The purpose of this study was to provide a baseline assessment and relationship of nutrition attitude and food habit among mothers of middle school students. Eighteen questions were developed to test nutrition attitude and food habit test was used to reflect dietary behavior. The questionnare was mailed to a representative sample of nationwide middle schools, and was asked to be answered by mothers of one class' students. Usable questionnares were recieved from 4,694 participants of 99 schools. The mean score of nutrition attitude was 65.9 out of minimum possible score 18 and maximum 90. Nutrition attitude was weaker in the areas of control and self-efficacy than in intention and outcome-expectation. The mean score of food habit was 38.6 out of minimum possible score 12 and maximum 60. Food habit was weaker in the areas of protein, vitamins & minerals and dietary fiber than in the other areas. Nutrition attitude and food habit scores were lower among rural, manually working, lower educated and low-income mothers. There was a significant correlation between nutrition attitude and food habit(r=0.37, p<0.001).
The purpose of this study was to see the effects of a learning method of the multiplication play activities on improving the mathematical thinking ability and mathematical attitude of 2nd grade students in elementary school. We chose 19 students of the 2nd grade experimental group of D elementary school in the D city to conduct this research. The result of this study are as follows. First, Classes using multiplicative play activities have a positive effect on students' mathematical thinking ability. When analyzing transcripts and activities, students were able to think of strategies that could solve the problem according to the situation. Second, Classes using multiplicative play activities, in result of this they have positive effect mathematical attitude than using textbook in terms of attitude about mathematical subject and habits of study. In conclusion, the multiplication play activities are effective to improve mathematical thinking ability and attitude of second elementary school students. It can be a implication for the method of improving mathematical thinking ability and attitude.
This study explored the level and general propensity of consumption-oriented attitude and impulsive buying behavior of high school students, and clarified factors affecting impulsive buying. The research results can be summarized as follows. 1. The degree of consumption-oriented attitude and impulsive buying behavior of high school students were relatively low. 2. Consumption-oriented attitude was found to have significant differences among students based on monthly allowance, self-esteem, influence of friends, influence of mass media and influence of consumer education at school. Moreover, impulsive buying behavior was found to have significant differences according to sex, level of parents's education, fathers job, monthly household income, monthly allowance, influence of home, influence of friends and influence of mass media. 3. The impulsive buying differed significantly according to consumption-oriented attitude. That is, the group showing a higher degree of consumption-oriented attitude also indicated higher impulsive buying. 4. The variables affecting the level of impulsive buying behavior were the level of consumption-oriented attitude, influence of mass media, influence of friends and sex. In other words, consumption-oriented attitude, influence of mass media and influence of friends had a positive affect, and female students were more apt to impulsive buying than male students.

The objectives of this study were to investigate the differences in clothing and body attitude according to demographic variables, and to examine how clothing and body attitude were influenced by social values and demographic variable of adolescents. The questions of 5-point Likert scale were used for the evaluation of clothing attitude, body attitude, and social values. Four dimensions of social values were derived by factor analysis: 'the sense of estrangement', 'the satisfaction with school life', 'materialism', and' the sense of community'. Subjects were 373 adolescent girls in Seoul(182 middle school students and 191 high school students). The data were analyzed by using factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. First, the conformity to entertainers' dresses was influenced by materialism and age(-). Clothing aesthetics was influenced by materialism and allowance, and fashion was influenced by materialism. Second, the interest of plastic surgery was influenced by materialism and allowance. The interest of weight was influenced by the sense of estrangement, school grade(-), the education level of mother, materialism, and the satisfaction with school life. The interest of makeup was influenced by allowance, school grade(-), and the education level of mother(-). Appearance satisfaction was influenced by the sense of estrangement(-) and the satisfaction with school life. The present result means that social values such as materialism and the sense of estrangement are significant variables to understand the appearance attitude of adolescents.
This research aims to examine the influence of Korean high school girls' perceived family adaptability and cohesion on maturity with regards to career attitude. In order to verify statistically the research questions, Cluster Sampling with Stratification was conducted among high school girls in Seoul; a total of 670 questionnaire sheets were administered to 10th graders;and Multiple Regression was used for data analysis. Subsequently, the following results were obtained: a high school girl's perceived family adaptability and cohesion significantly influenced her maturity with regards to her career attitude. Particularly, the sub-variables such as democratism, participation, supportiveness, and unity of family adaptability and cohesion had significant relevance to career attitude maturity. In general, family adaptability and cohesion had an R square of 47.3% with regards to a female 10th grader's career attitude maturity.
The purpose of this study was to development the Animals-Understanding Program in city park with zoo for elementary school students, futhermore this study evaluated changes of elementary school students' attitude toward animals. The Animals-Understanding Program was consisted of 10 units which are as follows: structure and history of Dalseong Park, preparation before out-door learning, out-door learning in Dalseong Park 1 2, basic understanding of animals 1 2 3, male and female of animals, vertebrates and invertebrates, relationship between animals and human. According to the results of this study, the Animals-Understanding Program has an effect on students' attitude toward animals. More specifically, students' attitude toward antiutilization was not affected, their attitude toward knowledge about animals, psychological aspects of animals, and empathy for animals were definitely showing the effect.

Aad(Attitude toward an advertisement) was defined as cognitive responses and affective responses. This research analyzed it by multiple regression analysis after collecting a date from 265 customers who use 3 department stores selected The findings are as follows. First, Aad had a significance impact on web-site attitude across the department stores. Second, Aad had a significance impact on brand attitude across the department stores. Third, Aad had a significance impact on purchase intentions across the department stores. At the end of this paper, discussion, managerial implications, limitations, and future research directions were suggested.

The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the attitudes and images of middle school students toward invention. This aims to provide basic data on qualitative improvement invention education. The results of this research are as follows: First, as for middle school students, the level of emotion and interest attitude toward invention is higher than elementary school students. The image of invention is positive but difficult (M=3.70). Second, as the overall attitude to invention according to gender of middle school students shows a consistent invention attitude, the attitude formation on invention during elementary school time is found to be important. The overall image of invention according to gender is shown to be significantly different (p<0.05). Third, the overall attitude on invention according to the grade of middle school students does not show a statistically significant difference (p>0.05). As for the ranking according to factors on attitude depending on grades, cognitive attitude is followed by emotional attitude, attitude of interest, and practical attitude. The overall image of invention according to the grade of middle school students does not show a statistically significant difference (p>0.05). This is determined as a result of the large pressure acting on the study from middle school. Finally, the acts of invention such as idea, creation, imagination, creativity are considered as important as the results of analysis of the words of the invention. Invention is analyzed to contribute to developing new products, providing convenience in life, social development, usefulness in real life, and alleviating inconvenience.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify awareness, attitude and perceived competence about cardiopulmonary resuscitation in elementary school students. Methods: Data were collected from a convenience sample of 616 5th and 6th grade elementary school students in Korea during September and December 2008. A self-questionnaire was used to gather the data. Descriptive statistics, t-test, $x^2$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple stepwise regression with the SPSS program were used to analyze the data. Results: Among the items related to elementary school students' awareness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, artificial respiration was perceived at the highest rate (91.9%) and was followed by cardiopulmonary resuscitation, chest compression and airway management. The mean score for attitude 3.51, perceived competence 3.47. There was a positive correlation between awareness, attitude and perceived competence. Attitude and awareness were significant predictors and explained 57.5% of perceived competence about cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Conclusion: The results indicate the necessity of developing effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation education programs for elementary school students.
This study is an attempt to give basic information for sex maleducation, which is the integration of emotional, moral and social aspects as well as generative and physiological ones. It is concerned with both students and parents' sexual knowledge, attitude and need for sex education. The participants for this study are consisted of 193 parents, and 492 boys and girls high school students in Seoul. The main results of this study are as follows: 1. General Characteristics 66.5 percent of students is the girl and 38.8 percent of students is christian. Regarding parents age, 73.6 percent of them is 40~49 year old and 30.6 percent of them is Buddhist. 50.5 percent of them is graduated from high school, almost of them are keeping on being married(90.9%). 2. Sexual Knowledge: The boys score higher grade(average 8.98) than the girls. (average 7.51) (p<0.001) The Parents appear to record average 11.5, higher than the students' 8.01(p<0.01). However, there is no difference between them depending on their age, educational level or marital condition. 3. Sexual Attitude: The boys have more affirmative and positive feelings on the generative and physiological sides than girls. They also have a positive attitude to usual sides such as marriage, sexual intercourse and pregnancy, compared with girls. The girls have negative and irrecipient attitude to unusual sides like divorce, premarital sex or extramarital sex, while the boys are recipient(p<0.01). The parents' sexual attitude is positive feelings on the generative and physiological sides, and they also have a positive attitude to usual sides but they have a negative attitude to unusual sides. 4. Correlation between sexual knowledge and attitude Both the students and parents have positive correlation between sexual knowledge and attitude to generative and physiological sines and usual sides. The higher scores. of the sexual knowledge are, The more positive attitude they have. But parents only have positive carrelation between sexual knowledge and attitude to unusual sides. The lower scores of the sexual knowledge are, The more negative attitude they have. 5. More than half of the parents educate their high school children in sex: menstruation(75.0%), sexual hygiene (59.1%). intersexual fellowship(69.7%). marriage(62.0%) and chastity(51.9%) 6. Need for sexual education The students and the parents have almost the same opinions on this subject. Regarding pregnancy. delivery, family planning, dilatation and currettage and divorce, however, the students want to learn in high school. while the parents expect sex education later in high school.
