Since their emergence in the 1960s, music festivals have attracted young people the world over with similar tastes, attitudes and styles. Now a worldwide phenomenon, music festivals such as Glastonbury in England, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain and Pentaport Rock Festival in Incheon, South Korea draw hundreds of thousands of attendees from around the world and have become a major event not only for music fans, but for trend forecasters who now chronicle what has come to be known as "festival fashion", which has several distinctive style markers. This paper provides a historical background of festival fashion, examines the phenomenon using fashion theory and discusses the controversies facing the music festival and festival fashion, in particular the role that sponsorship from major corporations currently plays as advertisers who want to get their products into the hands of influential festival attendees and allegations of cultural appropriation on the part of attendees. In conclusion, the future of music festivals and festival fashion as a category is examined.

For the development of solar thermal power tower plant from the early 80' to today, various kinds of receiver have been tested and evaluated. Most of 1st generation receiver used water/steam as a working fluid to operate steam turbine and now the first commercial solar power tower PS-10 also makes saturated steam. However, to increase thermal efficiency of storage system and to obtain practical use of solar energy, molten salt system have been used from THEMIS project in France at 1984. The Solar Tres plant of 17 MWe power generation will be constructed in Spain and have plan to operate 24 hours in summer. The air volumetric receiver system can be integrated with combined cycle of gas turbine and HRSG and also with steam turbine easily. Therefore, related researches to develop higher efficient solar power tower plant and to operate with stable are widely performed in the world.

The purpose of this study is to manufacture sintered lightweight aggregate for non-structural concrete using sewage sludge, organic waste matter is produced to a sewage treatment plant. It is tested for basic property and strength of artificial aggregate according to addition ratio of sewage sludge, and the results are compared with imported aggregate from Spain. As the results of experiment, the manufactured lightweight aggregate could be used for non-structural concrete. Also, it was favorably comparable to those of the imported aggregate. When it is manufactured with aggregate, it is safe environmentally because of protecting elution of harmful heavy metals.

Every year governments spend their national budget on public health in order to reduce financial burden of individuals on health. Although it has been widely believed that the increase of public expenditure on health decreases private health expenditure, it has not been proved by analysis with real data. For better understanding, we conducted an empirical study on the real data of 17 OECD countries-Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The panel Granger-causality test is used to verify the cause-and-effect relationship between the two expenditures. As a result, public expenditure on health has a 3 to 4 year-lagged negative effect on private health expenditure in the cases of the 16 countries except for the United States.

The best feature of Hotels is they have 24 business hours providing various services. But Interior designers can't change space to answer every demands, it's mood can be changed by lighting design. Especially guest rooms have complex functions like space with habitability and office use. Well planed lighting design in guest rooms is an essential element to help creating interior space in designer's intention with cozy feeling. Here this study is purposed to present a desirable lighting environment satisfying future-oriented function and design throughout the latest examples' analysis of guest room carrying out various functions in hotels.

The objective of this study is the competitiveness evaluation of oversea construction by country in order to provide preliminary data of government policy in 2013. In result the United States ranked first, followed by China(2nd), Germany(3rd), France(4th), and Spain(5th), while Korea ranked 7th overall. In particular, Korea's competitiveness in the construction infrastructures by country ranking(8th) was lower than the competency evaluation results of construction companies by country, therein ranking 7th.

This paper consists in a study of a new contructive sequence of road viaducts with Movable Scaffolding System (MSS) using numerical tools based on finite element method (FEM). Traditional and new sequences are being used in Spain to build viaducts with MSS. The new sequence permits an easier construction of one span per week but implies some other issues related to the need of two prestressing stages per span. In order to improve the efficiency of the new sequence by reducing the number of prestressing stages per span, two solutions are suggested in this study. Results show that the best solution is to introduce the 100% of the prestressing force at the self-supporting core in order to improve the road viaduct construction with movable scaffolding system by reducing execution time without increasing economic costs.

The oil consuming country, Korea is spending amount to 220bn barrel per day. It is higher-ranked as 8th country among oil consuming country. France, Brazil, Italia, Spain have recorded GDP than it of Korea. But, the oil consuming of Korea is more than it of them. The GDP of Korea is ranked 11th country, based on 2005. But Korea is higher-ranked as 8th country among oil consuming country. The new and renewable energy as alternative of oil is first measurement. But, the supply of new and renewable energy is inactive 2.13% among total energies. The economist prospects about 1bn job creation during the ten years through new and renewable energy. The merit of new and renewable energy is capital intensive and higher valuable industry.

As the value and role of intellectual property increases in our knowledge-based economy, countries around the world have exerted various efforts to secure, utilize, and protect their intellectual property. The present study diagnoses the level of IP infrastructure of major OECD countries and analyzes their characteristics and impact. According to the diagnosis, the US, Switzerland, and Germany form a leading group followed by the mid-level countries of Korea, Ireland, Australia, and France, with Spain and Italy in the bottom group. In contrast to Korea's competitiveness in S&T and R&D infrastructures, its competitiveness in IP infrastructure is lower than the OECD average. This is thought to be due to Korea's IP infrastructure being hastily formed under the influence of international pressures rather than having been gradually built up by internal needs. A TFP analysis of the impact of IP infrastructure on economic growth shows IP infrastructure positively influences economic growth. Though this analysis is limited due to inability to secure sufficient data and indicators, it is a useful guide for understanding the nature and key characteristics of IP infrastructure.

The aim of this paper is to research on the actual condition of Koreans' Spanish consonants pronunciation with an emphasis on describing the phonetic different of Korean speakers and Spanish speakers. 40 Spanish words were chosen for the speech sampling, and 10 Spanish majoring Korean students from Seoul or Kyunggi Province and 3 Spanish speakers form Castile, Spain participated in the interview. The most noticeable phonetic differences of Korean speakers' pronunciation comparing with Spanish speakers are abstracted as follows: 1) The voiced stops are pronounced voiceless or weak voiced. 2) The voiced stops are slightly aspirated. 3) The length of voiceless consonants is quite longer than the length of proceeding vowel. 4) Fricatives and affricates are somewhat fronter, and weaker in the degree of friction. 5) There is a strong tendency to geminate dental lateral /l/ such as 'pelo' and to vocalize palatal lateral /$\rightthreetimes$/ such as 'calle' 6) Unlike in Spanish speech flap $\mid$r$\mid$ and trill [r] are pronounced similarly in Korean speech.
