Chaotic behavior analysis in the mobile robot : the case of Chuas equation

  • In this paper, we propose that the chaotic behavior analysis in the mobile robot of embedding Chua's equation with obstacle. In order to analysis of chaotic behavior in the mobile robot, we apply not only qualitative analysis such as time-series, embedding phase plane, but also quantitative analysis such as Lyapunov exponent in the mobile robot with obstacle. In the obstacle, we only assume that all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface in which robot workspace has an unstable limit cycle with Van der Pol equation

  • A diagnosis system that provides early warnings regarding machine malfunction is very important for rolling mill so as to avoid great losses resulting from unexpected shutdown of the production line. But it is very difficult to provide early warnings in rolling mill. Because dynamics of rolling mill is non-linear. This paper shows a chaotic behaviour of vibration signal in rolling mill using embedding method. Not only phase plane and Poincare map are implemented but also FFT and histogram of vibration signal in rolling mill is presented by embedding method.

  • 회전체 베어링 상태진단에 신뢰성을 갖기 위하여 여러 가지 진단 방법이 연구되고 있으며, 이때 이용하는 변수는 온도와 소음, 진동 그리고 윤활유가 있으며 분석 방법으로는 온도추이분석, 소음분석, 진동분석, 윤활제 분석방법이 주로 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 압연기 베어링의 상태진단의 변수로 베어링의 진동 신호를 선택하고 이 진동신호에서 비선형성이 강한 신호 즉 카오스적 거동이 있음을 타켄스의 매립법과 포엔카레 단면을 이용하여 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, a method for the daily maximum load forecasting which uses a chaotic time series in power system and artificial neural network. We find the characteristics of chaos in power load curve and then determine a optimal embedding dimension and delay time. For the load forecast of one day ahead daily maximum power, we use the time series load data obtained in previous year. By using of embedding dimension and delay time, we construct a strange attractor in pseudo phase plane and the artificial neural network model trained with the attractor mentioned above. The one day ahead forecast errors are about 1.4% for absolute percentage average error.

  • 본 논문에서는 Arnold 방정식, Chua 방정식, 하이퍼카오스 방정식을 이동 로봇에 내장한 카오스 이동 로봇에서의 카오스 거동을 해석하였다. 이동 로봇에서의 카오스 거동을 분석하기 위해서 시계열데이터, 임베딩 위상공간의 정성적인 분석뿐만 아니라 리아프노프 지수와 같은 정량적인 분석을 수행하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose that the chaotic behavior analysis in the several Arnold chaos mobile robot of embedding some chaotic such as Arnold equation with obstacle. In order to analysis of chaotic behavior in the mobile robot, we apply not only qualitative analysis such as time-series, embedding phase plane, but also quantitative analysis such as Lyapunov exponent in the mobile robot with obstacle. We consider that there are two type of obstacle, one is fixed obstacle and the other is hidden obstacle which have an unstable limit cycle. In the hidden obstacles case, we only assume that all obstacles in the chaos trajectory surface in which robot workspace has an unstable limit cycle with Van der Pol equation.

  • 생산라인의 예기치 않은 운전정지로부터 손실을 피하기 위한 기기의 조기 경보 체제인 고장 진단 시스템은 매우 중요하다. 베어링은 베어링 자체가 비선형이기 때문에 초기에 베어링의 이상 진단을 행한다는 것은 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 압연기 베어링의 상태진단의 변수로 베어링의 진동 신호를 선택하고 이 진동신호에서 비선형성이 강한 신호 즉 카오스적 거동이 있음을 FFT, 타켄스의 매립법과 포엔카레 단면을 이용하여 확인하였다.
