  • In the present paper, we further study the generalized fractional differintegral (integral and differential) operators involving Appell's function $F_3$ introduced by Saigo-Maeda [9], and are applied to the K-Series defined by Gehlot and Ram [3]. On account of the general nature of our main results, a large number of results obtained earlier by several authors such as Ram et al. [7], Saxena et al. [14], Saxena and Saigo [15] and many more follow as special cases.

  • The most of the design engineers for construction has academic background of bachelors degree. Theories for advanced composite structures are too difficult for such engineers and some simple but accurate enough methods are necessary. The senior author has reported that some laminate orientations have decreasing values of $D_{16}$, $B_{16}$, $D_{26}$ and $B_{26}$ stiffnesses as the ply number increases. Such plates behave as special orthotropic plates and simple formulas developed by the author can be used. Most of the bridge and building slabs on girders have large aspect ratios. For such cases further simplification is possible by neglecting the effect of the longitudinal moment terms($M_x$) on the relevant partial differential equations of equilibrium. In this paper, the result of the study on the subject problem is presented.

  • During the past four decades or so, due mainly to a wide range of applications from natural sciences to social sciences, the so-called fractional calculus has attracted an enormous attention of a large number of researchers. Many fractional calculus operators, especially, involving various special functions, have been extensively investigated and widely applied. Here, in this paper, in a systematic manner, we aim to establish certain image formulas of various fractional integral operators involving diverse types of generalized hypergeometric functions, which are mainly expressed in terms of Hadamard product. Some interesting special cases of our main results are also considered and relevant connections of some results presented here with those earlier ones are also pointed out.

  • In this paper we extend the two q-additions with powers in the umbrae, define a q-multinomial-coefficient, which implies a vector version of the q-binomial theorem, and an arbitrary complex power of a JHC power series is shown to be equivalent to a special case of the first q-Lauricella function. We then present several q-analogues of hypergeometric integral formulas from the two books by Exton and the paper by Choi and Rathie. We also find multiple q-analogues of hypergeometric integral formulas from the recent paper by Kim. Finally, we prove several multiple q-hypergeometric integral formulas emanating from a paper by Koschmieder, which are special cases of more general formulas by Exton.

  • In this work, we study the conditions between null geodesic curves and timelike ruled surfaces in dual Lorentzian space. For this study, we establish a system of differential equations characterizing timelike ruled surfaces in dual Lorentzian space by using the invariant quantities of null geodesic curves on the given ruled surfaces. We obtain the solutions of these systems for special cases. Regarding to these special solutions, we give some results of the relations between null geodesic curves and timelike ruled surfaces in dual Lorentzian space.

  • This paper explores the potential of Blockchain technology in enabling a panacea for health equity. Since Satoshi Nakamoto first described Blockchain technology in 2008 pseudonymous paper, that distributed ledger system is empowered and ranging from finance to law to another sector and beyond. Also impacting healthcare sector and life science. In other words, there are many usage cases being researched in healthcare and Blockchain has shown its considerable special side in recent years. But this paper aims to the distributed ledger that is the special side of Blockchain technology is potentially can panacea for some global health equity issues such as patient data, counterfeit drug and hospital payment management.

  • In this paper, we introduce new classes of post-quantum or (p, q)-starlike and convex functions with respect to symmetric points associated with a cardiod-shaped domain. We obtain (p, q)-Fekete-Szegö inequalities for functions in these classes. We also obtain estimates of initial (p, q)-logarithmic coefficients. In addition, we get q-Bieberbachde-Branges type inequalities for the special case of our classes when p = 1. Moreover, we also discuss some special cases of the obtained results.

  • In this paper, we formally introduce the notion of a general parametric digamma function Ψ(−s; A, a) and we find the Laurent expansion of Ψ(−s; A, a) at the integers and poles. Considering the contour integrations involving Ψ(−s; A, a), we present some new identities for infinite series involving Dirichlet type parametric harmonic numbers by using the method of residue computation. Then applying these formulas obtained, we establish some explicit relations of parametric linear Euler sums and some special functions (e.g. trigonometric functions, digamma functions, Hurwitz zeta functions etc.). Moreover, some illustrative special cases as well as immediate consequences of the main results are also considered.

  • The primary malignat melanoma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is extemely rare and accounts for only between 0.6 and 2.5% of the total 'number of malignat melanoma at all sites. In the nose, the left side is involved in 60% of cases and the most frequent site is the septum followed by the inferior and middle turbinates. In the sinuses, the maxillary sinus is the site of origin in 80% of cases, followed by ethmoid sinus. The tumors are sessile or polypoid, with variable color such as pink. white, brown or black. Of all tumors, 10~30% are amelanotic, requiring special stains for melanin. When primary site of melanoma is mucosal origin. treatment of primary lesion is often hampered by anatomic retrictions and large size, which results from the delayed diagnosis caused by their location. We report 4 cases of primary malignant melanoma of nasal cavity with review of literature.

  • A clinical evaluation was performed on 545 cases of the chest trauma those had been admitted and treated at the department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery in Chosun University Hospital during the past 11 years 5 months period from January 1978 to may 1989. Obtained results were as follows: 1. The ratio of male to female was 3.9: 1 in male predominance, and the majority[66.6%] was distributed from 3rd to 5th decade. 2. Nonpenetrating chest trauma was more common than penetrating about 4.6 times, and the most common cause of the nonpenetrating injuries was traffic accident[241/448, 53.8%] and of the penetrating injuries was stab wound[88/97, 90.7%]. 3. Only 79 cases[14.5%] were arrived to our emergency room within one hour after trauma. 4. The most common lesion due to trauma among these admitted patients was rib fracture[390/545, 71.6%], and the others were lung contusion[217/545, 39.8%], hemothorax[35%], hemopneumothorax[19.6%], and pneumothorax[11.8%] et al in decreasing order. 5. The associated injuries those required special treatment of other departments were 223 cases and its distributions were bone fractures[178/545, 32.7%], head injury[5.3%], and abdominal injury[6.6%]. 6. The others, but interesting chest injuries were follows: sternum fracture[3.1%], diaphragm rupture[2.6%], myocardial laceration and rupture[2 cases], bronchial rupture and laceration[2 cases], and traumatic thymoma rupture[1 case]. 7. The incidence of flail chest was 5.8%a[26/448] in the nonpenetrating injury, and the causes were multiple rib fracture which was in rows more than 4 rib fracture[20 cases], and sternum fracture[6 cases]. 8. We could managed the most of the patient with conservative treatment[43.1%] or closed tube thoracostomy[52.7%], but required emergency open thoracotomy in 64 cases
