드릴링 작업의 모델링과 진단법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Modeling and Diagnostics in Drilling Operation)

  • The identification of drilling joint dynamics which consists of drilling and structural dynamics and the on-line time series detection of malfunction process is substantial not only for the investigation of the static and dynamic characteristics but also for the analytic realization of diagnostic and control systems in drilling. Therefore, We have discussed on the comparative assessment of two recursive time series modeling algorithms that can represent the drilling operation and detect the abnormal geometric behaviors in precision roundshape machining such as turning, drilling and boring in precision diemaking. For this purpose, simulation and experimental work were performed to show the malfunctional behaviors for drilling operation. For this purpose, a new two recursive approach (Recursive Extended Instrument Variable Method : REIVM, Recursive Least Square Method : RLSM) may be adopted for the on-line system identification and monitoring of a malfunction behavior of drilling process, such as chipping, wear, chatter and hole lobe waviness.

Adaptive System Identification Using an Efficient Recursive Total Least Squares Algorithm

  • We present a recursive total least squares (RTLS) algorithm for adaptive system identification. So far, recursive least squares (RLS) has been successfully applied in solving adaptive system identification problem. But, when input data contain additive noise, the results from RLS could be biased. Such biased results can be avoided by using the recursive total least squares (RTLS) algorithm. The RTLS algorithm described in this paper gives better performance than RLS algorithm over a wide range of SNRs and involves approximately the same computational complexity of O(N²).

  • In this study, an analytical realization of end-milling system was introduced using recursive parametric modeling analysis. Also, the numerical mode analysis of end-milling system with different conditions was performed systematically. In this regard, a recursive least square modelling algorithm and the natural mode for real part and imaginary one was discussed. This recursive approach (RLSM) can be adopted for on-line end-milling identification. After experimental practice of the end-milling, the end-milling force was obtained and it was used for the calculation of FRF (Frequency response function) and mode analysis. Also the FRF was analysed for the prediction of a end-milling system using recursive algorithm.

  • 인터넷 인구가 폭발적으로 증가하면서 인터넷 접속 관문이라 할 수 있는 DNS 정보의 위 변조시 엄청난 사회.경제적 피해를 양산할 수 있다. 그러나 DNS 정보의 보호를 위한 기존의 연구들은 현재 구축되어 있는 DNS 시스템 버전의 한계, 관리 부하의 증대 등으로 인하여 실세계 적용에 한계를 보이고 있다. 이 연구는 현재의 DNS 서비스 환경에서 DNS 정보에 대한 위 변조 공격 방법을 분석하고 독립적으로 DNS 정보의 오염 여부를 실시간으로 탐지할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 외부 공격에 의한 오염된 DNS 정보뿐만 아니라 정보 획득 시간이 오래되어 유효하지 않은 DNS 정보의 수정을 위하여 Recursive DNS에서 관리되는 캐쉬 정보에 대한 사후 검증을 통하여 Recursive DNS의 신뢰성을 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다.

강인 반복 제어를 이용한 비선영 유도탄 자동조종장치 (A Robust Recursive Control Approach to Nonlinear Missile Autopilot)

  • In this paper, a robust recursive control approach for nonlinear system, which is based on Lyapunov stability, is proposed. The proposed method can apply to extended systems including cascaded systems and the stability is guaranteed in the sense of Lyapunov. The recursive design procedure so called “robust recursive control approach” is used to find a stabilizing robust controller and simultaneously estimate the uncertainty parameters. First, a nonlinear model with uncertainties whose bounds are unknown is derived. Then, unknown bounds of uncertainties are estimated. By using these estimates, the stabilizing robust controller is updated at each step. This approach is applied to the pitch autopilot design of a nonlinear missile system and simulation results indicate good performance.

A CLASS OF MULTILEVEL RECURSIVE INCOMPLETE LU PRECONDITIONING TECHNIQUES

  • We introduce a class of multilevel recursive incomplete LU preconditioning techniques (RILUM) for solving general sparse matrices. This techniques is based on a recursive two by two block incomplete LU factorization on the coefficient martix. The coarse level system is constructed as an (approximate) Schur complement. A dynamic preconditioner is obtained by solving the Schur complement matrix approximately. The novelty of the proposed techniques is to solve the Schur complement matrix by a preconditioned Krylov subspace method. Such a reduction process is repeated to yield a multilevel recursive preconditioner.

ELASTOKINEMATIC ANALYSIS OF A SUSPENSION SYSTEM WITH LINEAR RECURSIVE FORMULA

  • This paper presents linear algebraic equations in the form of recursive formula to compute elastokinematic characteristics of a suspension system. Conventional methods of elastokinematic analysis are based on nonlinear kinematic constrant equations and force equilibrium equations for constrained mechanical systems, which require complicated and time-consuming implicit computing methods to obtain the solution. The proposed linearized elastokinematic equations in the form of recursive formula are derived based on the assumption that the displacements of elastokinematic behavior of a constrained mechanical system under external forces are very small. The equations can be easily computerized in codes, and have the advantage of sharing the input data of existing general multi body dynamic analysis codes. The equations can be applied to any form of suspension once the type of kinematic joints and elastic components are identified. The validity of the method has been proved through the comparison of the results from established elastokinematic analysis software. Error estimation and analysis due to piecewise linear assumption are also discussed.

재귀적 패턴과 거북 마이크로월드 설계 (Designing a Microworld for Recursive Pasterns and Algebra)

  • In this paper, we consider changes of algebra strands around the world. And we suggest needs of designing new computer environment where we make and manipulate geometric recursive patterns. For this purpose, we first consider relations among symbols, meanings and patterns. And we also consider Logo environment and characterize algebraic features. Then we introduce L-system which is considered as action letters and subgroup of turtle group. There are needs to be improved since there exists some ambiguity between sign and action. Based on needs of improving the previous L-system, we suggest new commands in JavaMAL microworld. So we design a microworld for recursive patterns and consider meanings of letters in new environments. Finally, we consider the method to integrate L-system and other existing microworlds, such as Logo and DGS. Specially, combining Logo and DGS, we consider the movement of such tiles and folding nets by L-system commands. And we discuss possible benefits in this environment.

  • FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter is well known to be ideal for the finite time state-space model, but it requires much computation due to its inherent non-recursive structure especially when the measurement interval grows to a large extent. And often a fixed-lag smoother based on the finite time interval is needed to monitor the soundness of the system model and the measurement model, but the computation burden of FIR-type smoother imposes much restriction of its usage for real-time application. Conventional recursive forms of FIR estimator[1]-[4] could not be used for real time applications, since they are numerically unstable in their recursive equations. To cope with this problem, we suggest a stable recursive form FIR estimator(SRFIR) and its usefulness is demonstrated for designing the real-time fixed-lag smoother on the finite time window through an example of detection of rate bias in the anti-aircraft gun fire control system.
