  • In this paper, we investigate an initial boundary value problem for a nonlinear pseudoparabolic equation. At first, by applying the Faedo-Galerkin, we prove local existence and uniqueness results. Next, by constructing Lyapunov functional, we establish a sufficient condition to obtain the global existence and exponential decay of weak solutions.

  • In this paper, we propose a new branch-reduction-and-bound algorithm to solve the nonlinear knapsack problems by using general discrete monotonic optimization techniques. The specific properties of the problem are exploited to increase the efficiency of the algorithm. Computational experiments of the algorithm on problems with up to 30 variables and 5 different constraints are reported.

  • Recently the author studied a one-parameter family of divergences and considered the related median minimization problem of finite points over these divergences in general symmetric cones. In this article, to utilize the results practically, we deal with a special symmetric cone called second order cone, which is important in optimization fields. To be more specific, concrete computations of divergences with its gradients and the unique minimizer of the median minimization problem of two points are provided skillfully.

  • In this article, we put forward a new type of variational inclusion problem known as resolvent inclusion. An algorithm is given for approximating its solution. The convergence of the algorithm is explained with the help of an example and plots using Matlab.

  • In this paper, we propose a new subgradient extragradient algorithm for finding a solution of monotone bilevel equilibrium problem in reflexive Banach spaces. The strong convergence of the algorithm is established under monotone assumptions of the cost bifunctions with Bregman Lipschitz-type continuous condition. Finally, a numerical experiments is reported to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

  • In order to ensure that the 2015 revised curriculum is successfully settled at the field of school, there are 68 national SW schools operated by 2015 and 2016 at national level, and an inspection tool was developed to measure the effectiveness of SW education. The purpose of this study is to present the direction of the computing thinking inspection tool which can verify the effectiveness of the curriculum from 2018 through the analysis of the previously developed computing thinking inspection tool. As a result of the analysis, the validity of the ability factors to measure the problem solving process based on computing thinking was not enough. In the analysis of the item characteristics, the degree of discrimination was good, but difficulty was not enough to accurately measure the competence of students because of the high percentage of easy questions. Based on the results, this study suggested the development of the items considering the problem solving process based on the computing thinking, the application of the students' empirical knowledge, and the constitution that can confirm the flow of the thinking power with materials in the real life.

  • Recently, the frequency of typhoon and torrential rain due to climate change is increasing. In addition, the upsurge in the complexity of urban sewer network and impervious surfaces area aggravates the inland flooding damage. In response to these worsening situations, the central and local governments are conducting R&D tasks related to predict and mitigate the flood risk. Researches on the analysis of inundation in urban areas have been implemented through various ways, and the common features were to evaluate the accuracy and justification of the model by comparing the model results with the actual inundation data. However, the evaluation procesure using available urban flooding data are not consistent, and if there are no quantitative urban inundation data, verification has to be performed by using press releases, public complaints, or photos of inundation occurring through 'CCTV'. Because theses materials are not quantitative, there is a problem of low reliability. Therefore, this study intends to develop a comparative analysis procedure on the quantitative degree and applicability of the verifiable inundation data, and a systematic framework for the performance assessment of urban flood analysis model was proposed. This would contribute to the standardization of the evaluation and verification procedure for urban flooding modelling.

  • A grouping process through the similarity comparison is required to effectively classify and respond a malicious code. When we have a use of the past similarity criteria to be used in the comparison method or properties it happens a increased problem of false negatives and false positives. Therefore, in this paper we apply to choose variety of properties to complement the problem of behavior analysis on the heuristic-based of 2nd step in malicious code auto analysis system, and we suggest a similarity comparison method applying AHP (analytic hierarchy process) for properties weights that reflect the decision-making technique. Through the similarity comparison of malicious code, configured threshold is set to the optimum point between detection rates and false positives rates. As a grouping experiment about unknown malicious it distinguishes each group made by malicious code generator. We expect to apply it as the malicious group information which includes a tracing of hacking types and the origin of malicious codes in the future.
