호텔직원의 근로가치관이 직무몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Work Values of Hotel Employees on Job Commitment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 이론적 배경과 선행연구를 통해 호텔직원의 근로가치관이 직무몰입에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 회귀분석이 이용되었는데, 연구결과는 내적근로가치관이 직무애착, 직무책임감, 직무중요성에 유의한 영향을 주었고, 외적근로가치관도 직무애착, 직무책임감, 직무중요성에 유의한 영향을 주었다. 이 연구는 개인의 태도와 행동에 영향을 주는 근로가치관에 대한 이해와 분석, 활용을 통하여 조직목표 달성을 위한 조직구성원들의 행동관리의 효과를 높일 수 있을 뿐 아니라 가치관에 대한 분석을 통해 조직 내에 서로 다른 가치관을 소유하고 있는 조직구성원들의 문제를 이해하고 해결하는데 직접적으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

직무기반 치과기공사 실기시험 시행 방안에 대한 제언 (Suggestions on the implementation plan for job-based dental technician practical exam)

  • Purpose: This study aims to make suggestions for the implementation of the job-based dental technician practical exam. Methods: The duties of dental technicians and the recent trends in the dental technician field were defined and identified, respectively, to achieve the purpose of the current study. The practical test system of domestic and foreign national tests was comparatively analyzed to seek improvements. Additionally, the direction of the practical test to be taken in the future was investigated through a public hearing of domestic experts. Results: As a result of this study, the job site of dental technicians was recently found to be undergoing many changes, and it can be observed that related laws and the work site have already changed. Comparison of overseas test systems showed that Korea was limited to a rather small evaluation range; in general, the scope of the evaluation of the practical tests in foreign countries was widely conducted. In the results of the public hearing, opinions exist that the evaluation range of the practical test was expanded and that new subjects were needed, but the opinion on the existence of practical difficulties was mainly mentioned. Conclusion: The evaluation range of the current practical examination subjects should be expanded and the evaluation of digital dental engineering subjects should be added to proceed with the job-based practical examination. However, it seems that efforts should be made gradually through various efforts in the future due to practical difficulties.

European Approaches to Work-Related Stress: A Critical Review on Risk Evaluation

  • In recent years, various international organizations have raised awareness regarding psychosocial risks and work-related stress. European stakeholders have also taken action on these issues by producing important documents, such as position papers and government regulations, which are reviewed in this article. In particular, 4 European models that have been developed for the assessment and management of work-related stress are considered here. Although important advances have been made in the understanding of work-related stress, there are still gaps in the translation of this knowledge into effective practice at the enterprise level. There are additional problems regarding the methodology in the evaluation of work-related stress. The European models described in this article are based on holistic, global and participatory approaches, where the active role of and involvement of workers are always emphasized. The limitations of these models are in the lack of clarity on preventive intervention and, for two of them, the lack of instrument standardization for risk evaluation. The comparison among the European models to approach work-related stress, although with limitations and socio-cultural differences, offers the possibility for the development of a social dialogue that is important in defining the correct and practical methodology for work stress evaluation and prevention.

정신간호조무요원의 업무스트레스 및 근무의욕에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Work Stress and the Morale perceived in Psychiatric Nursing Assistants)

  • This study was done to analyze the relationship between task stress and morale in psychiatric nursing assistants. The subjects were 118 psychiatric nursing assistants selected from the National Mental Hospital in Seoul and 18 non-medical mental institutions. The data were collected from October 22 to November 12, 1994. The instruments used for this study were modified PNOSS (Psychiatric Nurse Occupational Stress Scale) which was developed by Bai and modified the Morale scale which was developed by Oh. The confidence varification of these instruments were computed and Cronbach $\alpha$=.9255, .9260. Data were analyzed by t -test, ANOVA on 5% significant level and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of the study are as follows : 1. The average work stress scores of subjects were 2.83. Among the work stress factors : the conflict with nurse was identified as the most stress factor. There was significant relationship between the degree of work stress and the variables of psychiatric Nursing Assistants such as the marital status, educational level, religion, job satisfaction, working place, predicted period of work. 2. Average total morale scores for the subjects was 3.08. There was a significant relationship between the degree of morale and variables of psychiatric nursing assistants such as working place, certification as a nursing assistant, job satisfaction, opportunity for practical education and predicted period of work. 3. There was a significant relationship between the degree of morale and work stress factors such as administration problem, work overload.

구성원의 민첩성과 업무성과 간의 관계에 관한 실증연구: 민첩성의 영향요인과 지식지향 리더십을 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Employee's Agility and Work Performance: Focused on the Agility's Influence Factors and Knowledge-Oriented Leadership)

  • Employee's agility is becoming a primary factor of improving individual work performance. Employee's agility refers to responsiveness or behavior of employees in the context of work environment change. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between employee's agility and work performance in the perspective of agility's influence factors(absorptive capacity, IT resource use, readiness to change) and knowledge-oriented leadership, A survey was conducted for gathering data (a total of 262 employees from 35 industrial organizations) to test the relationships. The results of analysis show that employee's agility is a driving force leading to individual work performance, that employee's absorptive capacity, IT resource use, readiness to change, and knowledge-oriented leadership are the significant influential factors of employee's agility, and that knowledge-oriented leadership strengthens the link between employee's absorptive capacity and agility. For theoretical and practical contributions, the research presents the grounds for arguments that employee's agility is employee's dynamic capability for individual work performance under work environment change, and that organizations trying to improve employee's agility need to explore employee's behavioral attitudes under individual, leader, and organizational dimensions. Limitations arisen in the course of the research and suggestions for future research directions are also discussed.

Implementation of Face Recognition Applications for Factory Work Management

  • Facial recognition is a biometric technology that is used in various fields such as user authentication and identification of human characteristics. Face recognition applications are practically used in various fields, but very few applications have been developed to improve the factory work environment. We implemented applications that uses face recognition to identify a specific employee in a factory .work environment and provide customized information for each employee. Factory workers need documents describing the work in order to do their assigned work. Factory managers can use our application to register documents needed for each worker, and workers can view the documents assigned to them. Each worker is identified using face recognition, and by tracking the worker's face during work, it is possible to know that the worker is in the workplace. In addition, as a mobile app for workers is provided, workers can view the contents using a tablet, and we have defined a simple communication protocol to exchange information between our applications. We demonstrated the applications in a factory work environment and found several improvements were required for practical use. We expect these results can be used to improve factory work environments.

외국인 고용허가제 도입에 따른 효율적 노동인력 수급에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Work Force Supply-Demand According to the Employment Permit System for Foreigners)

  • The employment permit system for foreigners, which stresses introduction of foreign work force in a legal manner rather than in the position of being trainees, is anticipated to efficiently improve introduction and the overall management system of foreign work force and related difficulties such as illegal alien problems, absurdity on sending laborers overseas. In this paper, a prospective model of supply and demand of work force has been developed basing on various categories of industries and patterns about nationally practical foreign employees to look over efficient supply and demand of work force suiting employment of foreigner among foreign work force policies. To propose the prospective model, we have derived industry- and pattern-related matrixes of foreign laborers basing on Inter-Industry Analysis Method put forth by Professor Leontiyef in 1930, and through the derived matrix assessed repercussions concerning overall domestic industries and foreigner types and decided yearly weight; the capacity of supply and demand of foreign laborers can be compared through proposed statistical estimation and government estimation by combining the determined weight with yearly incomes of foreign laborers. This paper has thoroughly considered the particularity of our employment permit system for foreigners and applied the Weibull distribution and incorporated the dependence of foreign laborers during the limited period of 3 years to the industry relation analysis, ultimately proposing an efficient supply and demand method about domestic foreign work force.

  • Purpose In online delivery platforms, platform workers are required to perform both platform labor, which is compensated with immediate wages, and shadow work which is a kind of unpaid job to support the platform labor. Thus, the objective of this study is to empirically examine how platform workers' platform labor and shadow work affect their job burnout and their turnover intention in the online delivery platform context. Design/methodology/approach This study developed a research model by employing platform labor and shadow work to influence job burnout and turnover intention. This study also tested the model by partial least square techniques after collecting 169 cross-sectional data from food delivery riders in Korea. Findings This study found that both platform labor and shadow work affected platform workers' job burnout. In addition, the results showed that shadow work influenced their turnover intention while platform labor did not affect the turnover intention. Based on the results, this study contributed to relevant researchers who are interested in platform contexts by offering measurable constructs on platform labor and shadow work. In addition, this study could provide practitioners with practical implications on managing platform workers.

품질 연계지표 평가방법을 사용한 암호화 모듈 실무현장 적용체계 연구 (A Study of Practical Field Application Cryptographic Module through Evaluation Derived by Connection Indicators)

  • 본 연구에서 제안하는 암호화 모듈 품질평가 체계는 ISO/IEC 9000 품질체계를 참조하여 Quality, Quality Factor, Quality Subfactor, Metric로 계층화된다. 암호화 알고리즘 실무적용 프로세스는 암호화 알고리즘 장단점 진단을 기초로 하여 암호화자산 평가, 알고리즘선택 포인트 분석, 품질 항목(quality factor) 도출, 제약조건도출, 암호모듈 품질평가체계 설계 등 5개단계로 설정한다. 이 5개 단계는 현장중심의 암호화 작업사례를 진단하여 업무에서 가장 필수적으로 수행되어야 할 작업순서를 도출한 것 이다. 2-Factor간 연계지표는 암호화 모듈의 품질항목(quality factor)을 발굴하고 이 품질 항목을 확보하는 환경인 암호화 작업의 제약조건 두가지 영역이다. 본 연구는 암호화 모듈 실무현장 적용체계를 하나의 표준화 모델로 제시한다. 우리는 정보기술 환경의 급속한 변화에 부응하여 암호화 알고리즘 개발과 현장 적용 모델을 다양하게 개발하므로서 암호화의 효율을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.
