A Study on Guidelines of Tourism Development in Korea and Japan

  • Fishing village is becoming the central base of fishing industry and it plays a major role. However, there is a decrement of marine resources and some difficulties with the deterioration of fishing industry management. In order to solve these problems, there should be some developments(e.g. fishing village toursim development) on various undergoing government and the private organization programs. Nevertheless, there are not guidelines for fishing village tourism development to utilize for practical business. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the current status and guidelines regarding the development of fishing village for coastal planner. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of fishing village development works in Korea and Japan. The second purpose is to identifie success factors after analyzing individual success cases. Based on evidence from the literature and a dialogue with village leader, a literature review on extracting success cases for guidelines were selected according to criteria such as the degree of contribution to an increase in income of the fishing village, the degree of contribution to an increase in consumption of marine products using local natural resources, the number of tourists that visits the village. Finally we propose guidelines for future fishing village development projects. The guidelines based on the successful cases, as well as the major factors about the objectives and direction of fishing village tourism development, suggested as follows. 1)Plans for land use, 2)Development of tourist resources, 3)Plans for views, 4)Plans for resource protection, 5)Plans for operation and marketing.

Treatment Plan Delivery Accuracy of the ViewRay System in Two-Headed Mode

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the delivery accuracy of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) plans in the two-headed mode of the ViewRay$^{TM}$ system in comparison with that of the normal operation treatment plan of the machine. For this study, a total of eight IMRT plans and corresponding verification plans were generated (four head and neck, two liver, and two prostate IMRT plans). The delivered dose distributions were measured using ArcCHECK$^{TM}$ with the insertion of an ionization chamber. We measured the delivered dose distributions in three-headed mode (normal operation of the machine), two-headed mode with head 1 disabled, two-headed mode with head 2 disabled, and two-headed mode with head 3 disabled. Therefore, a total of four measurements were performed for each IMRT plan. The global gamma passing rates (3%/3 mm) in three-headed mode, head 1 disabled, head 2 disabled, and head 3 disabled were $99.9{\pm}0.1%$, $99.8{\pm}0.3%$, $99.6{\pm}0.7%$, and $99.7{\pm}0.4%$, respectively. The difference in the gamma passing rates of the three- and two-headed modes was insignificant. With 2%/2 mm, the rates were $96.6{\pm}3.6%$, $97.2{\pm}3.5%$, $95.7{\pm}6.2%$, and $95.5{\pm}4.3%$, respectively. Between three-headed mode and head 3 disabled, a statistically significant difference was observed with a p-value of 0.02; however, the difference was minimal (1.1%). The chamber readings showed differences of approximately 1% between three- and two-headed modes, which were minimal. Therefore, the treatment plan delivery in the two-headed mode of the ViewRay$^{TM}$ system seems accurate and robust.

유비쿼터스도시계획과 관련계획의 비교연구 (Comparative Study Between U-City Plan and Related Plans)

  • 유비쿼터스도시의 건설 등에 관한 법률이 2008년 제정되었고 이에 따른 종합계획이 2009년 11월에 확정되었다. 이에 지자체에서 수립하는 유비쿼터스도시계획의 제도적 요건이 마련되었다. 그러나 일선 지자체 및 관련사업 관계자들의 유비쿼터스도시계획의 이해부족과 제도 정착의 초기에 발생되는 혼선이 상당히 야기되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 혼선은 특히, 기존 관련계획 들과의 중복여부와 연계수립부분에서 발생되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 유비쿼터스도시계획과 관련계획과의 법제도 및 계획내용 등을 비교분석하여 유비쿼터스도시계획과 관련계획들과의 관계를 파악함으로써 향후 유비쿼터스도시계획과 관련계획간의 연계가능성에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

환경성평가를 통한 비위생 매립지 정비방안 (Uncontrolled Landfill Maintenance Plans through the Environmental Evaluation)

  • In this study, we intend to present the uncontrolled landfill maintenance plans by diversely reviewing the operating conditions of landfill and environmental effects and economical issues resulted from the operation of landfill for the purpose of suggesting the optimal maintenance plans applicable to the uncontrolled landfill and unused landfill located in Korea. We perform the basic and precise surveys against three landfill sites showing the biggest problem out of 8 unsanitary landfills sites located in Y County. We compare and review the treatment plans prepared and operated by the N Landfill. The compared and reviewed results show that the local stabilization plan is more effective than the excavation and transfer treatment plan when considering the economic efficiency only. However, the excavation and transfer treatment plan is valid when considering the diverse elements. The G Landfill is operated with separated into living waste landfill section and construction waste landfill section. However, some landfill gas collection bores or holes are installed in its living waste landfill section, which has not been used for about 20 years, as a part of follow-up control. The element causing the environmental damage is considerably reduced in its living waste landfill section. However, the effort to keep the follow-up control through the local stabilization work is required. The landfill is under processing in the construction waste landfill section. However, most of buried wastes are the inorganic wastes such as waste materials and concrete, so the maintenance plan focused on the use of top land by installing the local stabilization facilities is considered as an effective plan. The landfill is under processing in the K Landfill. It seems to be difficult to maintain this landfill through the local stabilization. The excavation and transfer treatment plan to completely remove the potential environmental pollution source is considered as the valid plan.

생산 품목과 생산량의 변화에 적용가능한 여성복 생산라인 설계 모델에 관한 연구 (Development of production planning model for women′s wear manufacturer - focused on the changing style numbers and lot size -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest production planning model for women's apparel manufacturer, which are relevant to the situation of Korean clothing industry. The research was based on simulation method. The basic model for the simulation was developed based on the empirical data from six production fm. After verifying the basic model, low alternative production plans went through trial run. In order to suggest the application of these alternative production plans for various style numbers and lot sizes, the simulation results were compared in terms of product efficiency and product cost. The four alternative plans were as follows: 1. The first alternative was to spread out work loads among workers in order to resolve bottlenecks in work flow. So this was suited to manufacturers that had constant production without regard to changing seasons. 2. The second alternative was to merge the skirt and trouser production, which require less work load, in one line. In this line, a few machine was justified by production improvement. It was suited to cases which producted various style suits. The third and fourth alternative were using another subcontractor for assembling inner shell garments. These was compatible in manufacturers which had to product more styles and sizes of trousers and skirts than those of upper garments. 3. The third alternative was to reassign the same workers in production line. Thus, production was increased. 4. The fourth alternative was to except two worker in production line, so expenses of worker's wage was decreased. The four alternatives could be one of the cost effective manufacturing plans according to manufacturer situations.

대학생의 자살관련행동 및 예방대책 (Suicide-Related Behaviors among College Students and suicide prevention)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 자살행동(자살생각, 자살계획, 자살시도)의 실태를 파악하고 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하는 것으로 목적으로 시행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 분석을 위해 2012년 4월 2일부터 4월 21일까지 대전과 충청지역 대학생 421명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이중 불성실한 응답자를 제외한 384부의 설문지를 분석하였으며, SPSS 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 대학생의 평생 자살생각률 32.3%, 자살계획률 4.7%, 자살시도율 3.0%이었으며 자살생각이 자살계획 및 자살시도를 예측할 수 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 자살생각, 자살계획, 자살시도에 공통적이며 주요한 위험요인으로 나타난 우울증에 대해 경도이상의 우울증을 경험하는 대학생이 42.2%였다. 이에 자살을 방지하기 위해서는 자살생각과 우울증의 관리가 요구된다. 자살방지를 위해서는 자살생각 및 우울증 있는 대상자의 선별검사의 제도화, 과거 자살시도자, 자살자 주위 사람에 대한 전문적 사후관리, gatekeeper 활용 및 자살위험행동에 대한 매뉴얼 개발, 사전관리를 위한 정신건강프로그램, 언론매체의 신중한 보도 등의 노력이 이루어져야 하겠다.

토픽 모델링을 이용한 개방형 혁신 연구동향 분석 및 정책 방향 모색 (A Study on the Research Trends on Open Innovation using Topic Modeling)

  • 2018년 2월, 우리나라 정부는 '국민이 주인인 정부'를 실현하고자 정부혁신 종합추진계획을 수립하였다. 종합계획의 핵심은 국민 참여이며, 정부 내부의 역량만을 통해 가치를 창출하는 것이 아닌 시민, 기업의 아이디어와 역량을 함께 모아 정부가 해결할 수 없는 사회 현안을 해결한다는 관점에서 개방형 혁신(Open Innovation)과 매우 유사하다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 개방형 혁신이 처음 발표된 2003년부터 2018년 4월까지의 영문 초록 데이터로 LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation) 기반의 토픽모델링을 이용하여 개방형 혁신 연구 주제들을 도출하고, 도출된 주제간 토픽 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 정부혁신 종합추진계획의 추진과제와 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 개방형 혁신에 대한 연구 주제와 주제간 관계를 도출하고, 그 결과를 정부혁신 종합추진계획과의 비교를 통해 개방형 혁신 관련 우리나라 정책의 향후 발전방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

소비자의 외식관련 음식물 쓰레기에 대한 태도 및 감소 노력에 관한 연구 (A Study on Customer Attitude and Effort towards Reducing Food Waste When Dining Out)

  • As food waste problems become more severe, the need for reduction plans is increasing. Thus, this study aimed to discover the attitudes towards and the intentions to reduce restaurant food waste as well as the importance of and intentions to participate in reduction plans among adults customers A self-administrated questionnaire was given to 361 adults (216 men and 145 women) over 20 years old residing in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. According to the results, the respondents regarded restaurant food waste problems as serious (4.01). The biggest reason for leaving food was concern about hygiene (3.57), followed by tasting food (3.34) and portions that were too large (3.10). 57.6% responded that they try to reduce food waste when dining out. Women over 30 admitted to leaving food when dining out if the food did not taste as expected, if they had health concerns about additives such as condiments, and for body weight management. The overall average degree of awareness on the gravity of restaurant food waste problems was 4.06, indicating that respondents deeply empathized with the matter. Women showed higher alertness compared to men, and respondents in their 30s or over did more than those in their 20s. Also, respondents who try to reduce food waste when dining out had higher levels of concern than those who did not. According to the results from measuring the importance of and intention to participate in restaurant food waste reduction plans, taking away left-over food was the best option. In short, citizenship improvement campaigns should be designed for restaurants and related organizations in order to stimulate the need and effects of efforts to reduce dine-out food waste and induce aggressive participation by consumers. Diverse methods to increase actual consumer participation in food waste reduction plans that show high consumer participation intentions also needs to be developed.

가변형 공동주택의 공간 요소 특성 연구 - 국내외 가변형 공동주택을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Spatial Elements of Flexible Apartments - Focusing on Local and Foreign Flexible Apartments -)

  • In this study, by comparing the development and the space types of local and foreign flexible apartments, basic data will be derived for the development of various flexible types of apartments in Korea. A total of 60 unit plans, including 30 domestic cases and 30 overseas cases of flexible apartments, are analyzed for this study. In terms of the unit plan types, Korean apartments usually had a wide front bay with shallow depth, placing more rooms on the front bay; whereas foreign apartments tend to have various unit plan types: (1) a narrow front bay with deep depth, (2) a wide front bay with shallow depth, and (3) variegated open-plan types. Many apartments in foreign countries had a double-layered structure with the. upstairs and downstairs areas. In terms of the flexible types, many Korean apartments achieved interior flexibility using non-bearing wall or sliding doors; whereas foreign apartments had a flexible space by separating the support elements and the infill elements. There was found to be a close relationship between the location of support elements and the variability of unit plans. Support elements can be placed largely into three locations: (1) Between the front side bay and the rear side bay, (2) in the center bay of a unit plan, and (3) others. Depending on the location of support elements, various types of flexible unit plans can be created. Through a comparative analysis of domestic and foreign apartments, basic data that can be used for developing various flexible unit plans was derived.

전시 국민생활안정 유지방안 (Policy Plans for the Maintenance of Public Security of Living During the War)

  • Government duties in the cases of crisis are aimed at supporting efficient military operations in the fields of non-military affairs and resource mobilization, maintenance of government functions, and search for the public security of living during the war. In crisis, the government must change its functions into the total-war system with all resources available for the efficient performance of military operations, war economy, public safety and security as well as government continuance. The main contents of "Chung-Mu Plan" include the alternative measures to control the circulation of life necessities, emergency electricity, water and gas; recover public facilities from the disaster; and accommodate the wounded and refugees. Governments have practiced Ul-chi and ChungMoo exercises to improve government's management capabilities and master standard operating procedures including systematic distribution plans in the national and local level. However, such plans have not yet sufficient enough for the maintenance of public security of living. In addition to the conceptual ambiguity, major problems are the inappropriate system of the war economy, legal institutions, and administrative SOPs for the efficient maintenance of it. Thus, for the betterment of national crisis management system, the government should have the manual stated from every step and level dealing with crisis to the legal institutions. It is important to empower the National Emergency Planning Commission for the policy consistency and efficient/effective implementation. The comprehensive plans must have an integrated cooperative system of the central/local governments, military and civil society with actual practices and exercises for the maintenance of the public security of living.
