A study on the High Integrated 1TC SONOS Flash Memory (고집적화된 1TC SONOS 플래시 메모리에 관한 연구)

  • To realize a high integrated Flash memory utilizing SONOS memory devices, the NOR type 1TC(one Transistor Cell) SONOS Flash arrays are fabricated and characterized. This SONOS Flash arrays with common source lines are designed and fabricated by conventional 0.35$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS process. The thickness of ONO for memory cell is tunnel oxide of 34${\AA}$, nitride of 73${\AA}$ and blocking oxide of 34${\AA}$. To investigate operating characteristics, CHEI(Channel Hot Electron Injection) method and Bit line erase method are selected as the write operation and the erase method, respectively. The disturbance characteristics according to the write/erase/read cycling are also examined. The degradation characteristics are investigated and then the reliability of SONOS flash memory is guaranteed.

  • By the state transformation including independent outputs functions, a nonlinear process model can be decomposed into two subsystems; the one(design model) is described in output variables as new states and used for control system synthesis and the other(disturbance model) is described in the original unavailable states and its couplings with the design model are treated as uncertain time-varying parameters in the design model. Its existence with respect to the design model is ignored. So, the design model is and uncertain time-variant system. Control synthesis based on a reduced design model is a combined form of a time-variant input-output linearization with parameter estimation. The parameter estimation is also based on the design model and it gives the parameter estimates such that the estimated outputs follow the actual outputs in a specified way. The disturbances form disturbance model and as well all the other uncertainties affecting the outputs will be reflected into the estimated parameters used in the linearizing control law.

  • A linear input/output data-based predictive control with integral action is developed. The control input is obtained directly from the input/output data in a single step. However, the state estimation in subspace identification gives a biased estimate and there is model mismatch when the controller is applied to a nonlinear process. To overcome such difficulties, we add integral action to a linear input/output data-based predictive controller by augmenting the integrated white noise disturbance model and use each of best linear unbiased estimation(BLUE) filter and Kalman filter as a stochastic observer for the unmeasured disturbance. When applied to a continuous styrene polymerization reactor the proposed controller demonstrates.

  • PID control is widely used to control stable processes, however, PID control for unstable processes is less common. In this paper, systematic tuning methods are derived to tune the PID controller for unstable FOPTD(Forst Order Plus Time Delay) processes. The proposed PID controllers for set-point tracking and disturbance rejection problem are tuned based on minimizing the performance indexes (IAE, ISE, ITAE) using a real-coded genetic algorithm. Simulation example is given to illustrate the set-point tracking and disturbance rejection performance of the proposed method.

  • Number of components and payload systems installed in satellites were found to be exposed to various disturbance sources such as the reaction wheel assembly, the control moment gyro, coolers, and others. A micro-level of vibration can introduce jitter problems into an optical payload system and cause significant degradation of the image quality. Moreover, the prediction of on-orbit vibration effects on the performance of optical payloads during the development process is always important. However, analyzing interactions between subsystems and predicting the vibration level of the payloads is extremely difficult. Therefore, this paper describes the analytical and experimental approach to microvibration effects on satellite optical payload performance with integrated jitter analysis framework, micro vibration emulator and satellite structure testbed.

  • This paper introduces the development of hydraulic cylinder with magnetic sensors detecting absolute and precise position for automation of excavator. The system which is developed can detect absolute position with a little displacement by using algorithm for recognizing datum points, 114 divider algorithm and high precision algorithm improved position precision. We alse evaluate the developed system under the load disturbance and add band pass filter to the previous's signal process circuit for the protecting magnetic sensors's saturation.

  • EPC seeks to minimize variability by transferring the output variable to a related process input(controllable) variable, while SPC seeks to reduce variability by detecting and eliminating assignable causes of variation. Tn the case of product control, a very reasonable objective is to try to minimize the variance of the output deviations from the target or set point. We consider an alternative EPC model with second-order autoregressed disturbance. We compare three control systems; EPC, EPC combined system with EWMA, CUSUM and Shewhart. This paper shows through simulation that the performance of the integrated model of EPC and SPC is more preferable than that of EPC.

  • This paper presents neural load disturbance observer that used to deadbeat load torque observer and regulation of the compensation gain by parameter estimator. As a result, the response of PMSM follows that of the nominal plant. The load torque compensation method is compose of a neural deadbeat observer. To reduce of the noise effect, the post-filter, which is implemented by MA process, is proposed. The parameter compensator with RLSM (recursive least square method) parameter estimator is suggested to increase the performance of the load torque observer and main controller. The proposed estimator is combined with a high performance neural torque observer to resolve the problems. As a result, the proposed control system becomes a robust and precise system against the load torque and the parameter variation. A stability and usefulness, through the verified computer simulation, are shown in this paper.
