50 kHz Split Beam 데이터 수록 및 처리 시스템의 성능특성 (Performance Characteristics of a 50-kHz Split-beam Data Acquisition and Processing System)

  • The directivity characteristics of acoustic transducers for conventional single-beam echo sounders considerably limit the detection of fish-size information in acoustic field surveys. To overcome this limitation, using the split-aperture technique to estimate the direction of arrival of single-echo signals from individual fish distributed within the sound beam represents the most reliable method for fish-size classification. For this purpose, we design and develop a split-beam data acquisition and processing system to obtain fish-size information in conjunction with a 50-kHz single-beam echo sounder. This split-beam data acquisition and processing system consists of a notebook PC, a field-programmable gate array board, an external single-transmitter module with a matching network, and four-channel receiver modules operating at a frequency of 50-kHz. The functionality of the developed split-beam data processor is tested and evaluated. Acoustic measurements in an experimental water tank showed that the developed data acquisition and processing system can be used as a fish-sizing echo sounder to estimate the size distribution of individual fish, although an external single-transmitter module with a matching network is required.

  • The study is about the grading methods for the apparel CAD systems. So far the shift grading is used mostly in the industry. But the split grading has its advantage such as less data Input which is required for grading. So the research is aimed to prove that the split grading is not accurate than the shift grading and more efficient in speed, and to give the guidance of the split grading so that the split grading method can be applied in future apparel CAD systems more often. The results of the research were: 1. Split yarding produced graded patterns as accurate as shift grading. Yet split grading was more efficient and convenient because it required less data input than shift grading. 2. The 10 grading charts were grouped into 3 groups by the bust girth intervals, 3 cm grading, 4 cm grading and 5cm grading. 3. The grading areas were varied depending on the grament designs, gradre's skill and the grading intervals. 4. Guidance for the split grading was suggested.

사상체질 임상자료 기반 의사결정나무 생성 알고리즘 비교 (Comparison among Algorithms for Decision Tree based on Sasang Constitutional Clinical Data)

  • Objectives : In the clinical field, it is important to understand the factors that have effects on a certain disease or symptom. For this, many researchers apply Data Mining method to the clinical data that they have collected. One of the efficient methods for Data Mining is decision tree induction. Many researchers have studied to find the best split criteria of decision tree; however, various split criteria coexist. Methods : In this paper, we applied several split criteria(Information Gain, Gini Index, Chi-Square) to Sasang constitutional clinical information and compared each decision tree in order to find optimal split criteria. Results & Conclusion : We found BMI and body measurement factors are important factors to Sasang constitution by analyzing produced decision trees with different split measures. And the decision tree using information gain had the highest accuracy. However, the decision tree that produced highest accuracy is changed depending on given data. So, researcher have to try to find proper split criteria for given data by understanding attribute of the given data.

Spark 기반 공간 분석에서 공간 분할의 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison of Spatial Split Algorithms for Spatial Data Analysis on Spark)

  • 본 논문은 인 메모리 시스템인 Spark에 기반 한 공간 빅 데이터 분석 프로토타입을 구현하고, 이를 기반으로 공간 분할 알고리즘에 따른 성능을 비교하였다. 클러스터 컴퓨팅 환경에서 빅 데이터의 컴퓨팅 부하를 균형 분산하기 위해, 빅 데이터는 일정 크기의 순차적 블록 단위로 분할된다. 기존의 연구에서 하둡 기반의 공간 빅 데이터 시스템의 경우 일반 순차 분할 방법보다 공간에 따른 분할 방법이 효과적임이 제시되었다. 하둡 기반의 공간 빅 데이터 시스템들은 원 데이터를 그대로 공간 분할된 블록에 저장한다. 하지만 제안된 Spark 기반의 공간 분석 시스템에서는 검색 효율성을 위해 공간 데이터가 메모리 데이터 구조로 변환되어 공간 블록에 저장되는 차이점이 있다. 그러므로 이 논문은 인 메모리 공간 빅 데이터 프로토타입과 공간 분할 블록 저장 기법을 제시하였다, 또한, 기존의 공간 분할 알고리즘들을 제안된 프로토타입에서 성능 비교를 하여 인 메모리 환경인 Spark 기반 빅 데이터 시스템에서 적합한 공간 분할 전략을 제시하였다. 실험에서는 공간 분할 알고리즘에 대한 질의 수행 시간에 대하여 비교를 하였고, BSP 알고리즘이 가장 좋은 성능을 보여주는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

분할법에서 EMS알고리즘을 이용한 풀링분산검정 (Pooling Variance Tests Using Expected Mean Square in Split-Plot Designs)

  • The research proposes three ANOVA(Analysis of Variance) tests using expected mean square(EMS) algorithms in various split-plot designs. The variance tests consist of Never-Pool test, Sometimes-Pool test and Always-Pool test. This paper also presents two EMS algorithms such as standard method and easy method. These algorithms are useful to make a decision rule for pooling. Numerical examples are illustrated for various split-plot designs such as split-plot designs, split-split-plot designs, repetition split-plot designs, and nested designs. Pragmatically, the results are summarized and compared with popular ANOVA spreadsheets and data model equations.

Permutation Analysis of Split-Half Reliability Coefficient

  • In this paper, we describe a permutation procedure in which we compute a resampling probability value and empirical quantile limits for Split-Half measure of internal reliability. We use the Split-Half reliability coefficient given by two simple methods, the Spearman-Brown formula and the two-part coefficient alpha. The use of a permutation test for Split-Half reliability coefficient is highlighted as a valuable tool when the sample sizes are small and necessary assumptions cannot be met. The permutation tests for Split-Half reliability coefficient are illustrated with an example analysis of two survey data with a sample size of 15 and 35, respectively, and a hypothetical data with a sample size of 5.

이중 층상균열보의 자유진동해석 (Free vibration analysis of double split beams)

  • In this study, free vibration analysis of double through-the-width split beam is studied based on the author's earlier work. Each segment which constructs double through-the-width split beam is considered as Timoshenko beam. The effect of coupling between longitudinal and transverse vibration on the natural frequencies of split beams is considered. Data acquisition and modal test of double split beam for clamped-free boundary condition are carried out. Experimental and numerical results obtained by ANSYS were compared with the calculated data by present theory and their comparisons give good agreement with one another. The influences of the size and location of double split, shear deformation, and boundary conditions on the natural frequencies are demonstrated for illustrative purpose. Effects of double split on the dynamic characteristics of beams can be used to detect the size and the location of damages in structures.

건강보험심사평가원의 전체환자데이터셋(HIRA-NPS)자료를 이용한 정제의 분할 처방 현황 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Prescription for Splitted Tablet using the HIRA-NPS (Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service-National Patient Sample))

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze the status of split tablet prescription in South Korea. Methods: We conducted this analysis using 2016 National Patient Sample data from the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. We computed split tablet prescription rates by sex and age and determined which medicine and medical specialties had the highest split tablet prescribing rates. Results: The proportion of prescriptions that included split tablets was 15.6% (n=6,687,35). The proportion of prescriptions that included split tablets was higher for females (56.7%) than for males (43.3%), while that of prescriptions including split tablets versus total prescriptions for each sex was higher for males (16.4%) than for females (14.9%) (p<0.001). In the age group under 19 years, the proportion of prescriptions including split tablets (53.7%) was more than half of the total. The highest tablet splitting rate was found to be 89.9% for formoterol fumarate (40 ㎍), and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (60 mg) had the highest number of prescriptions. Pediatrics (65.6%) was the medical field with the highest rate of split tablet prescription. Conclusion: Split tablets were most prescribed to pediatric patients. To minimize the use of split tablets, it is necessary to develop lower dose tablets and establish a policy that promotes prescription of these lower-dose tablets.

  • 고력볼트 인장접합 형신인 Split Tee 접합은 접합부의 효율성과 시공성이 우수하여 유럽등지에서는 중저층의 건축물에 많이 적용되고 있으나 국내에서는 널리 사용되지 않은 상황이다. 이는 고력볼트와 Split Tee를 구성하는 판재의 강성에 따라 지레작용의 효과를 포함하는 보트의 인장 전단파괴와 Split Tee의 송성파괴가 상호작용을 일으켜 해석과 설계가 복잡하다는 점과 시공상의 정밀도 확보가 쉽지 않기 때문이다. Split Tee접합에 관한 연구는 미국, 일본, 유럽등지에서 다양한 방법으로 진행되고 있지만 국내의 경우 아직 초보적 단계에 머물고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실험을 통한 Split Tee접합부의 거동, 즉 지레작용의 영향과 그에 따른 반력작용의 특성을 파악하여 Split Tee접합 설계를 하는데 있어 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다.
