XML문서 갱신을 위한 확장 가능한 노드 넘버링 구조 (Extensible Node Numbering Scheme for Updating XML Documents)

  • XML 질의 처리를 위한 XML 문서 트리내 노드들간의 구조적 관계를 효율적으로 찾는 많은 연구들이 수행되었으며 이러한 연구들의 대부분은 노드들의 위치에 기반한 영역 넘버링을 사용하고 있다 그러나 위치 기반의 노드번호 부여 방식은 동일장소에 반복적으로 노드을 삽입할 때 기존 노드번호들의 값 재조정을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 가변길이 문자열을 이용한 버켓단위의 노드번호를 부여함으로써 재조정 노드수를 줄이는 ENN(Extensible Node Numbering) 방법을 제안한다. 또한 기존의 노드번호 부여 방식인 EP(extended preorder)와의 성능 비교를 실시하였다.

사전예약을 통한 구매결정이 소비자의 선택에 미치는 영향력의 작동원리에 관한 실증연구 (The Mechanism of the Influence of Advanced Selling on Consumer Choice)

  • Purpose - In recent, a research finds that advanced selling can influence a consumer's choice(Kim et al., 2013). Advanced selling is defined as the new product launching strategy which company allows consumers to preorder new product before its release(Chu & Zhang, 2011). Prior researches have focused on the benefits of advanced selling(e.g., information gathering for demand prediction, an advantage for pricing strategy, and so on) for companies using this strategy(Chen, 2001; Chu & Zhang, 2011; Li & Zhang, 2013; Tang et al., 2004; Xie & Shugan, 2009). However, Kim et al.(2013) find it can also influence a consumer's choice. In detail, they suggest that when consumers use advanced selling, they are likely to prefer high-performance options rather than low-price options based on construal level theory(Trope & Liberman, 2003). In this paper, we tried to expand the prior researches for finding the mechanism of the influence of advanced selling on a consumer's choice. The purpose of this research is to test the mediating effect on the influence of advanced selling. Research design, data, and methodology - To find the mechanism of the influence of advanced selling, we designed an experiment for testing mediation effect. we recruited 93 students from a university. We assigned participants into one of two groups using randomization method. The participants with each group were given a scenario describing the sales strategy. Finally, they made a choice between high-performance option and low-price option. Sequentially, they also responded some questions for testing mediation effect. Results - First, we replicated prior research to test the influence of advanced selling. As a result, we could find that consumers prefer the high-performance option when they preorder it to purchase at the time of consumption. Thus, the replication result is the same as prior research. Second, we tested that advanced selling can influence the perception of temporal distance. The results confirmed that consumers perceived longer temporal distance in advanced selling condition(β = 1.575, SE = 0.272, p < 0.001). Third, we predicted that temporal distance can increase the importance of desirable attributes and decrease the importance of feasible attributes. The results suggested that temporal distance decreased significantly the importance of attributes related to feasibility(β = -0.19, SE = 0.07, p < 0.01), however, it had non-significant effect on increasing the importance of desirable attributes. Finally, we used Sobel-test for testing mediation effect, and it confirmed that the importance of feasible attributes had mediating role of the influence of advanced selling(Sobel test statistic = -2.110, SE = 0.111, p < 0.05). Conclusions - In this paper, we tried to find the mechanism of the influence on advanced selling from a consumer's choice. With an experiment, we confirmed that the importance of feasible attributes could mediate the effect on advanced selling. Therefore, we suggested some theoretical and practical contributions from this research. Finally, we discussed research limitations and suggested future research topics.

  • 범위 기반 레이블링 스킴(range-based labeling scheme)을 이용하면 임의의 두 노드에 대한 조상-자손 관계를 쉽게 판별할 수 있으므로, XPath나 XQuery 형태의 질의를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있다. 그러나 노드의 삽입이 일어나는 동적인 상황에서는 불가피하게 전체 또는 일부의 레이블을 다시 할당(re-labeling)할 가능성이 있다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 Dietz 레이블링 스킴을 개선한 EP2(extended preorder &amp; postorder) 레이블링 스킴을 제안한다. 제안하는 스킴은 동일한 저장 공간상에서 범위 기반 레이블링 스킴에 비해 동적인 갱신에 유리하며, 기존의 구조 조인 알고리즘(structural join algorithm)을 이용하여 효율적으로 구조 질의(structural query)를 처리할 수 있다.

Enumerations of Finite Topologies Associated with a Finite Simple Graph

  • The number of topologies (non-homeomorphic topologies) on a fixed finite set having n elements are now known up to n = 18 (n = 16 respectively) but still no complete formula yet. There are one to one correspondences among topologies, preorders and transitive digraphs on a given finite set. In this article, we enumerate topologies and non-homeomorphic topologies whose underlying graph is a given finite simple graph.

  • In relation to the classification of finite topological spaces the paper [17] studied various properties of finite topological spaces. Indeed, the study of future internet system can be very related to that of locally finite topological spaces with some order structures such as preorder, partial order, pretopology, Alexandroff topological structure and so forth. The paper generalizes the results from [17] so that the paper can enlarge topological and homotopic properties suggested in the category of finite topological spaces into those in the category of locally finite topological spaces including ALF spaces.

르장드르 웨이블릿을 이용한 선형 시불변 시스템의 효율적 수치 해석 방법 (An Efficient Computational Method for Linear Time-invariant Systems via Legendre Wavelet)

  • In this paper Legendre wavelets are used to approximate the solutions of linear time-invariant system. The Legendre wavelet and its integral operational matrix are presented and an efficient algorithm to solve the Sylvester matrix equation is proposed. The algorithm is based on the decomposition of the Sylvester matrix equation and the preorder traversal algorithm. Using the special structure of the Legendre wavelet's integral operational matrix, the full order Sylvester matrix equation can be solved in terms of the solutions of pure algebraic matrix equations, which reduce the computation time remarkably. Finally a numerical example is illustrated to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.

L-upper Approximation Operators and Join Preserving Maps

  • In this paper, we investigate the properties of join and meet preserving maps in complete residuated lattice using Zhang's the fuzzy complete lattice which is defined by join and meet on fuzzy posets. We define L-upper (resp. L-lower) approximation operators as a generalization of fuzzy rough sets in complete residuated lattices. Moreover, we investigate the relations between L-upper (resp. L-lower) approximation operators and L-fuzzy preorders. We study various L-fuzzy preorders on $L^X$. They are considered as an important mathematical tool for algebraic structure of fuzzy contexts.

  • Our long-standing Metatheorem in Ordered Fixed Point Theory is applied to some well-known order theoretic fixed point theorems. In the first half of this article, we introduce extended versions of the Zermelo fixed point theorem, Zorn's lemma, and the Caristi fixed point theorem based on the Brøndsted-Jachymski principle and our 2023 Metatheorem. We show some of their applications to other fixed point theorems or theorems on the existence of maximal elements in partially ordered sets. In the second half, we collect and improve order theoretic fixed point theorems in the collection of Howard-Rubin in 1991 and others. In fact, we improve or extend several ordering principles or fixed point theorems due to Brézis-Browder, Brøndsted, Knaster-Tarski, Tarski-Kantorovitch, Turinici, Granas-Horvath, Jachymski, and others.

  • We introduce the subcategories IRe $l_{PR}$ (H), IRe $l_{PO}$ (H) and IRe $l_{E}$(H) of IRe $l_{R}$(H) and study their structures in a viewpoint of the topological universe introduced by L.D.Nel. In particular, the category IRe $l_{R}$(H)(resp. IRe $l_{P}$(H) and IRe $l_{E}$(H)) is a topological universe eve, Set. Moreover, we show that IRe $l_{E}$(H) has exponential objects.ial objects.
