불확정성의 도시 사회구조에서도 생존을 위한 뚜렷한 성향을 가지고 특성화를 구축하는 건축을 바이오모픽 건축이라고 본 연구에서 전제하고 연구를 시작하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 현대건축의 비정형적이고 새로운 형상의 건축으로 전개되어 가고 있는 바이오모픽 건축에 내재되어 있는 의미를 해석하여 바이오모픽 건축 발생의 유기체 철학적 배경을 분석하는 것이다. 바이오모픽 건축은 자율적 생존구조를 지닌 생명체 형상으로 생명체가 지닌 생명현상의 잠재력을 형태로 구체화한 건축이라고 정의하였다. 이론적 고찰을 통해 바이오모픽 건축의 특성은 유동적 생명현상의 형상화와 상호관계적 자기조직화와 사용자 경험의 활성화 지원으로 분석되었다. 바이오모픽 건축의 특성을 분석하여 바이오모픽 건축의 발생요인으로 유기체 철학을 도출하는 연구분석의 객관적 기준을 구체적 사유로서의 '생성'과 복잡성의 과학과 창발적 시스템을 중심으로 정리하였다. 바이오모픽 건축의 발생요인으로 유기체 철학을 중심으로 분석하였다. 새로운 건축의 유기체 철학을 중심으로 하는 발생배경에는 건축 관련 구성요소와 환경과의 유기체적인 통합의 특성이 작용되는 현상을 확인할 수 있다.

신자유주의의 광풍이 21세기 초의 경제공황을 가져왔다는 인식이 지배적인 상황에서 자유주의를 철학적으로 옹호하는 것은 갈수록 힘들어지고 있다. 그런 의미에서 이 논문은 '반시대적 고찰'일 수 있다. 그러나 현대 자유민주주의의 복권은 자유주의의 외부가 아니라 내부로부터 가능할 것이다. 자유주의의 급진적 재구성 작업에서 시장에 대한 철학적 성찰이 필수적이다. 시장의 철학은 시장의 본성을 해명한 다음, 시장질서와 민주질서의 복합 상관성에 대해 논구한다. 자본주의적 시장경제가 민주주의의 논리와 적대 관계에 서 있다는 입장이나, 시장이 민주질서와 선순환관계에 있다는 입론 모두 일면적이라는 사실을 논증한다. 나아가 시장질서와 민주질서의 대립구도에 '정치적인 것'의 이념을 대입시킬 때 급진자유주의의 기획이 명료화됨을 입론한다. 결론적으로 급진자유주의가 자유주의의 보편적 적실성과 한국사회에서의 구체적 타당성을 나눠가질 수 있는 하나의 사회철학적 기획임이 입론된다.

This study is a theoretical study on philosophical thinking for examining the idea of the corporate social responsibility(CSR) of a company. The oriental philosophical thought is to understand the contents of social responsibility of the corporation centering on Mozi's philosophy, which stresses that people should care for everyone equally. In the Western philosophical thought, we tried to understand the contents of corporate social responsibility by focusing on utilitarian thought. It is not merely an actual principle or a moral principle, but a comprehension for mutual benefit. In conclusion, it can be concluded that universal love's approach through the gangbang has many similarities with the realization of the greatest happiness of the number that is uttered in utilitarian thinking. In this way, a sustainable competitiveness of corporations can be achieved through universal love and utilitarian philosophical understanding and practice for the cognition of social responsibility.

필자는 최근 논문 "논란 없는 원리와 최원배 교수의 반론"에서 이른바 '논란 없는 원리'가 논란의 여지가 있다는 주장과 (연역추론으로서의) 전건 긍정식의 타당성이 양립함을 주장했다. 이러한 주장에 대해 최원배 교수는 그의 최근 논문 "논란 없는 원리와 전건 긍정식"에서 세 가지 비판을 제시한다. 첫째, 필자는 'A이면 (아마도) C이다. A이다. 따라서 C이다.' 형식의 추론이 전건 긍정식의 사례임을 부정하지만, 이와 같은 추론은 전건 긍정식의 사례로 간주될 수 있다. 둘째, 연역추론에 기반을 둔 직설법적 조건문과 귀납추론에 기반을 둔 직설법적 조건문을 구분해주는 문법상의 표식이 없기 때문에 이러한 조건문들을 전제로 하는 전건 긍정식들을 형식상 다른 종류의 추론들이라고 보기 어렵다. 셋째, 직설법적 조건문이 귀납추론에 의해 정당화되는 경우를 허용하면 논리개념이 지켜야 하는 조화의 원리를 어기게 된다. 이 논문에서 필자는 이 비판들이 모두 설득력이 없음을 주장한다.

Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) focuses on guided reinvention through which students explore experientially realistic context problems to develop informal problem solving strategies and solutions. This research applied this philosophy of RME to design a differential equation course at a university level. In particular, the course encouraged the students of the course to use numerical methods to solve differential equations. In this context, the purpose of this research was to describe the developmental process in which the students constructed and reinvented Euler algorithm in the class. For the purpose, this paper will present the didactical principle of RME and describe the process of developmental research to investigate the inferential process of students in solving the first order differential equation numerically. Finally, the qualitative analysis of the students' reasoning and use of symbols reveals how the students reinvent Euler algorithm under the didactical principle of guided reinvention. In this research, it has been found that the students developed deep understanding of Euler algorithm in the class. Moreover, it has been shown that the experience of doing mathematics in the course had a positive impact on students' mathematical belief and attitude. These findings imply that the didactical principle of RME can be applied to design university mathematical courses and in general, provide a perspective on how to reform mathematics curriculum at a university level.

모든 (의미론적) 반실재론자들은 모종의 검증원칙을 받아들인다. 그 원칙에는 반직관적인 강한 검증원칙과 상대적으로 그럴 듯한 약한 검증원칙의 두 가지 형태가 있다. 당연히 반실재론자들은 약한 검증원칙을 선호해왔는데, 이른바 지식가능성 역설은 사실 그 두 가지 형태의 검증원칙들이 동치라는 사실을 보여준다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 에징튼은 새로운 형태의 검증원칙을 제시하지만, 그녀의 검증원칙 역시 그 나름의 문제점을 안고 있다. 이 난점을 극복하기 위해, 에징튼은 반사실적 조건명제를 이용한 지식모형을 제공한 바 있다. 이 논문에서는 이 지식모형이 심각한 문제점을 안고 있다고 논할 것이다. 익히 알다시피, 비결정론적인 미시적 현상의 세계에서는 극히 낮은 물리적 확률에도 불구하고 간신히 일어나는데 성공하는 사실들이 존재한다. 필자는 이런 사실들과 연관된 반사실적 조건명제는 인식적 논파자의 존재로 말미암아 알려질 수 없으며, 따라서 에징튼의 지식모형은 많은 경우 작동하지 않는다고 논할 것이다.

This article deals with military thought in general. First I tried to distinguish 'thought' from 'theory', 'philosophy', and 'principle'. Thought means the act of thinking about or considering something, an idea or opinion, or a set of ideas about a particular subject, e.g. military affairs in the present discussion. Theory means a formal statement of the rules on which a subject of study is based or of ideas which are suggested to explain a fact or event or, more generally, an opinion or explanation. Philosophy means the use of reason in understanding such things as the nature of reality and existence, the use and limits of knowledge. Principle means a basic idea or rule that explains or controls how something happens or works. Chapter 3 summarized the characteristics of military thoughts into five points', (i) it is closely related with concrete experiences of a nation; (ii) it includes philosophical and logical arguments; (iii) it relies heavily on the political thought of a nation; (iv) it includes necessarily value-judgments; (v) it contains visions of a nation which are not only descriptions or explanations of military affairs, but also evaluations and advocacies. Chapter 4 considers the relation of international political thoughts to military thought. Throughout the history of the modem states system there have been three competing traditions of thought: the Hobbesian or realist tradition, which views international politics as a state of war; the Kantian or universalist tradition, which sees at work in international politics a potential community of mankind; and the Grotian or internationalist tradition, which views international politics as taking place within an international society. Chapter 5 considers the law of war, which is a body of law concerning acceptable justifications to engage in war (jus ad bellum) and the limits to acceptable wartime conduct (jus in bello). Among other issues, modem laws of war address declarations of war, acceptance of surrender and the treatment of prisoners of war, military necessity along with distinction and proportionality, and the prohibition of certain weapons that may cause unnecessary suffering.

최근의 급속한 정보화 사회로의 전환에 편승하여 이산수학에 대한 관심과 이에 따른 연구가 활발해지고 있으며, 제 7차 교육과정에서 이산수학을 선택과목으로 지정할 만큼 그 중요성이 인정되고 있다. 본 연구는 네트워크문제와 관련된 이중계수 문제, 한붓그리기, 그리고 도로망문제를 중심으로, 초등 수학영재학생을 위한 학습프로그램을 구성하는 문제와 관련된 교수학적 변환에 대하여 논의하였다.

괴델은 '수학은 언어의 구문론인가?'라는 미출간 논문에서 그가 '구문론적 해석'이라고 부르는 카르납의 관점을 비판한다. 박일호, 전영삼, 어워디와 캐러스, 리켓츠, 테넌트 등은 괴델의 논변을 여러 가지 방식으로 재구성하고, 카르납의 가능한 대응을 검토해 왔다. 이 논문은 수학의 성격에 대한 괴델과 카르납의 논쟁을 재현한 뒤 대부분의 기존 논의를 비판하고 다음과 같은 새로운 기여를 하려 한다. 먼저 여러 학자가 카르납의 견해로 지적한 '언어 상대성'이 과장되었다고 주장한다. 오히려 괴델 비판의 핵심은 수학의 적용 문제이며 '기대가능성'에 기초한 논변이다. 따라서 카르납이 수학의 적용, 특히 과학에의 적용을 어떻게 보았는지를 논의하여 괴델에 응답한다. 그 과정에서 기존 논의가 간과한 카르납의 '대응 원리'가 핵심적인 역할을 한다고 주장한다. 마지막으로 괴델 불완전성 정리의 진정한 함축인 수학의 소진불가능성은 카르납과 괴델 자신이 정확히 동의하는 부분이라고 주장한다.

오늘날 다원적 가치의 문화 환경에서 '어울림'이란 그 고유한 문화를 지속케 할 수 있는 생명적 원리이다. 글쓴이는 한글창제의 디자인 적 의의와 한글의 조형성과 우수성에 대한 평가 준거를 어울림의 관점에서 제시함으로써 '넓은 뜻의 디자인'이라는 지평에서 '한글의 디자인적 의의'를 조명해 보려 한다. 이러한 관점에서 훈민정음 창제의 큰 뜻은 '다름'에 대한 깨달음의 실천, 사람을 '어엿비 여기는' 인본주의적 생각, 배우고 쓰기 '쉬움'에 바탕을 두고 있었고, 철학적 터전은 동양의 근본 사상인 태극 음양오행설에 두었다. 한글이란 사람 소리를 자연 철학적 관점에서 보고 그 소리의 생성과 조직을 음양오행의 역학에서 추출한 성운학 이론과 원리에 따라 과학적이고 체계적인 글자로 디자인한 것이다. 곧 뜻과 꼴이 맞는 어울림이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 훈민정음 창제를 디자인 적 관점에서 보아, 제 모습 제 말에 어울리는 생명 적이고 질서 있는 시스템이자, 자연 성음의 원리에 맞고, 끝없이 구르고 변통 자재하는 유기적 디자인의 탄생으로 보았다. 나아가 한글 창제에 담긴 넓고 깊은 뜻과 포부가 '어울림'의 뜻에 맞는 완전함을 지향하는 '큰_디자인 짓'으로 규정하고, '어울림' 디자인 가치의 전형으로 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해, '훈민정음 창제 정신을 되짚어 보며, 어울림'이 새로운 디자인 사상을 잉태하는 씨앗으로서, 표현적 가치와 잣대로, 또 이 시대의 디자인을 풍요롭게 하는 슬기로 작용하기를 바란다.
