A Study on the Influence of Healthcare on Coustomer Satisfaction and Revisit (의료미용 서비스가 고객 만족도 및 재방문에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we conducted a survey on the 20 - to 30-year-olds woman and men in a total of 291 questionnaires to analyze the impact on the level of customer satisfaction and revisit the factors of service quality and hospital selection. Analysis result, found that there was a correlation between the quality of service, customer satisfaction, and factors of re-intervient inquiry when selecting hospitals. In particular, it was found that hospital expenses and hospital map were affected by customer satisfaction and re-investigation companies, and the quality of the service after treatment had the greatest impact on other variables. As such, these results are considered to be of overall concern to the physician's ability to perform the procedure as well as to the service of the staff. Various follow-up studies are needed depending on the region.

An Empirical Study on the Revitalization of O2O: A Unified View of Offline Channel and Mobile Channel (O2O 서비스 활성화 방안에 대한 실증 연구: 오프라인 채널과 모바일 채널의 통합적 관점에서)

  • This study explores unified service experience to boost O2O services. Previous studies on service management and marketing only focused on customer experience in offline stores, while prior works on information systems looked only at the experience of services in mobile applications. In this vein, this study took into accounts the characteristics of offline stores and the benefits of their mobile applications. Moreover, the final dependent variable was share of wallet to measure customer's expenditure within the category. The theoretical model was tested based on 219 consumers who frequently visit Starbucks and use its mobile application. PLS method was applied to analysis the research model and hypotheses. The analysis results showed that customer satisfaction about offline store is not significantly related to share of wallet, while satisfaction about mobile application plays a significant role in enhancing share of wallet. Hedonic and social benefits were found to have significant effects on satisfaction about mobile application. The analysis results help establish service marketing and strategies to enhance the unified customer experience of O2O service.

  • In the past, customers utilize a secondhand book market as a major counter for their purchasing used books. With expansion of internet and IT devices, many customers would like to buy their used books in an on-line secondhand book store which has more price competitiveness and ease. Nowadays a new concept off-line secondhand book market which has the advantages of both on-line and off-line is a growing trend instead of existing secondhand book markets in the economic recession. In this study, we established customer service satisfaction for 'Aladin store', which is the advanced concept off-line secondhand book store, with the most typical service quality test technique SERVQUAL. First, we selected appropriate service quality factor for the advanced concept off-line secondhand book market such as Aladin store. After that, we analyzed which factors are influencing repurchase intentions, through customer survey. The conclusion provides the secondhand book store's service quality improvement and strategy toward customer satisfaction including the existing used book stores.

  • Modern smart phone on the Determinants of Customer Satisfaction Analysis In this study, the future should be the basis for the development of products to meet customers' phone makers smart. Were the factors that affect the study design, size, and ease of use of the screen, a pandemic, the application of the five items on the customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction to determine the difference between the factors in the manufacturers appeared to be factors in the design, size, ease-of-use of the screen, after-sales service, durability, pandemic, brand awareness, and application.

Unethical Customer Return Behaviors: Retail Employees' Perspectives (비윤리적 고객반품행동의 고찰: 유통업체 종업원 관점)

  • As Korean retailers are expanding their return policies, customer abuse and fraud behaviors are increasing. This study attempts to understand customers' unethical return behaviors in the Korean retailing. As an exploratory approach, the study identifies behavioral patterns of unethical returns from retail employees' perspectives. A total of 168 cases collected from 112 individual interviews with retail employees are qualitatively analyzed. Unethical return behaviors are categorized into five groups: lenting/deshopping, product defects with customer faults, unreasonable compensation demands, selfish behaviors, and problem behaviors in the service encounter. The study indicates that a variety of unethical return behaviors are observed despite a short history of return policy in Korea, and renting/deshopping and product defects with customer faults are the most prevalent return abuse behaviors.

A Study on Extraction of International Freight Forwarders' Service Quality Factors: the Case of South Korea (포워더의 서비스품질 요인의 도출에 관한 연구 - 한국의 사례 -)

  • The international freight forwarders in South Korea currently have fierce competition. However, there are still a very small number of studies Korea locally and globally on the service quality of international freight forwarding industry. This study aims to extract international freight forwarders' service quality factors reflecting the characteristics of freight forwarding industry. Measures of service quality have been selected after literature review and interviews, and then surveys have been conducted on exporters and importers in Korea. The collected data has been analyzed using the exploratory factor analysis. As a result, two service quality factors of international freight forwarders have been extracted: operation characteristics factor defined as accuracy, speediness timeliness and stability, and customer orientation factor defined as professionalism and empathy. An important contribution of this study is that it presents the service quality factors reflecting the characteristics of freight forwarding industry unlike precedent studies. A future research topic is to find out which of the two service quality factors influences more on customer loyalty.

  • Logistics network management has become one of the most important sources of competitive advantage regarding logistics cost and customer service in numerous business segments. Logistics network simulation is a powerful analysis method for designing and planning the logistics network optimally in an integrated way. This paper introduces a logistics network simulator, LONSIM, developed by author. LONSIM deploys a mix of simulation and optimization functions to model and analysis logistics network issues such as facility location, inventory policy, manufacturing policy, transportation mode, warehouse assignment, supplier assignment, order processing priority rule, and vehicle routes. LONSIM is built with AweSim 2.1 and Visual Basic 6.0, and executed in windows environment.

Understanding the Relationship between Value Co-Creation Mechanism and Firm's Performance based on the Service-Dominant Logic (서비스지배논리하에서 가치공동창출 매커니즘과 기업성과간의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • AIn the advanced - economy, the services industry hasbecome a dominant sector. Evidently, the services sector has grown at a much faster rate than any other. For instance, in such developed countries as the U.S., the proportion of the services sector in its GDP is greater than 75%. Even in the developing countries including India and China, the magnitude of the services sector in their GDPs is rapidly growing. The increasing dependence on service gives rise to new initiatives including service science and service-dominant logic. These new initiatives propose a new theoretical prism to promote the better understanding of the changing economic structure. From the new perspectives, service is no longer regarded as a transaction or exchange, but rather co-creation of value through the interaction among service users, providers, and other stakeholders including partners, external environments, and customer communities. The purpose of this study is the following. First, we review previous literature on service, service innovation, and service systems and integrate the studies based on service dominant logic. Second, we categorize the ten propositions of service dominant logic into conceptual propositions and the ones that are directly related to service provision. Conceptual propositions are left out to form the research model. With the selected propositions, we define the research constructs for this study. Third, we develop measurement items for the new service concepts including service provider network, customer network, value co-creation, and convergence of service with product. We then propose a research model to explain the relationship among the factors that affect the value creation mechanism. Finally, we empirically investigate the effects of the factors on firm performance. Through the process of this research study, we want to show the value creation mechanism of service systems in which various participants in service provision interact with related parties in a joint effort to create values. To test the proposed hypotheses, we developed measurement items and distributed survey questionnaires to domestic companies. 500 survey questionnaires were distributed and 180 were returned among which 171 were usable. The results of the empirical test can be summarized as the following. First, service providers' network which is to help offer required services to customers is found to affect customer network, while it does not have a significant effect on value co-creation and product-service convergence. Second, customer network, on the other hand, appears to influence both value co-creation and product-service convergence. Third, value co-creation accomplished through the collaboration of service providers and customers is found to have a significant effect on both product-service convergence and firm performance. Finally, product-service convergence appears to affect firm performance. To interpret the results from the value creation mechanism perspective, service provider network well established to support customer network is found to have significant effect on customer network which in turn facilitates value co-creation in service provision and product-service convergence to lead to greater firm performance. The results have some enlightening implications for practitioners. If companies want to transform themselves into service-centered business enterprises, they have to consider the four factors suggested in this study: service provider network, customer network, value co-creation, and product-service convergence. That is, companies becoming a service-oriented organization need to understand what the four factors are and how the factors interact with one another in their business context. They then may want to devise a better tool to analyze the value creation mechanism and apply the four factors to their own environment. This research study contributes to the literature in following ways. First, this study is one of the very first empirical studies on the service dominant logic as it has categorized the fundamental propositions into conceptual and empirically testable ones and tested the proposed hypotheses against the data collected through the survey method. Most of the propositions are found to work as Vargo and Lusch have suggested. Second, by providing a testable set of relationships among the research variables, this study may provide policy makers and decision makers with some theoretical grounds for their decision making on what to do with service innovation and management. Finally, this study incorporates the concepts of value co-creation through the interaction between customers and service providers into the proposed research model and empirically tests the validity of the concepts. The results of this study will help establish a value creation mechanism in the service-based economy, which can be used to develop and implement new service provision.

  • While the scale of the consulting market growth in quantity quality, the consultant capacity is becoming important in the digital industry. The preceding elements of trust formation to the consultant capacity divided into ability, integrity, and benevolence of consultant. Also, the consultant capacity is to find out what effect the overall trust and customer satisfaction and re-contract. The results of the analysis, consultant capacity have positive(+) effects for the formation of the trust in the practice of consulting project, and consulting service trust has positive(+) effect in the relationship between customer satisfaction and re-contract. In addition, consulting service trust in consultant capacity appeared to has positive(+) mediating effects in the relationship between customer satisfaction and re-contract intend.

Shopping Orientation and Satisfaction with Clothes of 20s Women Consumers Using Domestic/Global SPA Brands (국내/해외 SPA브랜드 의복구매 20대 여성 소비자의 쇼핑성향과 의복만족도)

  • This study examines the possible differences in satisfaction level according to the attributes classified as product, price, and service among women apparel consumers with the experience of buying global and domestic SPA brands. Data were collected through a survey of 270 women consumers aged 20s and with SPSS 15.0. The results are as follows: The exploration of the difference in product, price, and service attributes between the global and domestic SPA brands revealed that for product attributes, domestic brands scored higher in management quality, while global brands scored higher in design. In addition, for price attributes, domestic brands scored higher in promotion, while global brands scored higher in price value. When it comes to service attributes, only in regards to store policy was there a significant difference, with the score of global brands higher than domestic brands. The analysis of the difference in shopping orientation on domestic SPA brands showed significant difference only in customer convenience for the category of service attributes, while on global SPA brands, there were significant differences of the design for product attributes, promotion for price attributes, and customer convenience for service attributes.
