-test. paired t-test. The main results of this study were as follows : First, the mothers who participated in the parent education program through play showed improvement in affectionate attitudes than before. Second, the mothers who participated in the parent education program through play have been improved in familiarity and have been decreased in conflict of relationships of mother-child than those who did not participated in. Third, the mothers who participated in parent education program through play improve the recognition on respect to children's emotion, emotional expression right, uniqueness of children's temperament and needs to children's independency and autonomy.

예비유아교사의 교사행복에 대한 은유분석 (Analysis of Metaphor for Teacher Happiness in Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the way pre-service early childhood teachers think about teacher happiness through metaphor analysis. Methods: A total of 225 pre-service teachers were selected from 4-year universities in the Gyeongnam area and open questionnaires were distributed to the participants. A total of 207 out of the 225 questionnaires were selected for the study. Results: First, based on psychological well-being, positive interpersonal relationship, self-acceptance, autonomy, environmental control, and life purpose were derived. Pre-service early childhood teachers typified teacher happiness into five types: positive interpersonal relationships, self-acceptance, autonomy, environmental control, and life purpose. Second, pre-service early childhood teachers perceived teacher happiness as positive. Third, pre-service early childhood teachers perceived interpersonal relationships, self-acceptance, and purpose of life as positive, while environmental control and autonomy were perceived as negative. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to improve the quality of teachers' education and to develop a program to raise positive awareness of future early childhood teachers. These study results can also be used as basic data for high quality teacher education.

교사-부모 관계에서 경험하는 유치원 교사의 어려움 (Kindergarten Teacher's Difficulties the Relationships between Teacher and Parents)

  • 본 연구는 유치원 현장에서 교사-부모 관계의 어려움을 살펴보고, 관계형성에 어려움을 주는 요소를 밝힘으로써 원만한 교사-부모 관계형성에 도움을 주고자 연구하였다. 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사-부모 관계에서 경험하는 유치원 교사의 어려움은 어떠한가, 둘째, 교사-부모 관계의 어려움에 대한 교사들의 자세는 어떠한가이다. 연구 참여자는 경상남도 C시에 근무하는 사립 유치원교사 15명으로 반구조화된 면담방식으로 실시되었다. 자료 분석에서 나타난 교사-부모 관계에서 경험하는 교사의 어려움에 대한 요인은 부모요인과 교사요인으로 분석하였다. 첫째, 교사는 부모의 성향과 요구에서 어려움을 느끼고 있었다. 또한, 교사는 교사 자신의 입장에서 해석함으로써 어려움을 느끼고 있었으며, 이 어려움은 같은 문제를 다르게 해석하는 교사-부모 간 입장 차이와 교사들이 문제 상황에 대처해 나가면서 느끼는 개인적 감정변화로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사-부모 관계의 어려움에 대한 교사들의 자세는 4가지로 나타났다.

원장의 서번트 리더십, 유아교사의 자아탄력성 및 조직몰입 간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Correlations among Director's Servant Leadership, Teacher's Ego-Resilience and Organizational Commitment in Early Childhood Education Center)

  • Objective: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the structural relations among kindergartens director's servant leadership, ego resilience and organizational commitment of kindergarten teachers. Methods: The subjects in this study were 387 kindergarten teachers working in B city. A director's servant leadership, kindergarten teacher's ego resilience and organizational commitment were assessed by a teacher-reported questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's product-moment correlation, and a structural equation model using the Bootstrapping method. Results: First, there were significant relationships among the variables analyzed in this research, namely, a director's servant leadership, kindergarten teacher's ego resilience and organizational commitment. Second, Teacher's ego resilience partially mediated the effect of a director's servant leadership upon kindergarten teacher'organizational commitment. Conclusion/Implications: Results suggest the importance of a director's role in the context of improving kindergarten teacher's ego resilience and organizational commitment.

교사의 전문성 인식, 유아의 성별 및 보육기간과 유아의 사회적 상호작용 행동 (Relationships between teacher's recognition of professionalism, child's gender, term care and child's social interaction behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze how teachers' recognition of professionalism and the child's gender and term care affect child's social interaction behavior. Participants were three-year-old 61 children and their 20 teachers. Each child was observed by the time sampling method of 20 sec-observation followed by 10 sec-recording for a total of 14 minutes. The teachers completed the rating scales to measure the teachers' recognition of professionalism. The study results show that, children engaged more frequently in individual behavior than in interactions with peers or with teachers in day care centers. And those children had more interaction behavior with their teachers than with their peers. Correlation between teachers' recognition of professionalism and children's social interaction behavior were as following: the more the teachers recognized professionalism, the more the children showed positive interaction behavior toward their teachers. Also, the more the teachers recognized the professionalism related to the job satisfaction, the more the children showed positive interaction behavior toward their peers. Boys interacted more negatively with peers and teachers than girls did. Children who attended the day care center more than two years showed less individual behaviors than others.

유아교사의 직무만족도에 대한 원장의 코칭리더십, 조직문화, 교사의 임파워먼트, 교사효능감 간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationships Among Directors' Coaching Leadership, Organizational Culture, Early Childhood Teachers' Empowerment, Teacher-Efficacy and Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 원장의 코칭리더십, 조직문화, 유아교사의 임파워먼트, 교사효능감 및 직무만족도 간의 구조적 인과관계를 파악하는 데 목적을 두었다. 유아교사 575명을 대상으로 자료가 수집되었으며 Pearson의 적률상관분석과 구조방정식모형 분석을 통하여 분석되었다. 그 결과 첫째, 유아교사의 직무만족도에 원장의 코칭리더십은 직접적 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 조직문화와 교사의 임파워먼트 및 교사효능감을 매개로 간접적인 영향도 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 직무만족도에 조직문화는 직접적 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 임파워먼트를 매개로 간접적 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사의 직무만족도에 임파워먼트는 직접적 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 교사효능감을 매개로 간접적 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유아교사의 직무만족도에 교사 효능감은 직접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 유아교사의 직무만족도에 원장의 코칭리더십이 가장 큰 효과가 나타났다. 이는 유아교사의 직무만족도 증진을 위하여 원장 코칭리더십의 강화가 필수적이며 조직문화와 교사의 임파워먼트 및 교사효능감의 증진도 중요함을 시사한다.

유아·성인 관계방식이 유아의 도덕개념 형성에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Adult-child Relationships on the Moral Concepts of Preschoolers)

  • The present study investigated the construction of the moral concepts of 3-, 4-, and 5- year old Korean children. Instruments were the Maternal Behavior Research Instrument by Schaefer for mother and feather nurturing attitudes, and the Domain Distinctiveness Model for children's moral judgments. Maternal and teacher attitudes were categorized by the affection-rejection factor consisting of affection-affection, affection-rejection, rejection-affection, and rejection-rejection dimensions, and by the permissive, -control factor consisting of permissive-permissive, permissive-control, control-permissive, and control-control dimension. Children's data were collected with an individualized interview in which children were asked to judge moral and social conventional transgression events. 30 children were assigned to each of the maternal/teacher attitude dimensions; thus, there were 120 children for each factor. Results showed that (1) the affection-affection cohort was must strongly related to moral rules using both the seriousness criterion and deserved punishment criterion, and (2) the permissive-permissive cohort was most strongly related to reasoning and action. However, this cohort did not break out of children's structural limitation (limited responses to the intangible).
