This paper develops a simple interactive procedure which can be efficiently used to solve a bicriteria linear programming problem. The procedure exploits the relatively simple structure of the bicriterion linear programming problem. Its application to a transportation problem is also presented. The results demonstrate that the method developed in this paper could be easily applicable to any bicriteria linear program in general.

An objective and one-step detection procedure of multiple outliers is suggested by using the gaps of the order statistics. The detection procedure can be used as a routine outlier detection method of a statistical analysis computer program. The procedure is applied to some examples including the data selected by Kitagawa.

Consider a problem to keep half of the poles unchanged when some of the coefficients of stable characteristic polynomials are perturbed. A procedure was proposed for the problem. However, the pole assignment procedure has not been addressed. A simple algorithm for the procedure is proposed in this paper.

The problem of selection of a subset containing the largest of several slope parameters of regression equations is considered. The proposed selection procedure is based on the weighted median estimators for regression parameters and the median of rescaled absolute residuals for scale parameters. Those estimators are compared with the classical least squares estimators by a simulation study. A Monte Carlo comparison is also made between the new procedure based on the weighted median estiamtors and the procedure based on the least squares estimators. The results show that the proposed procedure is quite robust with respect to the heaviness of distribution tails.

감마분포에 따르는 K($\geq$2)개의 처리들 중에서 최대 척도모수를 갖는 처리를 선택하는 제거형 이단 선택방법을 제안하고 주어진 $(\delta^*, p^*)$에 대하여 Kim(1985)이 제안한 선택확률의 하한을 만족할때 설계상수(nr, mr, c)와 총실험횟수의 평균을 Monte Carlo 방법으로 구하였다. 또한 총실험횟수를 작게한다는 점에서 일단 선택방법보다 유용함을 밝혔다.

본 논문은 이분산성을 갖는 위치-척도 시계열 모형에서 모수의 변화에 대한 모니터링 절차를 연구한다. 모니터링 절차에서 수정된 잔차의 누적합을 이용한 탐지기를 소개하고 귀무가설과 대립가설 하에서 각각 모니터링 절차에 대한 점근적 성질을 규명한다. 그리고 모의실험과 사례 분석을 통하여 제안한 모니터링 방법의 성능이 우수함을 확인한다.

생후 30일 된 형성부전성 좌심증후군 환자에 대하여 무명 동맥과 관상동맥의 국소 순환 하에 완전순환 정지 없이 심박동을 유지한 상태에서 Norwood수술을 시행하였다. 환자는 4개월 후 이차 수술전까지 특별한 문제없이 성장하였고 이차 수술 후 폰탄 수술을 기다리고 있다. 상행 대동맥 근위부 직경이 5 mm 이상 정도로 캐뉼라 삽관이 가능한 경우 완전 순환 정지 없이 Norwood 술식이 가능하며 이를 통하여 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 보고하는 바이다.

A numerical procedure for the analysis of slender arch buckling problems for uniform dead weight is presented in this paper. Such loading changes in the arch profile. The problem is nonlinear. The numerical procedure is limited to an inextensible analysis and to elastic behavior. Based upon a numerical integration technique developed by Newmark for straight beams, a large deflection bending analysis is combined with small deflection buckling routines to formulate the numerical procedure. The numerical procedure is composed of a combination of the numerical integration and successive approximations procedure. The results obtained in this study are as follows : 1.The critical loads obtained in this study coincide with the results by Austin so that the algorithm developed in this study is verified. 2.The numerical results are converged with good precision when the half arch is divided into 10 segments in both Prime and Quadratic section. 3.The critical loads are decreased as the ratios of rise versus span are increased. 4.The critical loads are increased as the moments of inertia at the ends are increased. 5.The critical loads of Prime section are larger than that of Quadratic section under the same profile conditions.

Tracheo-gastric fistula is a very rare late complication of total laryngopharyngoesophagectomy with gastric pull-up procedure. It usually occurs after transhiatal esophagectomy, but it has only rarely been reported after total laryngopharyngoesophagectomy with gastric pull-up procedure. Chronic irritation and gastric ulcer may be the cause of tracheogastric fistula. To prevent fistula formation, active management of gastric ulcer and avoidance of mucosal irritation are necessary. We report a case of a tracheogastric fistula which occurred two years after total laryngopharyngoesophagectomy with gastric pull-up procedure that maybe occurred by chronic irritation and gastric ulcer.
