The Mediating Role of Distribution Kahn's Engagement: An Empirical Evidence of Salesforce in Indonesia

  • This study aims to explore the role of Khan's engagement dimension previous study in mediating the relationship between work-life balance and in-role and extra-role performance of salesforce. To measure the data, a quantitative approach conducted through a survey of the sales force in the financial services industry sector in Makassar City, Indonesia. We determine the sample by using purposive sampling technique, and a total of 188 salesforce respondents. SEM-PLS with the second-order model was applied to test the measurement model and the mediator role of the engagement. The results show that the engagement dimension fully mediates the effect of work-life balance on both in-role and extra-role performance direct or indirect effect. the findings in this study also address the great concern of both individuals and organizations that the antecedents of the work-life balance variable are fundamental reasons for improving performance. The results of this study indicate that the work-life balance program positively influences engagement. Overall, we can conclude that commitment not only serves as a means for employees to fulfill formal job requirements. This can also encourage them to take action that goes beyond the precise requirements of their work by presenting them physically, emotionally, and cognitively in the work environment.

지표 에너지 수지에 미치는 구름의 복사 역할 (Radiative Role of Clouds on the Earth Surface Energy Balance)

  • In this study, the Slab Ocean Model (SOM) is coupled with an Atmospheric General Circulation Model (AGCM) which developed in University of Kangnung based on the land surface model of Biosphere-Atmosphere Transfer Scheme (BATS). The purposes of this study are to understand radiative role of clouds considering of the atmospheric feedback, and to compare the Clouds Radiative Forcing (CRF) come from the analyses using the clear-cloud sky method and CGCM. The new CGCM was integrated by using two sets of the clouds with radiative role (EXP-A) and without radiative role (EXP-B). Clouds in this two cases show the negative effect $-26.0\;Wm^{-2}$ of difference of radiation budget at top of atmosphere (TOA). The annual global means radiation budget of this simulation at TOA is larger than the estimations ($-17.0 Wm^{-2}$) came from Earth Radiation Budget Experiment (ERBE). The work showed the surface negative effect with $-18.6 Wm^{-2}$ in the two different simulations of CRF. Otherwise, sensible heat flux in the simulation shows a great contribution with positive forcing of $+24.4 Wm^{-2}$. It is found that cooling effect to the surface temperature due to radiative role of clouds is about $7.5^{\circ}C$. From this study it could make an accurate of the different CRF estimation considering either feedback of EXP-B or not EXP-A under clear-sky and cloud-sky conditions respectively at TOA. This result clearly shows its difference of CRF $-11.1 Wm^{-2}$.

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the effects of attitude toward fish eating, Health involvement and convenience on the relationship between fish consumption and age. A total of 235 questionnaires were completed. Structural equation model was used to measure the causal relationships between constructs. Results of the study demonstrated that the structural equation analysis result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The effects of age on involvement and convenience were statistically significant. The effects of age on attitude and consumption was not statistically significant. As expected, the involvement had a significant effect on attitude and consumption. The attitude and convenience had a significant effect on consumption. The effect of involvement on convenience was not statistically significant. Moreover, the attitude, involvement and convenience played a mediating role in the relationship between consumption and age. The involvement played a mediating role in the relationship between attitude and age. The involvement played no mediating role in the relationship between convenience and age. The attitude and convenience played no mediating role in the relationship between consumption and involvement.

  • This paper reviewed the relationship between job demands/resources and safety participation, and the moderating effect of safety self-efficacy. Based on the responses from 247 employees, the results of multiple regression analysis appeared as follow; 1) job demands factors(role conflict, role ambiguity and role overload) effect negatively on safety participation. 2) job resources factors(autonomy and social support) effect positively on safety participation. 3) safety self-efficacy moderates positively 3 relationships-between role conflict and safety participation, between role ambiguity and safety participation, between social support and safety participation.

간호사의 멘토링이 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 역할 스트레스와 소진의 매개효과 중심으로 (Effects of Nurses' Mentoring on Turnover Intention: Focused on the Mediating Effects Role Stress and Burnout)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the casual relationship between nurses' mentoring and turnover intention and to verify the goodness of fit between a hypothetical model and actual data in order to suggest an adequate model. Methods: The survey was conducted with 434 nurses working in general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected during February 2013, and analyzed with SPSS Windows 18.0 and AMOS 7.0. Results: Mentoring was found to have a direct effect on decrease in role stress. Role stress had a direct effect on increase in burnout and mentoring, with role stress as a mediator, there was an indirect effect on burnout. Burnout had a direct effect on increase in turnover intention, and role stress, with burnout as a mediator, and mentoring, through role stress and burnout, an indirect effect was found on increase in turnover intention. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that nursing managers should put effort into reducing role stress and burnout, while seeking to establish a more efficient mentoring system so that for nurses, there will be a lowering of turnover intention.

  • We aim to explain the role of corporate's 'long-term orientation' and 'asset specificity' in the process of SCM(Supply Chain Management) practices' effect on SCM performances, with empirical study about 167 manufacturing companies ail over the country. With confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model using AMOS program, we conclude long-term orientation and asset specificity act as 'infra-structural role', rather than 'Intermediate role', in the process of SCM practice's effect on SCM performances.

중년 여성의 성역할 갈등과 심리적 웰빙 간의 관계: 적응유연성의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Relationship between Middle-aged Women's Gender Role Conflict and Psychological Well-being: Focused on Mediating Effect of Resilience)

  • 본 연구는 중년 여성의 성역할 갈등, 적응유연성 및 심리적 웰빙 간의 관계를 분석하고, 성역할 갈등과 심리적 웰빙 간의 관계를 적응유연성이 매개하는지를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 만 40-65세 중년 여성 302명을 대상으로 2021년 7월 28일부터 8월 5일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 이 연구를 위해 한국 중년 여성에게 특화된 성역할 갈등 척도, 적응유연성 내적 요인 척도 및 Ryff의 심리적 웰빙 척도를 사용하였다. 매개효과는 PROCESS Macro 3.5 모형 4로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 중년 여성의 성역할 갈등은 적응유연성 및 심리적 웰빙과 부적 상관이 있었다. 중년 여성의 적응유연성은 심리적 웰빙과 정적 상관이 있었다. 중년 여성의 심리적 웰빙에 대한 성역할 갈등의 직접효과와 적응유연성을 통한 간접효과 모두 통계적으로 유의하여 중년 여성의 적응유연성은 성역할 갈등과 심리적 웰빙 간의 관계를 부분적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.

공군 조종사의 소명의식과 이직의도의 관계 : 역할갈등의 매개효과 (The Relationship between Pilot's Calling and Turnover Intention : The mediating effect of Role Conflict)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among Calling, Role conflict, and Turnover intention of Republic of Korea Air force pilot. Specifically, we examined the mediating effect of Role conflict on the relationship between Calling and Turnover intention. Survey data from 211 Pilots in R.O.K. Air force bases were analyzed with Structural equation model, using AMOS 21.0. Results are as follows. First, Calling had negative relationships with Role conflict and Turnover intention. Second, Role conflict had a positive relationship with Turnover intention. Third, Role conflict partially mediated on the relationship between Calling and Turnover intention. These findings suggest that Calling may play a critical role in Turnover intention and Role conflict of R.O.K. Air force pilot. Finally, we discussed the implications of these results, limitations, and research suggestions for the future research.

창업역량과 사회적 영향력이 창업의지에 미치는 영향력 (The Influence of Entrepreneurial Competence and Social Influence on Entrepreneurial Intention)

  • 직업 특성의 변화로 인하여 성인들은 고용, 비노동 또는 창업을 포함한 새로운 경력 선택을 해야만 하는 상황에 직면해 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 제2의 진로 선택을 목적으로 성인의 창업의지를 높이기 위한 창업역량, 사회적지지, 성공 창업 롤모델이 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 또한 창업멘토링의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구 방법으로는 선행연구를 바탕으로 연구모형과 가설을 설정하고 구조화된 설문지를 통해 연구가설을 검증하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 24.0을 사용하였으며, 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업역량 중 직무역량과 자금조달능력은 창업의지에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 창업 롤모델은 창업의지에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 창업역량과 사회적지지, 창업 역할모델과 창업의지와의 관계에서는 창업 멘토링의 매개효과를 살펴보면 직무역량→창업멘토링→창업의지, 자금조달역량→창업멘토링→창업의지, 창업성공 롤모델→창업 멘토링→ 창업의지에서 유의미한 매개효과가 있었다.

  • 역할 모델은 기업가정신 분야에서 오랫동안 많은 관심을 받아왔지만 대부분 연구는 서양 환경에서 주로 이루어져 왔다. 탐색적 수준에서 진행된 본 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 동양적 환경에서도 역할 모델의 역할의 유효성을 검증하는 것이 주목적이다. 이를 위해 역할 모델과 관련된 네 가지 가설을 수립하고 한국과 중국대학생들로 구성된 표본 440부를 이용하여 실증 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구는 그간 대학생들의 기업가정신 함양과 관련된 대부분 연구가 기업가정신교육의 효과를 살펴보는 것 위주로 진행되어 왔다는 점에 비추어 대학생들의 기업가정신 증진을 위한 역할 모델의 중요성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 검증결과 역할 모델은 한국과 중국대학생들의 창업자기효능감과 창업의도에 모두 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 또한 창업자기효능감은 대학생들의 창업의도에도 유의한 정(+)을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 역할 모델의 중요성에 대하여 서양 환경에서 검증된 연구결과들을 동양 환경에 적용하여 동일한 결과를 확보하였다는 점에 의의를 둘 수 있다. 또한 대학생들의 기업가정신 함양을 위해서는 기업가정신교육뿐만 아니라 역할 모델을 충분히 활용되어야 함을 보여주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 시사점으로 향후 좀 더 효과적인 대학생들의 기업가정신 함양을 위해서는 기업가정신교육과정에 역할 모델이 충분히 고려되어야 한다는 점을 제시하고 있다. 연구결과에 따른 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제시해 두었다.
