This research was conducted on 176 GVCs-related research papers listed in the Index of Korean Academic Writers. The analysis methodology used the keyword network analysis methodology of big data analysis. For the comprehensive analysis of research trends, the research trends through word frequency (TF), important topic (TF-IDF), and topical modeling were analyzed in 176 papers. In addition, the research period of GVCs was divided into the early stages of the first study (2003-2014), the second phase of the study (2015-2017), and the third phase of the study (2018-2020). According to the comprehensive analysis, the GVCs research was conducted with the keyword 'value added' as the center, focusing on the keywords of export (trade), Korea, business, influence, and production. Major research topics were 'supporting corporate cooperation and capacity building' and 'comparative advantage with added value of overseas direct investment'. According to the analysis of major period-specific research trends, GVCs were studied in the early stages of the first phase of the study with global value chain trends and corporate production strategies. In the second research propulsion period, research was done in terms of trade value added. In the recent third phase of the study, small and medium-sized enterprises actively participated in the global value chain and actively researched ways to support the government. Through this study, the importance of the global value chain has been confirmed quantitatively and qualitatively, and it is recognized as an important factor to be considered in the strategy of enhancing industrial competitiveness and entering overseas markets. In particular, small and medium-sized companies' participation in the global value chain and support measures are being presented as important research topics in the future.

Purpose: This study analyzed papers identified by entering the two keywords 'unification education' and 'university' during research from 2013 to 2022 in order to identify trends and key concepts in unification education research at domestic universities. Research design, data, and methodology: The study analyzed 224 papers, excluding those on primary, middle, and high school unification education, as well as unrelated and duplicate papers. The analysis included developing a co-occurrence network of keywords, utilizing topic modeling to categorize research types, and confirming visualizations such as word clouds and sociograms. Results: In the final analysis, the research identified 1,500 keywords, with notable ones like 'Korea,' 'education,' 'unification.' Centrality analysis, measuring influence through connected keywords, revealed that 'Korea,' 'education,' 'north,' and 'unification' held significant positions. Keywords with high centrality compared to their frequency included 'learning,' 'development,' 'training,' 'peace,' and 'language,' in that order. Conclusions: This study investigated trends and structures in university-level unification education by analyzing papers identified with the keywords 'unification education' and 'university.' The use of keyword network analysis aimed to elucidate patterns and structures in university-level unification education. The significance of the study lies in offering foundational data for future research directions in the field of unification education at universities.

'Consulting', which is the main research topic of the knowledge service industry, is a field of study that is essential for the growth and development of companies and proliferation to specialized fields. However, it is difficult to grasp the current status of international research related to consulting, mainly on which topics are being studied, and what are the latest research topics. The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of academic research related to 'consulting' by applying quantitative analysis such as topic modeling and statistic analysis. In this study, we collected statistical data related to consulting in the Scopus DB of Elsevier, which is a representative academic database, and conducted a quantitative analysis on 15,888 documents. We scientifically analyzed the research trends related to consulting based on the bibliographic data of academic research published all over the world. Specifically, the trends of the number of articles published in the major countries including Korea, the author key word trend, and the research topic trend were compared by country and year. This study is significant in that it presents the result of quantitative analysis based on bibliographic data in the academic DB in order to scientifically analyze the trend of academic research related to consulting. Especially, it is meaningful that the traditional frequency-based quantitative bibliographic analysis method and the text mining (topic modeling) technique are used together and analyzed. The results of this study can be used as a tool to guide the direction of research in consulting field. It is expected that it will help to predict the promising field, changes and trends of consulting industry related research through the trend analysis.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the trends in healthcare architecture research by analyzing papers published in KIHA (Journal of the Korea Institute of Healthcare Architecture) and HERD (Health Environments Research and Design Journal) in the USA. The analysis categorizes these papers into Evidence-Based Design (EBD) and non-EBD research from a comparative perspective. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted on 370 papers published in KIHA and 399 papers published in HERD from 2007 to 2022. The research trends were analyzed based on the researchers' fields of study, research focus, and research attributes. Results: The findings indicate that HERD involves researchers from 43 different fields, whereas KIHA involves researchers from 16 fields, indicating less diversity. HERD predominantly includes interdisciplinary and empirical studies, while KIHA primarily features theoretical and single-discipline studies. Papers in HERD generally demonstrate a higher level of evidence compared to those in KIHA. Implications: Direct comparisons should be approached with caution due to the differing contexts of healthcare architecture research in the two countries. The methodological efforts in HERD and the functional analysis results in KIHA provide valuable references for the future direction of healthcare architecture research. Expanding collaborative and interdisciplinary research involving various professionals is essential to advance the field.
The objective of this study is to review how researches on mathematics education are being conducted currently in Korea and overseas and to examine the current state of domestic researches on mathematics education from a broader view. Although many efforts have been made to understand trends in researches on mathematics education, there have been few in depth studies on research trends in overseas or for comparison between domestic and overseas trends. Thus, this study classified and analyzed 181 domestic articles between 2005 and 2009 in the journals and and 201 overseas articles in the journals and according to year, research area, research contents, school level, research method, and key words using the PME classification system with some modification. Through these analysis, we examined research trends on secondary mathematics education in Korea and overseas. The research findings are as follows. First, 'teaching learning process' was a spotlight area both at home and overseas, and 'realistic mathematics' and 'social cultural subjects' were not covered much either at home or overseas. 'Mathematical communication' occupied a very small portion in Korea but was a highly interesting area in overseas research. Second, research contents of interest were different between Korea and overseas. Research on general area was the mainstream. But geometry and statistics were mainly studied in Korea and algebra and analysis in overseas. Third, research related to middle school was twice more than that related to high school in Korea, But, research related to middle school was the same as high school in overseas. Fourth, qualitative research was the absolute majority both at home and overseas, and philosophical didactical analysis was used only in Korea. Fifth, the order of key words were problem solving - teacher - curriculum - creativity - textbook in Korea, but teacher - teaching - semiotic - affective factor - proo f- problem solving - technology in overseas.
The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends in scholarly journals that were related to the globalization of Korean food and to provide information on the future of these trends such as various creative subject selection and research methods. 70 papers pertaining to Korean food research, such as academic journals expected to be registered, and national-scale academic papers, were selected. This research was conducted from April 6 to April 22. 2009. The results of this study were as the follows: First, most of the papers, 20(28.6%), were published in the journal of Korean journal of food culture. In addition, most articles had a single author, 24(34.3%). In regard to the profession of the auther, university professor was the most frequent profession, 127 persons(68.3%). In terms of the research subjects, preference was the most dominant preference(19.2%). Investigatory research was the most frequent research method, 58 papers(82.9%). Furthermore, foreigners and natives were the most dominant research objects, 21 papers(30.0%). As for the analysis methods, frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, T-test, reliability analysis, and factor analysis were used the most in that order. Future studies should includ papers for master's degrees and doctorial degrees.

The purpose of this study is to find the research trends relating to flipped learning through keyword network analysis. For investigating this topic, final 100 papers (removed due to overlap in all 205 papers) were selected as subjects from the result of research databases such as RISS, DBPIA, and KISS. After keyword extraction, coding, and data cleaning, we made a 2-mode network with final 202 keywords. In order to find out the research trends, frequency analysis, social network structural property analysis based on co-keyword network modeling, and social network centrality analysis were used. Followings were the results of the research: (a) Achievement, writing, blended learning, teaching and learning model, learner centered education, cooperative leaning, and learning motivation, and self-regulated learning were found to be the most common keywords except flipped learning. (b) Density was .088, and geodesic distance was 3.150 based on keyword network type 2. (c) Teaching and learning model, blended learning, and satisfaction were centrally located and closed related to other keywords. Satisfaction, teaching and learning model blended learning, motivation, writing, communication, and achievement were playing an intermediary role among other keywords.

In this study, the author examined medical information management research trends in abroad and Korea from the perspectives of library and information science. LISA was used to collect research data in abroad from 2007 to 2010 (a total of 225 research articles). Korean studies were investigated using DBPIA to compare research trends. Content analysis results based on subject category show that research in abroad increased consistently and electronic resources and collection-related subjects were frequently studied. In Korea, the electronic resources and collection-related research proportion was also high, and much research was done in the areas of bibliometrics. However, medical information management researches did not increase in Korea between 2000 and 2010.
Objective: This purpose of this study was to analyze articles and research trends in children's free-choice activities in major domestic journals published from 1998 to 2017. Methods: Registered research papers in academic journals from 1998 to 2017 for the National Research Foundation of Korea were analyzed in terms of trends in their annual submission numbers, research subject, research type, research area. and research theme. Results: The quantity of the studies has more than doubled since 2010 but has decreased in recent years. Studies about free-choice activities for young children held the majority of research subjects while physical subjects such as literature, class, and education plans were in the minority. Furthermore, qualitative research, fusion qualitative, and survey were the most common research types while literature review studies were less common. Most research themes were studies about contemplation, actual conditions and perception, factor analysis, and programs of free-choice activities for young children. Conclusion/Implications: Considering the results of this study, further studies on free-choice activities for young children must be conducted.
Objective: This study was conducted to identify trends in teacher education research for early childhood teachers in Korea from 2013 to 2023, aiming to provide practical data for early childhood teacher education research. Methods: For this purpose, 62 articles published in Korean journals were analyzed according to the specified criteria. Through the analysis, we closely examined research trends, educational practices, and trends in educational program development. Results: First, both quantitative and qualitative research have been conducted steadily since 2015. The majority of participants were childcare center teachers, and numerous studies focused on program development. Second, among the trends in teacher education practices, many studies aimed to improve teaching skills. Third, concerning the trend of teacher education program development research, various research methods were utilized, with quantitative research being conducted in 2015, 2020, and 2022. Particular, regarding independent and dependent variables, numerous studies focused on enhancing teaching effectiveness and educational knowledge. Conclusion/Implications: Based on the results, we offer implications for the education policy field and related organizations, along with recommendations for enhancing the guidance and support of early childhood teacher education in program development and implementation.
