In spite of decreased attention to digital divide, it has been pointed out as one of the main obstacles to realization of information society. At the outset, two conflicting explanations, optimism and pessimism, have directed their attention to objective basis of digital divide in common. They, however, have been neglected the fact that accessibilities can be varied not only by objective conditions but by subjective conditions such as individual recognition of necessity and willingness. Subsequent choices can be a crucial factor to determine whether to or not to access. In USA, over 50% of potential users determined not to access to the internet by their own will and choices. By the user survey on internet, 'do not feel the necessity' ranked the first reason not to use the internet in South Korea. The respondents who chose 'no time to use' tend to decrease but kept holding their shares, too. The relative importance of 'not to access' by individual choice have been increased. Whether the non-users of ICTs by choice is in or beyond the scope of digital divide, it evidently shows the necessity and importance of directing our attention to it on the way to information society.

The latest trend of our medical industry seems to have a raise on more expectation and interest in mystical therapeutics of herb medicine and its efficiency especially for the disease such as chronicity and other obstinacy that used to be impossibie to be cured with only Western medical treatment. potentiality of ideal medical treatment through interchanging of medical study between Eastern and Western is becoming an issue today. Herb medicine is our native ethnic medicine and is based on the friendly-nature and human oriented under one of the classification of natural medicine. The point of this medicine has a strong connection with the conceptional trait of Health-Care that is been newly paid a lot of attention in Western medical science. This 'Y'Oriental Medical Clinic Interior Design is to grant a new possibility of global recognition of herb medicine getting over from a limited ethnic medicine by correcting the existing problems and expanding its scope to a part of natural medicine and to newly establish its meaning as a space for Health-Care utilizing a concept of nature.

Despite various types of online social networks having different topological and functional characteristics, the kinds of online social networks considered in social recommendations are highly restricted. The pervasiveness of social networks has brought scholarly attention to expanding the scope of social recommendations into more diverse and less explored types of online social networks. As a preliminary attempt, this study examined the information-sharing patterns of a new type of online social network - unilateral (directed) network - and assessed the feasibility of the network as a useful information source. Specifically, this study mainly focused on the presence of shared interests in unilateral networks, because the shared information is the inevitable condition for utilizing the networks as a feasible source of personalized recommendations. As the results, we discovered that user pairs with direct and distant links shared significantly more similar information than the other non-connected pairs. Individual users' social properties were also significantly correlated with the degree of their information similarity with social connections. We also found the substitutability of online social networks for the top cohorts anonymously chosen by the collaborative filtering algorithm.

Many researchers and practitioners have paid much attention to identifying some critical factors for the successful implementation of the TPS, EDP and MIS. However, not much effort have been focused on the implementation issues of DSS which is different from TPS or MIS in terms of the scope of the system, evaluation criteria, decision types served, and level of users. Because of these differences, implemention of DSS should be planned and approached from different aspects of TPS, EDP and MIS. A conceptual model includes four characteristics as independent variables and three dependent variables such as system usage, user's satisfaction, and user's attitude. This paper is to empirically prove the usefulness of the model and to identify a model for the successful implementation of DSS in Korea. It will provide a better understanding of the variables associated with the successful DSS implementation.

With increasing competition, the engineering industry is in need of optimization of designs that would lead to minimum cost or weight. Recent developments in Genetic Algorithms (GAs) makes it possible to model and obtain optimal solutions in structural design that can be put to use in industry. The main objective of this paper is to illustrate typical applications of GAs to practical design of structural systems such as steel trusses, towers, bridges, reinforced concrete frames, bridge decks, shells and layout planning of buildings. Hence, instead of details of GA process, which can be found in the reported literature, attention is focussed on the description of the various applications and the practical aspects that are considered in Genetic Modeling. The paper highlights scope and future directions for wider applications of GA based methodologies for optimal design in practice.

Recently, the interdisciplinary linkage between engineering and social science has received an increasing attention as an emerging education discipline. Due to intrinsic complexity of innovation process and heterogeneity of disciplinary nature, however there exists little, if not no, effort to draw a common framework in terms of educational scope and contents of the new subject. This paper presents a number of criteria and guidelines for building up new educational framework by integrating engineering subject and social science subject. Specifically, three neo-disciplines, technology policy, technology management, and economics of technology are considered since it is postulated that the forementioned disciplines have established academic identity and fundamental structure By nature, this paper is an exploratory and seminal one. It is not the purpose of this paper to provide a concrete table of contents of educational material. Instead, it merely brings up a discussion topic for the wide audience of academic arena, leaving the gradual consensus and convergence as future task.

Recently, data analysis technology through artificial intelligence is attracting major attention in various industrial fields. In addition, with the increase in personal income, nowadays, the importance of heterogeneous leisure life is becoming more prominent. However, there is a problem that the tourism industry is not out of the traditional service framework. For the ultimate development of the tourism industry, it is time to provide more scientific and systematic tourism services. In this paper, various data analysis techniques in the field of computer science are applied to the field of tourism to realize next generation tourism services. To this end, the scope of this study is limited to the aviation service, and a natural ecosystem of the aviation industry for future-oriented services of aviation tourism that can improve the efficiency of aviation service gradually is established. The proposed method effectively solves the problems of traditional aviation services through data analysis techniques with artificial intelligence techniques in computer science. We expect that it will enhance the customized satisfaction of customers through personalized service and foster loyal customers in aviation companies through the method proposed.

In order to improve e-Trade service, this paper has deduced impeding factors after review of precedent research on e-Trade and analysis of e-Trade current status. Then an empirical analysis of whether variables deduced are detrimental factors to utilization of e-Trade service has been made on the basis of a research model and relevant hypotheses. The scope of e-Trade service indicated in this paper is limited to use of uTradeHub system. Analytical results for the improvement of e-Trade service clearly indicate that the higher the impeding factor to utilization of the system integration, logistics and customs clearance, marketing and users field, the more necessary the service improvement for invigoration of e-Trade service. However, foreign exchange field does not seem to require attention because SMEs have not active will to do electronic payment through the process of electronic documents.

Currently, there is a wave of second startup companies in Korea as well as within the global market, and the role of accelerators have become highly important at the center of changes. In the early 2000s, Y-Combinator has made Airbnb and Dropbox grow into a global company, and its start-up support model has begun to gain worldwide attention, and further became the beginning of the "accelerator" industry. The accelerator industry has been expanding rapidly throughout the United States, Britain and Israel, as well as China and Southeast Asia in recent years. As of the end of 2018, more than 130 accelerators have been operating in Korea, starting with Primer in 2010, and the scope of its activities has been expanding into specialty fields such as Pintech, bio industry, and Block chain, as well as Game. The purpose of this study is to study the role of the accelerator through the phenomenon of these accelerators and their step-by-step support services.

Small islands in humid and hot climates have received less attention development due to lack of resources and difficulties for in-situ construction. This paper addresses this problem by presenting a modular system for sustainable construction of a resort hotel in accordance with the international tourism standards, in addition to, minimizing undesirable effects on nature. This has been achieved by review of literature in the scope of off-site construction and identification of the natural geographical features of Herndurabi Island. According to the information acquired, a feasibility study and design practice have been conducted to achieve a reasonable solution to equip Hendurabi Island as a sample with a self-sufficient prefabricate resort hotel. Findings indicate that the volumetric prefabricated modules would be a solution to devising a framework for design and construction in remote regions.
