이변량 가우시안 Q-함수의 Craig 표현에 대한 기하학적인 유도 (A Geometric Derivation of the Craig Representation for the Two-Dimensional Gaussian Q-Function)

  • 본 논문에서는 기하학적인 관점으로 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수의 Craig 표현에 대한 새롭고 간단한 유도를 제시하고 있다. 또한, 이러한 기하학적인 유도는 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수의 또 다른 Craig 표현 식을 제시하고 있다. 새롭게 유도된 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수의 Craig 식은 2개의 상관 가우시안 잡음에서 직교좌표의 변환으로 생성되는 2개 웨지 영역의 기하학으로부터 새롭게 구한 것이다. 제시된 Craig 형태는 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수로 표현되는 확률을 계산하는데, 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다.

  • We define the Lie-admissible algebra NW$({\mathbb{F}}[e^{A[s]},x_1,{\cdots},x_n])$ in this work. We show that the algebra and its antisymmetrized (i.e., Lie) algebra are simple. We also find all the derivations of the algebra NW$(F[e^{{\pm}x^r},x])$ and its antisymmetrized algebra W$(F[e^{{\pm}x^r},x])$ in the paper.

  • In this paper, we consider the simple non-associative algebra $\overline{WN(\mathbb{F}[e^{{\pm}x^r},0,1]_{(\partial,\partial^2)})}$. There are many papers on finding the derivations of an associative algebra, a Lie algebra, and a non-associative algebra (see [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [12], [14]). We find all the derivations of the algebra $\overline{WN(\mathbb{F}[e^{{\pm}x^r},0,1]_{(\partial,\partial^2)})}$.

  • Kawamoto generalized the Witt algebra using F[${X_1}^{\pm1},....{X_n}^{\pm1}$] instead of F[x1,…, xn]. We construct the generalized Witt algebra $W_{g,h,n}$ by using additive mappings g, h from a set of integers into a field F of characteristic zero. We show that the Lie algebra $W_{g,h,n}$ is simple if a g and h are injective, and also the Lie algebra $W_{g,h,n}$ has no ad-digonalizable elements.

Airway management through submental derivation: a safe and easily reproduced alternative for patients with complex facial trauma

  • Objectives: Airway management in patients with panfacial trauma is complicated. In addition to involving facial lesions, such trauma compromises the airway, and the use of intermaxillary fixation makes it difficult to secure ventilation by usual approaches (nasotracheal or endotracheal intubation). Submental airway derivation is an alternative to tracheostomy and nasotracheal intubation, allowing a permeable airway with minimal complications in complex patients. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive, retrospective study based on a review of medical records of all patients with facial trauma from January 2003 to May 2015. In total, 31 patients with complex factures requiring submental airway derivation were included. No complications such as bleeding, infection, vascular, glandular, or nervous lesions were presented in any of the patients. Results: The use of submental airway derivation is a simple, safe, and easy method to ensure airway management. Moreover, it allows an easier reconstruction. Conclusion: Based on these results, we concluded that, if the relevant steps are followed, the use of submental intubation in the treatment of patients with complex facial trauma is a safe and effective option.

NOTES ON A NON-ASSOCIATIVE ALGEBRAS WITH EXPONENTIAL FUNCTIONS I

  • For the evaluation algebra $F[e^{{\pm}{\chi}}]_M$, if M={$\partial$}, the automorphism group $Aut_{non}$($F[e^{{\pm}{\chi}}]_M$) and $Der_{non}$($F[e^{{\pm}{\chi}}]_M$) of the evaluation algebra $F[e^{{\pm}{\chi}}]_M$ are found in the paper [12]. For M={${\partial}^n$}, we find $Aut_{non}$($F[e^{{\pm}{\chi}}]_M$) and $Der_{non}$($F[e^{{\pm}{\chi}}]_M$) of the evaluation algebra $F[e^{{\pm}{\chi}}]_M$ in this paper. We show that a derivation of some non-associative algebra is not inner.

  • This paper propose the method to produce GRM(Generalized Reed-Muller)expansion. The general method to obtain GRM expansion coefficient for p valued n variable is derivation of single variable transform matrix and expand it n times using Kronecker product. In this case the size of matrix increases depending on the augmentation of variables. In this paper we propose the simple algorithm to produce GRM coefficient using a single variable transform matrix.

  • Differential learning relies on the differentiated values of nodes, whereas the conventional learning depends on the values themselves of nodes. In this paper, I elucidate the differential learning in the framework maximum likelihood learning of linear generative model with latent variables obeying random walk. I apply the idea of differential learning to the problem independent component analysis(ICA), which leads to differential ICA. Algorithm derivation using the natural gradient and local stability analysis are provided. Usefulness of the algorithm is emphasized in the case of blind separation of temporally correlated sources and is demonstrated through a simple numerical example.

조선왕조실록(朝鮮王朝實錄)에 기재된 Kepler초신성(超新星)의 관측기록

  • Wangjo Silok, the official chronicle of Lee Dynasty, carries 131 records on the Kepler Supernova 1604; all of them are given in the present report. Among them 112 records are detailed descriptions about the observed brightness variation over the period from October 13, 1604 (the 37th year of King Sunjo) to April 23, 1605. On July 14, 1605, an addendum is given as a final assessment of the guest star incidence. Since the apparent brightness, size and position are carefully described as compared to bright planets and stars, these records are ideal for retrieving light curve of the Kepler Supernova over the seven month period. Simple procedures are suggested for the derivation of light curve.

  • This paper presents a simple method for estimating the maximum crosstalk noise of on-chip grobal wires. For the derivation of the maximum crosstalk expression we have modeled wires using lumped-elements that are composed of R, L and C. We have also used experimental constant to reduce the modeling error. The accuracy of the proposed method is verified by comparing against the HSPICE simulation results under the present process parameters and environmental conditions. The results of the proposed method can be used as an estimator in design-aid tools.
