This study analyzed the effect of entrepreneurial competency on entrepreneurial intentions by using the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition as a mediator for middle and middle-aged office workers. The sub-variables of entrepreneurial competency are classified into management competency, technology competency, business competency and funding competency. 222 copies of questionnaires collected from middle-aged and elderly office workers residing across the country centered on the metropolitan area were used for empirical analysis. Based on a simple mediating model with singular mediator using SPSS v22.0 and PROCESS macro v4.0. was analyzed. As a result of the analysis, first, among entrepreneurial competencies, business competency and funding capacity were found to have a positive (+) significant effect on the entrepreneurial intentions, but management and technical competency did not have a significant effect. The higher the business competency and funding competency. Second, it was found that all of the sub-variables of entrepreneurial competency had a significant effect in the positive (+) direction on the recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities. It was confirmed that management competency has the greatest influence on the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and technology competence has the smallest effect. Third, it was found that the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition had a significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions. The discovery of an opportunity recognizing opportunities for start-up is a prerequisite for entrepreneur. Fourth, it was found that the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition mediates between the management competency, technological competency, business competency, funding competency, and entrepreneurial intention. It suggests that opportunity discovery by recognizing opportunities for entrepreneurship is a prerequisite for start-up. As implications of this study, it suggests that in order to inspire middle-aged and elderly office workers to start their own business, it is necessary to have indirect experience with education and to establish and promote a government support system for financing.. Second, It suggests that education on leadership and organizational management is particularly necessary to strengthen the opportunity recognition. Third, it suggests that the discovery of opportunities to recognize opportunities for start-up is a prerequisite for entrepreneur. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a manual and conduct training on opportunity search, recognition, evaluation, and utilization according to the stage of opportunity development. Fourth, it suggests that in order to strengthen the intention to start a business, ALso, it is necessary to manage both the entrepreneurial competency and entrepreneurial opportunities recognition at the same time. By presenting the practical directions that can be given differentially, we intend to contribute to the provision of practical directions and policy establishment for the promotion of entrepreneurial activities of office workers who can give vitality to the ecosystem.

Due to imbalances in supply and demand within the labor market, start-ups have emerged as crucial players in the generation of high-quality employment opportunities, particularly in stagnant job markets. In response to this trend, governments are allocating substantial financial and human resources to initiatives that support start-up development. This has led to an increasing rate of engagement in start-up ventures across diverse age groups, not limited to younger individuals. Start-ups are enterprises focused on the commercialization of innovative ideas with the aim of achieving profitability in the marketplace. Research concerning the successful market integration of new products and the attainment of sustainable growth is pivotal. Such research is instrumental not only for the success of start-ups but also for realizing the broader social functions and contributions that these enterprises can offer. Previous research has often examined new product market-entry strategies, often referred to as new product marketing, particularly for large companies and SMEs. However, there is a gap in studies focusing on prototype marketing strategies specific to start-ups. Thus, this study aims to examine the impact of Pre-announcing marketing strategies on the market attention garnered by start-ups with low recognition and limited infrastructure, and how such attention contributes to their sustainable growth. Specifically, the study aims to uncover the causal relationship between information attributes like relevance, vividness, and novelty in building customer relationships, and their impact on purchase intentions influenced by performance expectations and hedonic motivations. In terms of Pre-announcing information attributes, relevance, vividness, and novelty positively influence performance expectations and hedonic motivations as outlined in the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2). These factors, in turn, positively impact the purchase intention for pre-announced new products from start-ups. These findings are expected to provide both theory and practical insights into the factors influencing market entry through the use of Pre-announcing marketing strategies for start-up new products.

This study investigates regional financial markets and proposes some policy measures for boosting up the regional financial system. Financial supports for start-ups, small and medium sized enterprises(SMEs) in early stage growth have been constrained due to expanded financial gaps among regions during financial restructuring period. The bank consolidation through M&A is associated with widening financial gaps between Seoul area and others, and between regions where regional banks survives or not. Loans to small firms are associated with relationship lending techniques that may be better supported by smaller regional banks. The loan rate to SMEs in locals where regional banks are activated has tended to be 10%point higher than the locals where regional banks closed, and also drive the greater contribution for preventing local capital outflow and promoting local capital investment by local penetrating strategy. Government should develop regional financial policies to boost up regional financial system, and expand the business area of regional financial institutions for supporting start-ups and SMEs.
The start-up program of service company is able to give the positive effect to the job creation and growth but actually the rate of success for start-up program in service industry low and thus the effective support program is required. Recently, it is required that entrepreneurial spirit for success of start-up program in service industry. We examined entrepreneurial spirit between participation motivation in service industry. The results are as follows. As a result of survey for education program participant, it was found that 4 causes of Entrepreneurial Spirit such as innovation thought, market-oriented thought and art-oriented thought, management thought are all significant and especially, the effect of management thought showed somewhat high level in entrepreneurial spirit. Hereafter, this study may help to guide the motivation of preliminary entrepreneurs as food & beverage, restaurant business, retailer, other service industry.

This research aims to validate the effectiveness of the "Specialized Entrepreneurship University Program," which was conducted as part of government entrepreneurship support initiatives from 2018 to 2022. Based on previous studies, a research model was derived consisting of three laboratory entrepreneurship support factors that influence program satisfaction and entrepreneurial outcomes (infrastructure support, educational mentoring support, and business linkage support). Surveys were collected and analyzed from 126 laboratory entrepreneurship firms participating in the program, and empirical analysis of the research model was conducted using SPSS 23.0 statistical software. The analysis results indicated that the three variables, namely infrastructure support, educational mentoring support, and business linkage support, were significant factors affecting program satisfaction, and program satisfaction was confirmed to influence entrepreneurial outcomes. Furthermore, it was found that the three business operation factors indirectly influenced entrepreneurial outcomes by partially mediating program satisfaction. This study is considered significant as an empirical study for the initial stage of the second-phase program enhancement, verifying the effectiveness of laboratory entrepreneurship support factors. The findings can be applied to similar government entrepreneurship support initiatives and contribute to the effective strategy and planning of stakeholders involved. The limitations of this study include the need for further research on the perception of the extent to which it contributes to entrepreneurial outcomes, emphasizing caution in interpreting the research model, and the necessity for expanding the survey population and improving survey items in future research.
In this study, the effects of Venture Start-up's Technological Capabilities on Financial Stability and Possibility of Insolvency was investigated by use of SEM(Structural Equation Model). Technological Business Capabilities include CEO's Technological Capability, Management Specialization and the Feasibility of the Investment plan. The empirical data for this study were taken from the technology assessment data of Korea Technology Guarantee Fund(KTGF) on 1,419 Venture Start-ups from 2011 until 2012 and the financial data of the following 2 years of the sample. Venture Start-ups established within 7 years, were selected for this study's sample from viewpoint of their 'High-Risk High-Return' characteristic. The results are as follows : Manpower including CEO's Technology-related Knowledge and Experience, Management Organization's Technological Specialization and Cooperativeness, Reasonable Investment and Financing Planning etc. were proved to improve Financial Stability, and therefore reduce Possibility of Insolvency.
Collaborative Filtering (CF) suffers from two major problems:sparsity and cold-start recommendation. This paper focuses on the cold-start problem for new customers with no purchase records and the sparsity problem for the customers with very few purchase records. For the purpose, we propose a method for the new customer recommendation by using a combined measure based on three well-used centrality measures to identify the customers who are most likely to become neighbors of the new customer. To alleviate the sparsity problem, we also propose a hybrid approach that applies our method to customers with very few purchase records and CF to the other customers with sufficient purchases. To evaluate the effectiveness of our method, we have conducted several experiments using a data set from a department store in Korea. The experiment results show that the combination of two measures makes better recommendations than not only a single measure but also the best-seller-based method and that the performance is improved when applying the hybrid approach.
The study is analyzed that policy support impact on youth entrepreneurship and to purpose enhancing the effectiveness of the policy support, would like to empirical study on support performance by start-up support program through education level of the founder, performance of the establishment enterprises and an empirical study of start-up support. This study reported that start-up support should be different from impact of performance of support by young founder to participate in the success of entrepreneurship incubator package or preliminary young founders and is focused on study of policy support. Examines the literature of associated young founder's characteristics and entrepreneurship support policies at domestic and foreign, and the government's support policies in order to achieve the purpose of this study, survey research as the basis of the model was set. This study surveyed to university student which were trained nationwide entrepreneurship program in order to validate the research model. The survey targeted engineering students who is practical technology foundation possible during from June 1, 2012 to June. 15, 2012, the way of data collection was directly surveryed to engineering students who participated in the entrepreneurship program. and an empirical analysis were collected each 157 call.

Collaborative filtering, one of the most widely used techniques to build recommender systems, is based on the idea that users with similar preferences can help one another find useful items. Credit card user behavior analytics show that most customers hold three or less credit cards without duplicates. This behavior is one of the most influential factors to data sparsity. The 'cold-start' problem caused by data sparsity prevents recommender system from providing recommendation properly in the personalized credit card recommendation scenario. We propose a personalized credit card recommender system to address the cold-start problem, using multiple user profiles. The proposed system consists of a training process and an application process using five user profiles. In the training process, the five user profiles are transformed to five user networks based on the cosine similarity, and an integrated user network is derived by weighted sum of each user network. The application process selects k-nearest neighbors (users) from the integrated user network derived in the training process, and recommends three of the most frequently used credit card by the k-nearest neighbors. In order to demonstrate the performance of the proposed system, we conducted experiments with real credit card user data and calculated the F1 Values. The F1 value of the proposed system was compared with that of the existing recommendation techniques. The results show that the proposed system provides better recommendation than the existing techniques. This paper not only contributes to solving the cold start problem that may occur in the personalized credit card recommendation scenario, but also is expected for financial companies to improve customer satisfactions and increase corporate profits by providing recommendation properly.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data such as development of sustainable support policies and performance management evaluation to support sustainable management of domestic franchises by deriving the sustainable growth cycle of domestic franchises. Research design, data, and methodology: This study is based on systematic review study. We combined search terms such as "Start-up", "Sustainability" and "Success" with four databases, RISS, KISS, e-article and DBpia and searched a total of 1,219 articles published by April 21, 2021. In the process, 35 studies were selected and analyzed after an expert review, excluding documents whose overlapping documents, gray zones (e.g., reports, conference presentations, etc.), degree papers, foreign language literature, and dependent variables were not related to the Sustainability factors. Using ERIS model, which is applied to research on the results of startup, and the franchise's growth cycle, which reflects the growth stage of franchises, we analyzed the factors behind the sustainability of franchise. Result: The results of the study are as follows. First, research on the sustainability of franchise has continued since 2009 in Korea, and has been conducted in various fields such as social welfare in addition to venture, start-up and management. Second, sustainability factors of franchise were analyzed from the ERIS performance model indicating the performance of venture, and the 68 subfactors were derived. Third, it is confirmed that there are important factors that affect the sustainable growth of franchise startups in each franchise's growth cycle. Conclusions: It is significant that through this study, we provided better understanding of the factors that sustain sustainability of franchises, policy suggestions, and presented the direction of future study. Theoretical suggestion is that the main reason for the continuous growth of franchise in each domestic franchise is based on the ERIS performance model. The practical implication is that the headquarters and Franchisor can use it to establish and evaluate performance indicators based on the business growth cycle. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for development and performance management evaluation of franchise start-up support policies to support the sustainable management of domestic franchises.
