When the PCI 2.2 bus master requests data using Memory Read command, the target device my hold PCI bus without data transfer for a long time because the target device requires time to prefetch data internally. Because the PCI bus usage efficiency and the data transfer efficiency are decreased due to this situation, the PCI specification recommends to use the Delayed Transaction mechanism to improve the performance. But the mechanism doesn't fully improve performance because the target device doesn't blow prefetch data size exactly. In this paper, we propose a new method to transfer data efficiently when the bus master reads data from the target device. The bus master informs the target device the exact read data size using prefetch request using Memory Write command. The simulation result shows that the proposed method has the higher data transfer efficiency than the Delayed Transaction about 10%.
To investigate the optimum x-ray tube design for the dental radiology, factors affecting x-ray beam characteristics such as tungsten target thickness and anode angle were evaluated. Another goal of the study was to addresses the anode heel effect and off-axis spectra for different target angles. MCNPX has been utilized to simulate the diagnostic x-ray tube with the aim of predicting optimum target angle and angular distribution of x-ray intensity around the x-ray target. For simulation of x-ray spectra, MCNPX was run in photon and electron using default values for PHYS:P and PHYS:E cards to enable full electron and photon transport. The x-ray tube consists of an evacuated 1 mm alumina envelope containing a tungsten anode embedded in a copper part. The envelope is encased in lead shield with an opening window. MCNPX simulations were run for x-ray tube potentials of 70 kV. A monoenergetic electron source at the distance of 2 cm from the anode surface was considered. The electron beam diameter was 0.3 mm striking on the focal spot. In this work, the optimum thickness of tungsten target was $3{\mu}m$ for the 70 kV electron potential. To determine the angle with the highest photon intensity per initial electron striking on the target, the x-ray intensity per initial electron was calculated for different tungsten target angles. The optimum anode angle based only on x-ray beam flatness was 35 degree. It should be mentioned that there is a considerable trade-off between anode angle which determines the focal spot size and geometric penumbra. The optimized thickness of a target material was calculated to maximize the x-ray intensity produced from a tungsten target materials for a 70 keV electron energy. Our results also showed that the anode angle has an influencing effect on heel effect and beam intensity across the beam.

Recently, the demand for liquefied gas has been increasing for various reasons, including environmental problems, and as a result, transportation of liquefied gas through a ship is increasing, and several terminals are also being constructed to accommodate it. The size of the terminal to be constructed shall follow the result if the target ship is clearly determined. Otherwise, the size of the vessel that the terminal intends to accept shall be determined, and then, the dimensions of the vessel given in the regulations or standards shall be used. In this regard, it was found that the main dimensions of the proposed vessels are substantially different from those actually operating and the standard for large-sized vessels has not been established in the process of determining the size of the target vessel by using the "Port and Fishing Port Design Standards" and commentary(2017), which recently is most commonly used as port design criteria in order to construct the liquefied gas terminal. Because of these problems, a revision of the standard for the major dimensions of liquefied gas carriers was proposed through an analysis of the current status of ships in service, as there could be many differences between interested parties in determining the size of the target ships and terminals and evaluating the safety of terminals. It is expected that the proposed revision will be used as a more appropriate and realistic criterion for determining the size of ships and terminals in the future and will prevent unnecessary terminal construction costs.

To evaluate the suitability of the Weaponeering tool for the Surface to Surface Guided Missile at the Above-Ground Buildings, we analyzed the relation among SSPD, $MAE_{bldg}$, CEP and the number of missiles, expected damage etc.. According to the analysis, if the target Length is 100m, and $\sqrt{MAE_{bldg}}$ is longer than the target length, the tool is suitable but shorter than it, the tool is not suitable. So Morris Driels's Weaponeering Tool needs new adaptive algorithm to Translate as the Target size and $MAE_{bldg}$.

We analyzed through numerical simulations the properties of a square beam homogenizer near the target for laser shock peening. The efficiency was calculated near the target by considering the plasma threshold of the metals. We defined the depth of focus of the square beam homogenizer with a given efficiency near the target. Then, we found the relationship between the depth of focus for the laser shock peening and four main parameters of the square beam homogenizer: the plasma threshold of the metal, the number of lenslets in the array-lens, the focal length of the condenser lens and the input beam size.

In this paper, a strip modeling method is developed for the acquisition of target positions in remote area and validated using the imagery of SPOT satellite. This method utilizes the parameters given in header files and constructs a camera model without ground control points. In most cases, the root mean squared error of check points is less than pixel size with one ground control point. The model error of reference image is evaluated using ground control points and used to remove the model error of target images acquired along the same satellite orbit, which enables one to calculate target positions in remote area where no ground control points are available.

We investigated the properties of vanadium oxide (VOx) buffer layers deposited by a dual RF magnetron sputtering method under various target powers for inverted organic solar cells (IOSCs). Sputter fabricatged VOx thin films exhibited higher crystallinity with the increase of target power, resulting in a uniform and large grain size. The electrical properties of VOx films are improved with the increase of target power because of the increase of V content. In the results, the performance of IOSCs critically depended on the target power during the film growth because the crystalllinity of the VOx film affects the carrier mobility of the VOx film.

In this dissertation, in the light of the above situations, we intend to use new approach for stable and fast backup system. The approach that we propose network and software infrastructure has three different ways by comparison with existing network backup systems. First of all, we use a socket communication so that resolve the shortcoming of weakness of securities; second, TBD utility for minimizing target system loads in the way of instant operating; and third, time division and bandwidth division backup method considered transfer data size(byte) might be useful more stable and fast comparing with FTP Transfer.
Cu-Mn compacts are fabricated by the pulsed current activated sintering method (PCAS) for sputtering target application. For fabricating the compacts, optimized sintering conditions such as the temperature, pulse ratio, pressure, and heating rate are controlled during the sintering process. The final sintering temperature and heating rate required to fabricate the target materials having high density are $700^{\circ}C$ and $80^{\circ}C/min$, respectively. The heating directly progresses up to $700^{\circ}C$ with a 3 min holding time. The sputtering target materials having high relative density of 100% are fabricated by employing a uniaxial pressure of 60 MPa and a sintering temperature of $700^{\circ}C$ without any significant change in the grain size. Also, the shrinkage displacement of the Cu-Mn target materials considerably increases with an increase in the pressure at sintering temperatures up to $700^{\circ}C$.

Method a target estimation in spatial are mobile wireless communication using network cell and GPS. It have much error that mobile wireless communication depend on cell size. GPS method can't find a target in shadow and inner area. In this paper, we estimate a target as direction of arrival method using adaptive array antenna system. Adaptive array antenna system can obtain desired signal to remove other signal This paper studied digital beamforming method in order to estimation a target. Proposed method is modified optimum weight and antenna error correction to estimation an optimal receive signal. Digital beamforming method decided a signal phase and amplitude from received signal on array antenna element. But if it is not to do error correction of received signal, system performance have decreased. Firstly, we proposed modified optimum weight in order to finding desired target. Secondly, we are error correction of antenna incident signals by optimal weight before digital beamforming method. Thirdly, throughly simulation, we showed that system performance of proposed method compare proposal method with general method. It have improved resolution of estimation target to good performance more proposed method than general method.
