  • The purpose of this study is to analize the common bottle-neck of industrial products for improving competitivences in the international export market. The labor, technology, equipments, raw material and governmental support policies can be used as the quality factors.   • PL(product liability) is a major social, market, and economic force. The legal obligation of manufacturers and sellers to compensate for injury or damage caused by defective products is not a recent phenomenon. The concept of Product liability has been in existence for many years, but its emphasis has changed recently. This PL prevention program has shown that the two area of product quality assurance one is a PLD(product liability defense) and the other is a PLP(product liability prevention.

  • Geographical indications are place names (in some countries also words associated with a place) used to identify the origin and quality, reputation or other characteristics of products. Protection required under the TRIPS Agreement is defined in two articles. The purpose of this study is to select the representative geographical indication item of Korea, discuss of the new intellectual property rights, and promote the trade of that product. It is also discussed of a geographical indication registration system and the recognition with international point of view. The international geographical indication protection is strengthening in recent. There are many multilateral and bilateral discussions and talks for geographical indication system. In order to protect excellent Korean products locally and internationally, the 'Quality Management of Agricultural Products Act' has been introduced form July 1, 1999. The geographical indication registration of Korea currently is 31 cases. The geographical indication is limited the regional promotion in Korea. Therefore, it is studied the registered items on the list and analyzed the result of the registration. Consequently, this paper suggests that more effective ways have to be prepared for the systematic management of geographical indications, campaigns for the recognition as a property.

  • As the Internet-related products are launched in a variety of ways, if the products are not produced according to the world standardization model of the Internet, communication with the standardized products will not be smoothly performed. This study was carried out in order to improve the competitiveness of export by launching the global standardization promotion strategy of the Internet of things, to grasp the internet standardization trends of each country and to release the following products. This research work presents a strategic driving model that can enhance interoperability among heterogenous IoT devices. Therefore, this research proposed case by case strategic standard approach based on level of technologies.

Survey of Yogurt Powder Storage in Ambient Export Countries A Safety Evaluation Standard Compliance and Comparative Analysis

  • Yogurt powder is fermented milk processed in the form of dry yogurt, and has advantages such as stability, storability, convenience, and portability. China and Vietnam are important export target countries because of the increased demand for dairy products. Therefore, we surveyed dairy product standardization in order to establish an export strategy. Lactic acid bacteria counts are unregulated in Korea and Vietnam. In China, lactic acid bacteria counts are regulated at $1{\times}10^6$ colonyforming units (CFU)/mL and detected at $6.24{\pm}0.33\;Log\;CFU/mL$. All three countries have regulated standards for total bacterial counts. In China, total bacterial counts of milk powder are regulated to n=5, c=2, m=50,000, M=200,000 and detected at $6.02{\pm}0.12\;Log\;CFU/mL$, exceeding the acceptable level. Lactic acid bacterial counts appeared to exceed total bacterial counts. Coliform group counts, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, and Salmonella species were not detected. Acidity is not regulated in Korea and Vietnam. In China, acidity was regulated to over $70^{\circ}T$ and detected $352.38{\pm}10.24^{\circ}T$. pH is unregulated in all three countries. pH was compared to that of general fermented milk, which is 4.2, and that of the sample was $4.28{\pm}0.01$. Aflatoxin levels are not regulated in Korea and China. In Vietnam, aflatoxin level is regulated at 0.05 ppb. Therefore, all ingredients of the yogurt powder met the safety standards. This data obtained in this study can be used as the basic data in assessing the export quality of yogurt powder.

A Study to Promote the Export of Korean Hang Over Drinks in Russia (숙취해소음료의 러시아권 시장 수출활성화 방안)

  • To diversify the agro-food exports of Korea, this study selected Russia, which is located closet to CIS countries, as a sampling area and sought ways to promote the export of Korean hang over drinks to Russia. This study analyzed the contributing factors to the export, such as Russian consumers' purchasing intentions, as well as the willingness to pay of korean hang over drinks in Russia, using the paper review and on-off line survey data correction method. Major results are as follows. First, Russian consumers' intention of purchasing Korean hang over drinks is higher than Europe and the other products. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the demographic characteristics of Russian consumers and then actively use niche marketing strategies. Second, the purchase intention of Russian consumers towards increased when buying behavior occurred in supermarket, hypermarket- and convenience stores. Third, it seems prefer to pricing of Korean hang over drinks in Russian export market similar to the domestic price level.

A Study on the Export Competitiveness of Chinese ICT Items in Korean Market - Focused on the Computer and Peripheral Equipment Items - (중국산 ICT 품목의 대 한국시장 경쟁력 분석 - 컴퓨터 및 주변기기 품목을 중심으로 -)

  • The study focuses on the ICT industry, which is considered future growth engine. Tthe main objective of the research is to examine the extent of the competitiveness of the Chinese ICT industry, which is rapidly emerging as a competitor of the ICT industry in Korea. The ICT items subject to primary analysis of this study were computer and peripherals items. Analysis methods used were MSI (Market Share Index), EBI (Export Bias Index), and MCA (Market Comparative Advantage). The analysis period was from 2008 to 2016, and the analysis dater used were the export-import data provided by KITA. According to the study, Korean market share of Chinese computers and peripherals items has continued to increase, exports concentrated on the Korean market are intensifying, though the degree of competitiveness gained by the Korean market is quite strong. In particular, 852851, 847160 items have the largest competitiveness in the Korean market compared to other items used in this study. The implications of this study for the Korean market are as follows: i) improvement of quality with price ii) convergence product development between computer and peripherals items and consumer -friendly design development, and iii) marketing efforts to improve product awareness so that consumers recognize Korean computer and peripherals products.
