In the paper, we consider two-dimensional warranty policy with failure times and repair times. The failure times are considered within the warranty period and the repair times are considered within the repair time limit. Under the renewable warranty policy and non-renewable warranty policy, we consider the number of warranty services in the censored area by warranty period and repair time limit to conduct warranty cost analysis. We investigate the field data to check their dependency and implement our proposed approaches to conduct warranty cost analysis using the parametric methods. Numerical examples are discussed to demonstrate the applicability of the methodologies and results based on the proposed approach in the paper.

This article describes the theoretical foundations of government policy for hospitals in terms of correcting market failure and enhancing equity. It then discusses the characteristics that desirable payment systems should have, and the effects of the DRG-based prospective payment system on hospital behavior, its financial performance, hospital industry, and health care expenditure. The rationales and impacts of other public policies for hospitals such as antitrust and fair trade regulation, dissemination of practice guidelines and hospital mortality information, regulation of hospital capital investment, and tax policy are also discussed.

창업실패에 대한 선행연구들은 상장기업의 도산원인을 도출하는데 주력하여 왔다. 본 연구에서는 창업기업을 대상으로 실패원인과 실패과정을 분석하고자 한다. 20개 창업기업의 실패사례를 바탕으로 신생의 어려움과 ERIS모델을 활용하여 창업실패 원인을 도출하였다. 국내 창업기업들에게는 경영능력 부족, 연구개발 및 제품화 실패, 판로 확보 어려움과 같은 신생의 어려움이 존재함을 발견하였다. 또한, 창업 실패과정을 사업준비 부족형, 자원획득 실패형, 전략부재형, 마케팅 실패형으로 유형화 하였다.

이 연구는 교육정책의 반복적인 정책실패에도 불구하고 이와 같은 현상을 규명하려는 학술적 노력이 부족했다는 문제의식에서 정책학습이라는 관점에서 교육정책의 변화 내용을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 정책이 수립된 지 20여 년이 넘었지만, 여전히 정부와 교원단체 간에 갈등이 심각한 교원성과급 정책을 정책 분석사례로 삼아 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째 교원성과급 정책은 김대중 정부에서 문재인 정부에 이르기까지 총 11차에 걸친 정책 내용의 변화가 있었다. 정부가 새롭게 출범할 때마다 교원성과급 정책은 내용에 변화가 생겼을 뿐만 아니라, 동일 정부 시기 동안에도 정책변화는 지속되었다. 둘째, 각 정부별 정책 내용의 변화 단계에서 어떠한 정책학습이 있었는지를 분석하였을 때, 대부분 '정치적 정책학습'과 '도구적 정책학습'이 이루어졌다. 즉, 정책의 목표나 가치에 대한 근본적인 논의보다는 교원성과급 정책의 옹호를 위해 차등지급의 비율을 조정하는 정책학습을 이어왔다. 이와 같은 현 상황을 회복하기 위해 이 연구는 교원성과급 정책의 기본적인 가치와 전략을 검토하는 '사회적 정책학습'을 통해 경직된 교직 사회를 변화시킬 수 있는 대안적인 정책 제시가 필요함을 제안한다.

Various policy declarations and institutional experiments involving artificial intelligence are being made in most countries. Depending on how the artificial intelligence policy changes, the role of the government, the scope of the policy, and the policy means used may vary, which can lead to the success or failure of the policy. This study proposed a perspective on AI(Artificial Intelligence) in policy research, investigated the theory of path change, and derived the characteristics of path change in AI policy. Since AI policy is related to a wide range of policy areas and the policy making is at the start points, this study is based on the neo-institutional path theory about the types of institutional changes. As a result of this study, AI policy showed the characteristics of path creation, and in detail presented the conflict relationship between institutional design elements, the scalability of policy areas, policy stratification and policy mix, the top policy characteristics transcending the law, and the experiment for regulatory innovation. Since AI can also be used as a key tool for policy innovation in the future, research on the path and characteristics of AI policy will provide a new direction and approach to government policy or institutional innovation seeking digital transformation.

In this, paper burn-in and maintenance policy are taken into consideration at the same time. The cost of a minimal repair is assumed to be a non-decreasing function of its age. The problems of determining optimal burn-in times and optimal maintenance policy are considered.

This paper proposes a new two-dimensional warranty policy with replacement and repair regions and analyses the warranty cost under the new warranty policy. The product is sold under a two-dimensional warranty(usage and age) in which two regions exist : the failed product is replaced by the manufacturer in the replacement region or minimally repaired by the manufacturer in the repair region. The formula of the expected warranty cost under some assumptions about usage and failure is obtained. Numerical examples are studied.

This study deals with the derivative adverse minimum for inferiority system depends on continuose operating under infinite planning horizon. This planning will be accomplished by maintenance limit renewal policy in consideration of opportunity cost which affects system by failure during operation periods and expected cost under nomal operation states. By the results, we will be expected incresing total efficiency for the system by optimal renewal policy.
