In this paper, we will find some recurrence relations of classical multiple OPS between the same family with different parameters using the generating functions, which are useful to find structure relations and their connection coefficients. In particular, the differential-difference equations of Jacobi-Pineiro polynomials and multiple Bessel polynomials are given.

Erlang-truncated exponential distribution is widely used in the field of queuing system and stochastic processes. This family of distribution include exponential distribution. In this paper we establish some exact expression and recurrence relations satisfied by the quotient moments and conditional quotient moments of the upper record values from the Erlang-truncated exponential distribution. Further a characterization of this distribution based on recurrence relations of quotient moments of record values is presented.

In this paper we establish some recurrence relations for both single and product moments of order statistics from a doubly truncated linear- exponential distribution with increasing hazard rate. These recurrence relations would enable one to compute all the higher order moments of order statistics for all sample sizes from those of the lower order in a simple recursive way. In addition, percentage points of order statistics are also discussed. These generalize the corresponding results for the linear- exponential distribution with increasing hazard rate derived by Balakrishnan and Malik(1986)

As pronouns are resolved with their antecedents, definite NPs may enter into the anaphora-antecedent relations with indefinite NPs. This paper is to provide faster and more efficient computational algorithms by which definite NPs are resolved effectively, For this purpose, this paper extends Chierchia's Binding Theory in Categorial Grammar, and definite NPs are resolved with their antecedents by similar algorithms that are used to reflexive resolution. In these algorithms, the relations between indefinite NP and definite NP are represented with λ-expressions, and definite NPs are resolved with their antecedent by λ-conversions.

This paper compares the moment-curvature relations of reinforced concrete columns subjected to various loading histories. A sectional analysis was proposed to predict the behavior of reinforced concrete columns. The proposed analysis predicted the real moment-curvature relations of reinforced concrete columns with good agreement. Four types of loading programs were adapted to the analysis. The analysed results indicated that the moment-curvature relations of reinforced concrete columns were strongly affected by the loading history.

We study the compact intertwining relations for composition operators, whose intertwining operators are Volterra type operators from the weighted Bergman spaces to the weighted Bloch spaces in the unit disk. As consequences, we find a new connection between the weighted Bergman spaces and little weighted Bloch spaces through this relations.

Abstract. In this paper, for $a{\in}C$, we investigate functions $g_a$ and ${\psi}_a$ associated with three term relations. $g_a$ is defined by means of function ${\psi}_a$. By using these functions, we obtain some functional equations related to the Eisenstein series and the Riemann zeta function. Also we find a generalized difference formula of function $g_a$.

In this paper, we obtain some recurrence relations for the quotient moments of the lower record values from the generalized extereme value(GEV) distribution. We also deduce some recurrence relations for the negative moments from the GEV distribution.

This study analyses the actual conditions and efficiency of supplier relations of If equipment industries of Korea. The fact-finding survey we conducted includes PCs, mobile phone handsets, and public switching equipments. The survey shows that there is room for improvement in the aspect of assignment of roles among suppliers in R&D activities.

Using the concept of closed queueing network, we present a consistent way of interpreting existing duality relations among queueing systems. Also, using embedded Markov chains, we present a few new duality relations for the queueing systems with negative customers.
