Auto-Detection of Stator Winding Fault of Small Induction Motor using LabVIEW (LabVIEW를 이용한 소형 유도전동기의 권선고장 자동진단)

  • In this paper, an auto detection method of stator winding fault of small induction motor is suggested. The Park's vector pattern which is obtained from 3-phase current signal by d-q transforming, is very good to detect winding fault. Comparing the Park's vector pattern of testing motor with its of healthy motor, the Park's vector pattern of fault motor is became an ellipse and the asymmetry is increased by the winding fault series. So for detecting the dis-symmetry, id-filtered function, Min-value, and Max-value are suggested for auto detecting. Using LabVIEW programing, 3-phase healthy motor and several kind of winding fault motors are tested and the test results are shown that the suggested method can gives us a possibility of an auto detecting winding fault.

Design and fabrication of film Bulk Acoustic Resonator for flexible Microsystems (Flexible 마이크로시스템을 위한 압전 박막 공진기의 설계 및 제작)

  • This paper reports on the air-gap type thin film bulk acoustic wave resonator(FBAR) using ultra thin wafer with thickness of 50$\mu\textrm{m}$. It was fabricated to realize a small size devices and integrated objects using MEMS technology for flexible microsystems. To reduce a error of experiment, MATLAB simulation was executed using material characteristic coefficient. Fabricated thin FBAR consisted of piezoelectric film sandwiched between metal electrodes. Used piezoelectric film was the aluminum nitride(AlN) and electrode was the molybdenum(Mo). Thin wafer was fabricated by wet etching and dry etching, and then handling wafer was used to prevent damage of FBAR. The series resonance frequency and the parallel frequency measured were 2.447㎓ and 2.487㎓, respectively. Active area is 100${\times}$100$\mu\textrm{m}$$^2$.Q-factor was 996.68 and K$^2$$\_$eff/ was 3.91%.

Modeling Aided Lead Design of FAK Inhibitors

  • Focal adhesion kinase (FAK) is a potential target for the treatment of primary cancers as well as prevention of tumor metastasis. To understand the structural and chemical features of FAK inhibitors, we report comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) for the series of 7H-pyrrolo(2,3-d)pyrimidines. The CoMFA models showed good correlation between the actual and predicted values for training set molecules. Our results indicated the ligand-based alignment has produced better statistical results for CoMFA ($q^2$ = 0.505, $r^2$ = 0.950). Both models were validated using test set compounds, and gave good predictive values of 0.537. The statistical parameters from the generated 3D-QSAR models were indicated that the data are well fitted and have high predictive ability. The contour map from 3D-QSAR models explains nicely the structure-activity relationships of FAK inhibitors and our results would give proper guidelines to further enhance the activity of novel inhibitors.

Comparative Molecular Similarity Indices Analysis of Caspase-3 Inhibitors

  • Caspases, a family of cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteases plays a central role in the regulation and the execution of apoptotic cell death. Activation of caspases-3 stimulates a signaling pathway that ultimately leads to the death of the cell. Hence, caspase-3 has been proven to be an effective target for reducing the amount of cellular and tissue damage. In this work, comparative molecular similarity indices analysis (CoMSIA) was performed on a series of 3,4-dihydropyrimidoindolones derivatives which are inhibitors of caspase-3. The best predictions were obtained for CoMSIA model ($q^2$ = 0.586, $r^2$ = 0.955). The predictive ability of test set ($r^2_{pred}$) was 0.723. Statistical parameters from the generated QSAR models indicated the data is well fitted and have high predictive ability. Our theoretical results could be useful to design novel and more potent caspase-3 derivatives.

  • A series of new diarylureas possessing aminoisoquinoline scaffold was synthesized, and their in vitro antiproliferative activity against A375P human melanoma cell line was tested. Compounds 1d, 1l, 1n, 1p, 1q, and 1t showed superior potency against A375P to Sorafenib. The highest potency was shown by compound 1p possessing 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl terminal ring with $IC_{50}$ value of $0.41{\mu}M$.

  • In this paper, the bit error rate (BER) performance of the fast frequency hopping/M-ary frequency shift keying system using the clipper receiver is analyzed by using the characteristic function (CF) technique in the presence of n=1 band multitone jamming and additive white Gaussian noise environment. The CFs of the clipper receiver outputs are derived as a infinite series representation using Gamma function and Marcum's Q -function. The analytical results are validated with various simulation results. Performance comparisons with linear combining receiver are shown that the BER performance of the clipper receiver is much better than that of the linear combining receiver In addition, as the clipping level approaches to infinity, it is shown that the clipper receiver simply performs a linear combining without clipping and there exists an optimum value of diversity level (the number of hops per symbol) that maximizes the worst case BER performance of the clipper receiver.

  • 이 논문은 Single-stage로 구현한 전기 오토바이용 배터리 완속 충전기를 제안한다. 전기 오토바이용 배터리 완속 충전기는 상용전원을 입력으로 사용하므로 $110V_{ac}$$220V_{ac}$에서 사용이 가능하며 역률 보정이 고려되어야 한다. 일반적으로 역률 개선(Power Factor Correction : PFC)를 담당하는 AC/DC 컨버터와 DC/DC단의 2단 구성의 충전기 구조가 일반적이나, 이를 기존 이단구조의 복잡한 시스템을 단일 전력단으로 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 전기 오토바이용 2KW급 SRC single-stage 공진형 컨버터를 설계하고 실험 검증하였다.

Comparative Molecular Similarity Indices Analysis of CXCR-2 Inhibitors

  • CXC chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2) is a prominent chemokine receptor on neutrophils and it regulates the neutrophilic inflammation in the lung diseases. CXCR2 antagonist may reduce the neutrophil chemotaxis and alter the inflammatory response. Hence, in the present study, ligand based Comparative Molecular Similar Indices Analysis (CoMSIA) was performed on a series of CXCR2 antagonist named pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile-6-alkyl derivatives. The optimum CoMSIA model was obtained with statistically significant cross-validated coefficients ($q^2$) of 0.582 and conventional coefficients ($r^2$) of 0.987 with steric, electrostatic, hydrophobic, donor and acceptor fields. The contour maps suggest the important structural modifications and this study can be used to guide the development of potent CXCR2 antagonist.

  • Most systems in tile real world are non-linear and can be represented by the non-linear autoregressive moving average (NARMA) model. The extension of fuzzy system for modeling the system that is represented by NARMA model will be proposed in this paper. Here, fuzzy basis function (FBF) is used as fuzzy NARMA(p,q) model. Then, an approach to Identify fuzzy NARMA models based on fuzzy basis functions is proposed. The efficacy of the proposed approach is shown from experimental results.

Effects of excess pore pressure dissipation on liquefaction-induced ground deformation in 1-g shaking table test

  • Focusing on the effect of excess pore pressure dissipation on liquefaction-induced ground deformation, a series of 1-g shaking table tests were conducted in a rigid soil container by use of saturated Toyoura sand, the relative density of which was 20-60%. These tests were subjected to the sinusoidal base shaking with step increased accelerations: 100, 200, 300 and 400 Gals for 2-4 seconds. Shaking table tests were done using either water or polymer fluid with more viscous than water, thus varying the sand permeability of model tests. Excess pore pressures, accelerations, settlements and lateral deformations were measured in each test. Test results are presented in this paper and the effect of sand permeability on liquefaction and liquefaction-induced ground deformation was discussed in detail.
