Social media has become an integral part of consumers' daily lives. Individuals connect with one another on social networking sites to like, share, and post information and experiences. As social media become popular among millennials, a growing number of fashion retailers use social media networks in the context of online commerce transactions. Accordingly, an increased number of fashion retailers has been using social media as an advertising tool and a retail channel. Despite the popularity of social media among millennials, empirical findings are limited to reveal factors associated with young consumers' intentions to use social commerce in fashion shopping. This study sought to examine factors affecting millennials' intentions to use social commerce in fashion shopping by adopting the technology acceptance model. A total of 524 college students completed an online survey in the U.S. The results of structural equation model confirmed that perceived ease of use, usefulness, and enjoyment had a positive impact on millennials' attitudes and intentions toward fashion shopping in social commerce. While both perceived ease of use and usefulness positively influenced enjoyment, usefulness had a stronger impact than ease of use. Compared to usefulness, enjoyment had much stronger impact on attitudes. Further structural model analysis revealed a direct, positive influence of perceived usefulness of social commerce on perceived enjoyment of social commerce, which has not been explored in prior studies. These findings provide theoretical and managerial implications.
The purpose of this study was to identify the individual, emotional, parent, and social environmental factors on career decision-making in multicultural youth. To this end, 1,146 multicultural adolescents who were enrolled in high school and whose fathers were Korean were selected as subjects of analysis as data for the 7th year of the Multicultural Youth Panel (MCAPS). As a result, first, it was found that self-esteem, which was an individual factor, and adaptation to school life and multicultural acceptance, which are social and environmental factors, positive effect career decision-making. Second, it was found that depression as an emotional factor and neglect as a parent factor had a negative effect on career decision-making. However, it was confirmed that stress as an individual factor, and parent-child communication as a parent factor did not affect career decision-making. These results are meaningful in that they provided basic data on how to deal with each factor and prevent multicultural youths from wandering in advance without deciding their career paths.
There are many questions about the sustainability and nurture of social enterprises as an important governmental issue in Korea. But because of the social system and the deficiency of experience about social enterprise, the solution of problems included in social enterprise are very difficult. For these reasons, the purpose of this paper is to find critical factors on social enterprise policy in Korea. For this study 30 experts who work in various fields in Busan about social enterprise was selected and 23 valuable questionnaires was collected. And AHP analysis suggests critical factors(public procurement and partnership with corporation and various organizations) on social enterprise policy in Korea. Objectives : This study was conducted to examine social factors associated with problematic drinking among middle- and older-aged men in South Korea. Methods : The data were collected from the baseline survey of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging, and the sample consisted of 3,631 men between 45 and 64 years of age and 1,173 men aged 65 or older. This study employed variables identifying various socioeconomic features, social ties, and health-related factors. Logistic regressions were used for the data analysis. Results : Middle-aged men having frequent social relationship with close persons were significantly more likely to be problematic drinkers than those having less frequent social relationships with close persons. Lower education, unemployment, smoking, and depression were associated with problematic drinking only among middle-aged men. Conclusions : We suggest that health professionals develop specific intervention strategies that could lead to more moderate alcohol habits and better health in middle aged Korean men who are actively engaged in social networks. In addition, health professionals need to focus more on the unemployed, lower educated, depressed, and smoking groups for early detection of problematic drinking among middle-aged Korean men.

Data were collected from January 10 to March 31, 2017 using self-report questionnaires. Abstinence self-efficacy, alcohol insight, unconditional self-acceptance, and social problem-solving ability were investigated. For data analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression were employed. Results: Factors influencing social problem-solving ability for men were unconditional self-acceptance and age. The explanatory power was 28%. Factors influencing social problem-solving ability for women were unconditional self-acceptance, stress, religiousness, age, occupation and abstinence self-efficacy and the explanatory power was 72%. Unconditional self-acceptance and age were significant variables of social problem-solving ability in both men and women. Stress, occupation, religiousness and abstinence self-efficacy were significantly associated with social problem-solving ability in women but not in men. New knowledge is created through the dynamic interaction of knowledge that depends largely on a social context within the organization. Social processes influence the nature of knowledge and learning. This paper is rooted in the concept of social capital. Social capital theory emphasizes the importance of social relationship. Using social capital theory, this paper suggests three factors that must be satisfied for the development of knowledge combinative capability. The first factor is that the opportunity exists to make the exchange or combination of knowledge. The second factor is that people is motivated for the creation of new knowledge. The third factor is that people must share the common knowledge. This paper examines the change case of KIPO (Korean Intellectual Property Office). This case provides evidence that the three factors can develop social relationship, and build knowledge combinative capability. The man finding from this research is that social factors play an important part in the creation of knowledge, and processes of knowledge exchange and combination heavily rely upon social patterns, practices and processes in ways which emphasize the value and importance of collective action and knowledge sharing. This research may have several implications for the development of the knowledge creation mechanisms.
