The convergence of adaptive algorithm depends mainly on the proper choice of the design factor called the covergence factor. In the paper, an optimal convergence factor involved in TRLMS algorithm, which is used to predict the coefficients of the ARMA predictor in ADPCM is presented. It is shown that such an optimal value can be generated by system signals such that the adaptive filter becomes self optimizing in terms of the convergence factor. This algorithm is applied to real image.

A new algorithm, CBIR (Correlation-Based Image Registration) was proposed to improve the resolution of image registration for PSP (Pressure-Sensitive Paint). The local displacement vectors were obtained by finding the displacement which maximizes the cross-correlation between two interrogation windows of 'wind-off' and 'wind-on' images. A recursive multigrid processing was employed to increase the non-linear spatial resolutions. The variations of image were precisely measured without identifying the control points.

In this paper, two adaptive exponentially weighted moving avenge control chart schemes which available for real-time are proposed. The weighting coefficient is estimated using a recursive kalman filter algorithm. Simulated average run lengths indicate the proposed schemes are sensitive to process shifts And their performance is comparable to CUSUM control chart and customary EWMA control chart.

In this paper, various equalizers are considered to improve the performance of Home Phoneline Networking Alliance (HomePNA) 2.0 system under dispersive channel with intersymbol interference. We evaluate and compare the performances of Recursive Least Squares (RLS) and Least Mean Squares (LMS) adaptation algorithms. Computer simulations show that the equalizers utilizing tile RLS algorithm outperforms the LMS algorithm, especially for the system of high symbol rate and complex constellation.

본 논문에서는 재귀 부분 구조 합성법을 이용하여 유체와 고체가 연성된 구조물에 대한 거동을 해석하였다. 이 방법은 일반적으로 널리 사용하는 랜쵸스 방법과 비교하여 몇 배나 빠른 계산 결과 시간에 문제를 풀었음에도 거의 동일한 해를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있다.

변환기의 해석 및 선계에 있어서 측정되어진 데이터로부터 그 변환기의 진기, 기계, 음향적인 특성변수를 추출하는 기술의 확보는 설계되어진 변환기의 검증 및 최적화를 위해서 필수적이다. 이와 관련한 기존의 방법은 측정방법이 번거롭고 그 결과 또한 많은 오차를 포함하고 있는 관계로 변환기의 정확한 특성변수를 추출하는데 어려움이 많았다. 본 연구에서는 전기음향변환기의 정확한 특성변수 추출을 위하여 기존의 방법과는 달리 Levy Method 반복적으로 사용하여 그 오차를 최소화하는 알고리듬을 개발하였다.

This paper considers the problem of robust H$\infty$ filter is derived by using the equivalence relationship between the FIR filter and the recursive filter, that would be guarantee a prescribed H$\infty$ performance in the continuous-time context, irrespective of the parameter uncertainty and unknown initial states.

This paper presents a genetic algorithm based autonomic movement algorithm for an autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV) and verified it to simulation. Also, developed program that can do simulation on two dimension and three dimension in seabed environment. The presented algorithm is applicable to a escape from the recursive search and a development of obstacle avoidance system.

This paper derives the algorithm to estimate the operating cost, its marginal cost, and the reliability indices for the long term planning of power system. Treating the load duration curve and the system in the stochastic sense takes the place of the inverted load duration curve, effective load duration curve, and the numerical integration in the conventional methods. The time and accuracy of computation are substantially improved due to the fact that all expressions are represented by simple analytic form instead of the existing recursive form.

The approximate overdetermined method is proposed for high resolution spectral estimation in case of short data record length or narrow band signal. And a new recursive AR parameter estimation is derived in the form of fast algorithm. For ARMA spectral estimation, two stage procedure is used in estimating ARMA parameters. First AR parameters are estimated by using the modified Yule-Walker equations, and then MA parameters are implicitly estimated by estimating numerator spectral(NS) coefficients.
