This paper discusses two problems with LR parsing with regard to constructing parsing tables with feature-based grammars. First, we show that traditional LR parsing methods suffer from nontermination and nondeterminism problems when they are applied to feature-based grammars. We then present an LR method for feature-based grammars that avoids both nontermination and nondetermisim by making use of partial information of a feature structure. Second, we describe the problem of adapting LR parsing to feature-based grammars with schematic rules (i.e., rules that do not contain enough information to construct parsing tables). To remedy this problem, we propose a rule inference algorithm which instantiates underspecified rules into more specified ones containing enough information.

It has been studied a lot to solve the problems concerning about the port management system in Korea. Since the international competitive power of port system in Korea is decreasing these days. This paper suggests that Port Authority should be given to the local government in order to not only properly meet the demands from worldwide change in port condition but also develop the major country which will lead distribution system of northeast Asia in 21th century. In this paper, I also acknowledge the following facts. 1. more power needed for local government to develop and manage port system 2. the harmony of port function and urban capacity needed in order to utilize the extending effect from port development.

Ulmi pumilae Cortex(bark of Ulmus pumila L.), oriental medicine, has been used for the folk remedy of the gastric diseases. In order to investigate antiulcer activities, some experiments for Shay, aspirin-induced and indomethacin-induced gastric ulcers were conducted. The water extract of Ulmi pumilae Cortex(UX) was given intraperitoneally, and the groups of UX 500 and 1,000mg/kg significantly inhibited Shay, aspirin and indomethacin-induced ulcers in rats.

TWe investigated whether work ability index(WAI) was highly correlated with work environment(physical work environment, working condition and work form) correlated high. The study population consisted of technicians from one manufacturing company in South Korea(n=104). WAI and work environment were analyzed by correlation and multiple regression. Therefore, we conclude that the correlation of WAI and work environment in this population was high. So if there are the older employees having a poor score on the items related to work environment, we can elevate the work ability by dealing with work environment. Moreover, we can make the best program to maintain and raise WAI in short term.

Ig Mo Cho (益母草) has been used as remedy for invigorating blood circulation to remove blood stasis and relieving edema by inducing diuresis. With regard to the botanical origin of Ig Mo Cho, it has been considered to be Leonurus spiecies of Labiatae, but there has never been pharmacognostical confirmation on it. To clarify the botanical origin of Ig Mo Cho from Korea, the anatomical characteristics of Leonurus japonicus and L. sibiricus were studied. As a result, the botanical origin of Ig Mo Cho from Korea was proved the herba of Leonurus japonicus.

To investigate the flow inside the centrifugal impeller, computer program which can solve Three-dimensional compressible turbulent flow has been developed. The Navier-Stokes equations were chosen as the governing equation for viscous flow while Euler equations for inviscid case. Time marching method was incorporated with the Flux Difference Splitting method suggested by Roe to capture the steep gradients such as a shock. For high order of accuracy, MUSCL approach was adopted while differentiable limiter to ensure TVD property. For turbulence closure, Baldwin- Lomax model was applied due to its simplicity. To demonstrate the capabilities of present program, several validation problems have been solved and compared with experiments and other available data. From the above calculations generally good agreements were obtained. Finally, the developed code was applied to Eckardt's impeller and the performance prediction was carried out. Some important aspects on boundary condition for successful simulation were discussed and the remedy was also introduced.

이 가이드는 골판지포장산업 현장 전문가 및 골판지 포장산업 관련 업체들의 도움으로 만들어졌으며, 골판지 생산 현장에서 나타나는 불량 및 문제들을 크게 네 부분 - 제판 시 문제, 인쇄 시 문제, 타발공정 상 문제, 완전공정 및 상자 봉합 시 문제등으로 나누어 각각의 원인과 대책을 설명하였다. 또한 이 가이드는 골판지 제조 공정에서 나타나는 문제(불량원인)등에 대한 명명, 정의 그리고 그 대책을 위한 기본적인 지식을 제공할 것이다. 그러나 현 골판지 제조 공정의 모든 문제점을 이 가이드에서 제공되는 방법으로 모두 해결할 수는 없을 것이다. 다만 이러한 정보를 바탕으로 더욱 완벽한 지식 및 기술의 축적이 이루어지고 그것이 널리 퍼져서 전체 골판지포장산업 발전의 밑거름이 되고자 한다. 이 가이드는 TAPPI에서 출판한 Corrugating Defect / Remedy Manual(6판)을 한국화학연구원 선입연구원인 성용주 박사가 맡아 번역할 예정이며 번역이 완료되는 대로 TAPPI와 저작권 문제를 협의하여 단행본으로 출판할 예정이다. 따라서 골판지 포장관련 종사자들의 관심과 애정 어린 충고를 부탁드리며, 조금이나마 골판지포장산업의 진일보된 기술의 발전이 있기를 기대해본다

Authentication is an important service in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) for an unattended environment. Recently, Das proposed a hash-based authentication protocol for WSNs, which provides more security against the masquerade, stolen-verifier, replay, and guessing attacks and avoids the threat which comes with having many logged-in users with the same login-id. In this paper, we point out one security weakness of Das' protocol in mutual authentication for WSN's preservation between users, gateway-node, and sensor nodes. To remedy the problem, this paper provides a secrecy improvement over Das' protocol to ensure that a legal user can exercise a WSN in an insecure environment. Furthermore, by presenting the comparisons of security, computation and communication costs, and performances with the related protocols, the proposed protocol is shown to be suitable for higher security WSNs.

Mismatch of electrical characteristics of modules in PV string invokes mismatch power loss. The mismatch occurs due to various causes such as shadow, aging, contamination, and module exchange. The concept of mismatch compensation converter(MCC) is presented in this paper to remedy the mismatch loss problem. MCC is connected to irregular modules only. MCC is composed of dc-dc converter and MPPT controller. It is noted that MPPT algorithm is employed to control MCC and is effective for maximum power available from irregular modules. The selection guide of MPPT control period is given based on the period of MPPT in PCU. The effectiveness of the MCC is verified by a prototype experiment.

Objectives : To identify the effect of Taeyeumjowee-tang on the treatment of obesity Methods : After having been fed a high-fat diet for 6 weeks, obese white rats were classified into three groups. Control group 1 was fed a high-fat diet for 2 more weeks. Control group 2 was fed a normal diet for 2 weeks. The Sample group was fed Taeyeumjowee-tang extract with a normal diet for 2 weeks. The result of the comparison among the three groups was as follows. Results : The Sample group decreased significantly as compared with the Control 1 and 2 groups in changes of the body weight, fat cell size, fat accumulation, insulin, triglyceride, total cholesterol, total lipid, free fatty acid and UCP1. Conclusions : Taeyeumjowee-tang has significant effect on the treatment of obesity resulting from a high-fat diet. Especially, it was a sure remedy for Control group 2 that was fed normal1y after having a high-fat diet.
