  • Although there are various cultural events and cultural contents produced in the region, there is a lack of distribution and spread of regional information to expand related economic consumption. This study combined local advertising by local advertisers with the knowledge search method in question and answer format from a location-based service perspective for the purpose of spreading and using local cultural information. The approach looked at domestic and international cases of knowledge search based on region and location-based advertising research, presented community model of location inquiry based information service and revenue model of local advertisement. Through this, this study designed a question and answer based community and operational structure model of local advertising, and developed an information service system in the form of prototyping. By extending the distribution of question and answer data among users to location information, it is meaningful that a business service model was presented that combines local cultural content information and the demand for user access with the revenue model of local advertising.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest strategies to improve and revitalize public small libraries established and operated by local governments among small libraries in Yangpyeong-gun. For this purpose, basic factors to be considered for the analysis of the current situation were derived by examining the policies and prior studies of small libraries. Based on these factors, the operation status of the public small libraries were analyzed, and interviews were conducted with the itinerant libertarians and staffs. As a result of the analysis, the main problems were the deterioration of a building, the lack of manpower and expertise, and the collection and program that did not reflect regional characteristics. In this study, we suggested a revitalization strategy such as improvement of the operating system, development of community-focused life-friendly libraries, reinforcement of manpower and expertise, development of book collections and reading culture programs with regional specialization, and establishment of community networks.

  • This paper is to take note of national, social and economic movement, social & economic publicness of religion surrounding Yeonggwang, Joennam around 1910s. At first I would like to look at this period because regional society was in the middle of change of large transition before and after Japan's forced occupation of Korea in 1910s and March 1st Independence Movement in 1919. In particular we focus on spatially Yeonggwang in Joennam because this area is not only called as advent area of Buddhism earlier but also is unique regional culture and ideological topology where Donghak, Protestantism, Catholic, Institute of Won Buddhism and etc. Through casting light upon the above, it is expected to offer one clue for the question of internalizing value to be sought for in the national and social and economic movement by Korean religion around 1910 and public goods in the strategy and tactics to be selected and further publicness and practice lying in their awareness and behavior. In particular it is thought to have advanced the accumulation of case study of Yeonggwang in Joennam with representative 'place-ness' related to this. Along with this it is considered that our challenge is to restore and casting light again on common foundation of existence shape and publicness of various religions in the middle of national and social movement and economic movement in Yeonggwang of Joennam area. In other words, we expect that religions will continue individual efforts and common practices to urge social justice for historic and public value based on common good encompassing historic value, in other words, individual responsibility and social justice among social and economic conditions originated from Japanese colonial era.

Examining at the status and operation condition, 13 facilities are scheduled to be built in Jochiwon by 2025, but many facilities have not yet been prepared for specific operation plans. Second, the possibility of sustainable operation is positively evaluated based on creating jobs and profits through connection with other facilities and the introduction of paid system. Third, administrative support is being provided in various aspects, but there was a regret due to the limitation of the budget. It is expected that the function of health/welfare and leisure/culture can be strengthened for sustainable operation, support in term of administrative support is needed, and support and management function can be strengthened by utilizing the urban registration support center.

  • The ways of preservation of chotkal which are classified by the principles of fermentation, are analyzed and interpreted. Chotkal is preserved mainly as two forms; one is chot and the other is shikhae. The fact that shikhae is preserved only in the eastern area can be attributed to two main reasons; (1) raw materials are available throughout four seasons and (2) relatively less production of salt. Chotkal is further classified into nine different ways of preservation and shikhae into fourteen. Regional characteristics for chot include that (1) in western part, Kechot is preserved in salty water (2) in central part Origuljot is fermented either with salt and powdered red pepper, or with salt, powdered red pepper and cooked cereal, (3) in southern part, freshwater shrimp with (1) salt only, (2) salt and powdered red pepper, (3) salt and cooked cereal, (4) salt, powdered red pepper and cooked cereal, (4) in northern part, fish with salt and powdered red pepper. Those for shikhae include that malt is used in southern part, shredded radish in northern part and cooked cereal more in southern part than in northern part.

  • Silk Road is the term involving all traffic roads connecting the East to the West, and ancient Korean culture has became globalized through Silk Road. In this paper, natural environment of Silk Road is considered as fundamental data in order to understand the Western culture introduced through Silk Road. Silk Road region is classified into Loess Plateau district; arid basin district; and high mountains district; Hesi Corridor(河西回廊) is the transition zone that the southeastern part of $W{\breve{u}}w{\bar{e}}i$(武威) is Loess Plateau district; other northwestern part is arid basin district Loess Plateau district, composed of homogeneous fines, has experienced dramatic soil loss by bringing under cultivation. At recent times, reforestation and construction of check-dam have been in operation to cope with this problems, Arid basin district; although at midlatitude, is desert climate because it is far from the ocean and is surrounded by high mountains. Oasis of Hesi Corridor is continuous linearly, but that of arid basin district is sporadic. In $H{\bar{a}}mi$ and $T{\breve{u}}l{\breve{u}}f{\bar{a}}n$(吐魯番) fruit-growing using karez flourishes, And glacier of $Ti{\bar{a}}nshian$(天山) Mts. and $Q{\bar{i}}lian$(祁連) Mts. is very important to arid basin district because of supplying water resource. In the tundra zone surrounding alpine glacier, are distributed widely solifluction lobes and earth hummocks.

  • To define the optimum conditions for the mass production of four antifungal Pseudomonas spp. isolated from soil, we have investigated culture conditions and effects of various nutrient sources on the bacterial growth and evaluated antagonistic activity against Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, plant pathogens. The optimum temperature and pH for the growth of these isolates were determined as pH 7.0 and $20^{\circ}$ or $25^{\circ}C$, respectively. Sucrose, tryptone, and $K_2HPO_4$ generally were more adequate for better growth as carbon, nitrogen and mineral source, respectively. The nutrient sources were also found to be very effective for high antifungal activities against R. solani and S. homoeocarpa. It was elucidated that YUD-F group (P. mandelii and P. fluorescens), which inhabit regions at relatively low temperature, had more broad spectrum and higher antifungal activity than YUD-O group (P. trivialis and P. jessenii) generally against R. solani and S. homoeocarpa. It is thought that the differences of the average temperature in the various habitats of Pseudomonas spp. influence the optimal growth temperature and antifungal activity. Especially, Pseudomonas spp. of YUD-O group showed the better antifungal activity against dollar spot caused by S. homoeocarpa, but showed relatively weaker antifungal activity against brown patch caused by R. solani.
