  • In Korea Small-medium Companies Constitutes 96.5% of all of the mining and manufacturing industries, about 35.7% of the total production of value added business, an average of 35% of the actual export of industrial goods and 47.6% of employment since present at the end of 1979. Now then Small-medium Industry Companies organization style constitutes 78.6% of a form of private company and 81.2% of the total on an small scale under 50 persons inregular employee. Specially, the trouble of business management of the mining and manufacturing Companies in Korea are constituted average 28.3% of production management ill the worst trouble of business management from 1973 to 1979 and small-medium industry Companies are the same of about more than 30% of production management in the trouble of business management. In this cases, the status of production management is effected by small-medium industry companies are the style of non-system and non-organization, but then 13parts in production management operations have the many trouble problems. In this circumstances a change for the better of production management operations in small medium industry companies are suggested the application effects and achievement points of production management, it is suggested a kind of variety and a small quantity, production management system of small-medium industry Company. And then Industrial Engineering technics is applied systematic route and the company grow more than better its physical condition for the improve productivity applied system approach for production management. • Korea is a peninsular country surrounded by seas on three sides, and the fishing industry has carried out the service of suppling to the people with important anima protein. The distribution of fishery products has very complicated structures, because the production is in charge of small producers scattering along the coast all over the country, while consumpstion is made by separate homes in areas away from producing district. The relation between these two factors the structures make very complicated. The most typical and special structures of fishery distridution are distinguished in two, that is, one is landing market, the other is inland market. Landing markets have been monopolized by fishermen's cooperatives, providing with landing facilities and building sites. Fish markets played not only an important role in the landing, but distribution and price determination of catches by auction or tender. Inland markets are two types of wholesale market in consuming center, one is the terminal market for urban consumers, the other type is the local market for rural consumers. Fundamental functions of landing markets are gathering, assessment, and distribution functions. Gathering function is in charge of wholesaler in fishery cooperative. Gathering amounts are equal to gathering capacity of wholesaler and transact ability of licensed dealers as shown below model. Gathering amount=f.gathering capacity(=pre price.landing facility.account of wholesaler.distance of fishing ground.conveniency purchasing.home port)=fㆍ transact ability of licensed dealers≒f.population or port, and table 1 indicates these relationship. Assessment and distribution functions are in charge of licensed dealers in consumption side. Assessment function should bring the value in production activity through the auction between the cooperative seller and the licensed dealer as buyer. For fair trade transaction in auction, the free competition is supposed to be a prerequisite among the licensed dealers. The ideal condition for free competition is sameness in the scale of buying amount by licensed delaers, but it is almost impossible to attain its goal in actual marketing.

  • The grain growth is very important because of its great influence on the various materials properties. Therefore, in this study, the effects of anisotropic grain boundary energy on grain growth in 2-D have been investigated with a large scale phase field simulation model on PC. A $2000{\times}2000$ grid system and the initial number of grains of about 73,000 were used in the computer simulation. The anisotropic ratio of grain boundary energy, ${\sigma}_{max}/{\sigma}_{min}$, has been varied from 1 to 3. As the anisotropy increased, the grain growth exponent, n, increased from 2.05 to 2.37. The grain size distribution showed a central plateau in the isotropic case, and was changed into no central plateau and the increasing population of very small grains in the anisotropic case, resulting from slowly disappearing grains. Finally, simulated microstructures were compared according to anisotropy.

  • Using monthly AVHRR-NDVI composite images, global vector data and statistical information, land cover change patterns in Asia during the major growing season (June, July and August) were analyzed for each country. Specifically, explanations on NDVI changes were developed at a regional scale emphasizing human impacts on ground vegetation. The annual mean change in each country showed NDVI-gain trends in high latitude areas and some parts of eastern China and northern/western India. On the contrary, NDVI-loss trends were distinctive in Japan, Korea, some parts of southeastern China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and some parts in southwestern/eastern India. These patterns largely coincided with socio-economic information reflected by human behavior. The NDVI change trends showed significant correlation with forest area changes. Also, a multiple regression model showed that the NDVI change patterns were significantly dependent on the changes in forest area and total population.

  • Purpose: This study explored the contribution of social support resources to the explanation of socioeconomic inequalities in depressive symptoms of older Korean men and women. Methods: Data were derived from Living Profiles of Older People Survey (LPOPS), which comprises a nationally representative sample of non-institutionalized Korean older adults living in the community. The data were analyzed by using multiple logistic regression. The sample consisted of 4,046 men and 6,036 women aged ≥65 years. The Korean version of the Geriatric Depression Scale-Short form (SGDS-K) was employed as an outcome variable. Results: Compared to the older men and women who were in higher socioeconomic status, those in lower socioeconomic status had significantly higher risk of depressive symptoms after adjusting for other covariates. When social support resources were individually included in the base model, each factor contributed to inequalities in depressive symptoms. Social networks explained about 20% of the differential impact of education and 10% to 15% of the differential impact of household income for depressive symptoms in men. Among women, it mitigated 23.6% to 39.0% of education and household income inequalities for depressive symptoms. Social participation contributed to buffer depressive symptom inequalities of 24.0% to 46.3% among men and those of 11.7% to 45.3% among women. Conclusion: Our findings suggest community care nurses acknowledge the value of social support resources to alleviate socioeconomic inequality in depressive symptoms among older men and women.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of breakfast characteristics of university students on their self-regulated learning, attentional control, and fatigue in order to provide-basic data for establishing desirable eating habits, self-regulated learning skills using attentional control, and advisable learning habits of university students. Method: The level of fatigue was estimated using the Visual analogue scale (VAS) and Critical flicker frequency (CFF). Attentional control was measured using the Attentional Control Questionnaire (ACQ) adapted by Yoon. Self-regulated learning was surveyed by the Self-Regulated Learning Test developed by Chung. Data from atotal of 142 university students were collected from November 30 to December 9, 2011. Result: 69% of the subjects skipped their breakfast. Attentional control has a negative correlation with fatigue (r=-.179, p=.033) and a positive correlation with self-regulated learning (r=.352, p<.001). The multiple regression model of self-regulated learning consists of attentional control (t=3.218, p=.002), commuting time (t=-3.076, p=.003), understanding the importance of breakfast (t=-2.413, p=.008), and skipping breakfast(t=-2.195, p=.030) and its R-square was 21.8%. Conclusion: Learning efficiency of university students should be improved by means of attentional control, which is related to self-regulated learning. Also, it is essential for university students to establish healthy lifestyles including regular eating habits and attentional control, in order to improve their self-regulated learning.

  • This study aims to investigate human capital in Korea's online game industry (as the representative of IT-based creative services) under the knowledge-based economy paradigm. In recognition of the importance of intellectual capital closely intertwined with human capital and the economic potential of the online game industry, Korean government has begun to show active support. In this context, this study measures the human capital efficiency in online game business by using non-parametric analysis (Data Envelopment Analysis, DEA). Most previous studies (human capital theory, knowledge based economy theory, economic growth theory) have proved that human capital has a very positive effect on sustainable growth of corporate management and wealth of nations. As such, this paper uses the DEA to obtain the efficiency of the human capital (scale, investment, education, compensation). The results of this study will suggest strategic implications on maximizing the human capital in online game corporations and provide a reference frame for government policies.

  • In this paper, the frost heaving and thawing characteristics of flexible pavement structure were evaluated in the large scale freezer which have a specification of temperature range $-20^{\circ}C{\sim}10^{\circ}C$ and $3.2m(L){\times}3.2m(B){\times}2.4m(H)$ in size. The insulated steel box with the size of $0.9m(L){\times}0.9m(B){\times}0.9m(H)$ was used to simulate actual pavement road structure. The variation of temperature, frost heave amount and frost heave pressure were measured through the instrument of TDS-602 data logger. LFWD (light falling weight deflectometer) was used to determine the change of deflection due to the frost heaving and thawing. Furthermore, the influence of aggregate layer to the freezing of the subgrade soil was studied to verify the function and effectiveness of the anti-freezing layer.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of oral health behaviors, depression, and stress on periodontal disease in pregnant women. Methods: The participants in this study were 129 pregnant women. Data were collected using questionnaires which included individual characteristics, oral health care behaviors, the Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression scale (CES-D), a global measure of perceived stress, and pregnancy stress. A dentist measured periodontal probing depth and classified stages of periodontal disease according to the Community Periodontal Index (CPI). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. Results: Periodontal disease had significant correlations with oral health care behaviors (r=-.56, p <.001), perceived stress (r=.44 p <.001), pregnancy stress (r=.37 p <.001), diet (r=-.33, p <.001) and depression (r=.18 p =.046). Factors influencing periodontal disease for these pregnant women were being in the 2nd (${\beta}=.27$, p <.001) or 3rd trimester (${\beta}=.45$, p <.001), having a pregnancy induced disease (${\beta}=.20$, p =.002), performing higher oral health behaviors (${\beta}=-.30$, p <.001), and having higher perceived stress (${\beta}=.17$, p =.028). The explanation power of this regression model was 61.6% (F=15.52, p <.001). Conclusion: The findings of this study indicated that periodic assessment of periodontal disease is essential for pregnant women who are in 2nd or 3rd trimester and have pregnancy induced diseases. Enhancing oral health care behaviors and reducing perceived stress are indicated as effective strategies to reduce periodontal disease in pregnant women.

  • Objectives: One of the most common complications of bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO) is neurosensory impairment of the inferior alveolar nerve (IAN). Accurate preoperative determination of the position of the IAN canal within the mandible using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is recommended to prevent IAN dysfunction during BSSRO and facilitate neurosensory improvement after BSSRO. Materials and Methods: This randomized clinical trial consisted of 86 surgical sites in 43 patients (30 females and 13 males), including 21 cases (42 sides) and 22 controls (44 sides). Panoramic and lateral cephalographs were obtained from all patients. In the experimental group, CBCT was also performed from both sides of the ramus and mandibular body. Neurosensory function of the IAN was subjectively assessed using a 5-point scale preoperatively and 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months post-surgery. Data were analyzed using Fisher's test, Spearman's test, t-test, linear mixed-model regression, and repeated-measures ANCOVA (α=0.05, 0.01). Results: Mean sensory scores in the control group were 1.57, 2.61, 3.34, 3.73, and 4.20 over one year and were 1.69, 3.00, 3.60, 4.19, and 4.48 in the CBCT group. Significant effects were detected for CBCT intervention (P=0.002) and jaw side (P=0.003) but not for age (P=0.617) or displacement extent (P=0.122). Conclusion: Preoperative use of CBCT may help surgeons to practice more conservative surgery. Neurosensory deficits might heal faster on the right side.
