Design of the Position Control System for Parabolic Antenna using Gyro Sensor (자이로센서를 이용한 파라볼릭 안테나의 위치제어시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, the parabolic antenna aims to the precise location of a moving ship or car that can be designed system using the gyro sensor. The parabolic antenna has controlled by stepping motor that is a lot of noise and slow response of speed. It has solved the problem which is noise and slow response using the BLDC motor. Also, in order to suppress the noise two-axis control and a separate encoder to the six degrees of freedom motion system was implemented in a precise location. Generally, the gyro sensor is not required to system that doesn't move the six degrees of freedom motion system. But the system will be applied to the moving such as ships or cars. Finally, we presented the position control algorithm at the sometimes controlled both gyro sensor and BLDC motor. This system was tracking that the location of the antenna to the desired angle and errors almost didn't happen when the system was moved 6 degrees of freedom.

  • This paper analyzed the characteristics of the claw pole PM step motor by using 3D FEM. As the magnetization occurs along the z-axis of the motor, it is necessary to apply 3D FEM for analysis of the claw pole PM step motor. Considering the computation time, however, the number of the analysis model is minimized by using the "Design of Experiments(DOE)". By using the "DOE", efficient analysis was able to be done. To see the effects of the design factors, the 3D FEM is applied only to the selected models. As the design factors, the teeth shape, the number of turns and the permanent magnet overhang was selected.

  • This paper presents an optimum design, which is able to determine optimal geometric and electric parameters of Switched Reluctance Motor so as to fit respective operating conditions specified in various industrial fields. Those works describe an approach to maximize the average torque while keeping the torque ripple within 10${\sim}$100(%) of respective limited values. This optimum design is obtained by uniting an optimization algorithm of PQRSM to a time stepping finite element method.

  • This paper is a study on the implementation of speech recognition mobile robot to which the interactive speech recognition techniques is applied. The speech command uttered the sentential connected word and is asserted through the wireless mic system. This speech signal transferred LPC-cepstrum and shorttime energy which are computed from the received signal on the DSP board to notebook PC. In notebook PC, DP matching technique is used for recognizer and the recognition results are transferred to the motor control unit which output pulse signals corresponding to the recognized command and drive the stepping motor. Grammar network applied to reduce the recognition speed of the recogniger, so that real time recognition is realized. The misrecognized command is revised by interface revision through the conversation with mobile robot. Therefore, user can move the mobile robot to the direction which user wants.

  • An effective estimation method of equivalent circuit parameters of three-phase induction motor by using FEM is presented in this paper. Arbitrary three torque-speed points at asynchronous speed on the torque-speed curve are required by using time-stepping FEM, then the equivalent circuit parameters of IM can be calculated rapidly with presented method. After obtaining the equivalent circuit parameters, the general analysis method based on equivalent circuit can be used to get entire torque-speed curve very quickly. Although the purely numerical method such as FEM also can estimate torque-speed curve directly and accurately, however, usually this process is time consuming.

  • This paper is concerned with the development of remote control and measurement systems system using the internet. Recently, various techniques are developed based on the advance of the internet environment. In this study, we developed the remote control and measurement system using the internet server programming technique, stepper motor control and the data acquistion programming techniques. Hence, we can perform measurement and control remotely. The feasibility of the system is validated using the experimental setup. A personal computer is equipped with the stepping motor controller which control the weight and the A/D board which measures the strain of the beam, server program was then installed on the PC and can be accessed through internet.

  • A driving system of a dynamic FOG compass with a stabilized platform is described. A stepping motor adopted as a driving motor is required to maintain a stable operation with constant speed and low oscillation for the proper operation of the FOG compass itself. The previous stabilization scheme operated on frequency-modulated supply is modified to include fuzzy control algorithm. The proposed scheme has advantages, particularly in the size, weight and flexibility of the driving system.

  • In this paper, sun tracking system using Sun position sensor is proposed, the sun tracking system designed as which raises the efficiency of solar power generation. It design the structure being simple and it develops the system which is economical efficiency. It develops the hazard technique such as location tracking method of the sun which uses the sensor and to use the motor solar cell module movement. The Sun tracking system makes the drive in order to do with one axis and to use the sensor and to know in order to put out, the location of the sun and it makes. To make the solar location tracking sensor where the structure is simple it used two solar cells.

  • The electronic dispenser is composed of electronic part and mechanical part. Electronic part is consisted of input keypad, micro-controller, display module, and pump module. In this paper we designed micro-controller for electronic part. The micro-controller controls display module and pump module. The display module is composed by LCD device, and the pump module is composed by motor device. The micro-controller for an electronic dispenser is designed by VHDL. We used WX12864APl for the LCD device and SPS20 for the stepping motor. Also, the micro-controller is designed by Altera Quartus tool and verified with Agent 2000 Design-kit using APEX20K Device. In this paper, we present possibility to adopt of biotechnology field through designing of one-chip controller for an electronic dispenser.
