The frequency and phase angle of the utility voltage are important in many industrial systems. In the three-phase system, they can be easily known by using the utility voltage vector. However, in the case of single phase system, there are some difficulties in detecting the information of utility voltage. In conventional system, the zero-crossing detection method is widely used, but could not obtain the information of utility voltage instantaneously. In this paper, the new digital PLL control using virtual two phase detector is proposed with a detailed analysis of single-phase digital PLL control for utility connected systems. The experimental results under various utility conditions are presented and demonstrate an excellent phase tracking capability in the single-phase grid-connected operation.
This paper deals with drive characteristics of LSRM according to position detection angle. Position of LSRM detected approximation sensor. Position choose mover of LSRM and inductance. When approved current in each phase by decided position, we made sure current and voltage according to turn-on, turn-off.
In this paper, a flux linkage model based on four magnetization curves fitting is proposed for three-phase 12/8 switched reluctance motor (SRM), with the analysis of the basic principle of flux detection method and function analysis method. In the model, the single value function mapping relationship between position angle and flux is established, which can achieve a direct estimation of rotor position. The realization scheme of SRM indirect position detection system is presented. It is proved by simulation and experiment that the proposed scheme is suitable for rotor position detection of SRM, and has high accuracy of position estimation.
As a part of trajectory modulation to increase system survivability and terminal effectiveness, impact angle control is required in the terminal phase of tactical missile systems. The missile systems are not allowed to have high altitude to reduce probability of detection by sensors of missile defense systems. In this paper, an analytic form of a time-optimal control law is suggested in the case of constrained missile maneuverability and impact angle under the assumption of a zero-lag autopilot. The control law is obtained by establishing optimal missile-target engagement geometry in the vertical plane. Extension of the law for missiles with autopilot response lags requiring a numerical solution is studied by introducing an iterative algorithm for optimal switching time determination of which the initial switching instants are obtained from the analytic solution. Also suggested is a closed-form impact angle control law derived by an energy-optimal approach. The performances of the proposed guidance laws are evaluated by a series of computer runs.
Most faults are single-phase-to-ground fault in ungrounded system. The fault currents of single-phase-to-ground are much smaller than detection thresholds of measurement devices, so detecting single-phase-to-ground faults is difficult and important in ungrounded system. The protection coordination method using SGR(Selective Ground Relay) and OVGR(Overvoltage Ground Relay) is generally used in ungrounded system. But this method only detects fault line and it has the possibility of malfunction. This paper proposed to advanced protection coordination method in ungrounded system. The method just using zero-sequence current can detect fault line, fault phase, fault section at terminal device. The general protection method is used to back up protection. In the case study, the proposed method has been testified in demo system by Matlab/Simulink simulations.

This paper proposed to a FI(Fault Indicator) generation algorithm in ungrounded system. The algorithm just using line-to-line voltage and zero-sequence current detects fault line, fault phase, fault section and FI(Fault Indicator) at terminal device, This paper also proposed to application plan for this algorithm. A three branches vortical Hall sensor for detecting rotation angle of brushless motor has fabricated. The sensor is constructed three branches of $150{\mu}m$ width and $300{\mu}m$ distance from central electrode to Hall electrode. Each branch has one Hall output and one Hall input. The central electrode acts as common driving input. According to rotation angle change of brushless motor, sensor gives three position signals phase shifted by $120^{\circ}$. The sensitivity of sensor is 200V/A$\cdot$T at magnetic field of 0.1 T and constant driving current of 1mA. It has also showed three sine waves of Hall output voltages with $120^{\circ}$ phase over one motor rotation. The noise can limit sensor's resolution. We have measured sensor's noise characteristics. The detectable minimum magnetic field is $20{\mu}T$ at driving current 1mA, measured frequency 1 kHz and bandwidth$({\Delta}f)$ of 1Hz.
This paper proposes a frequency-locked loop (FLL) scheme for a single-phase grid-connected converter. A second-order generalized integrator (SOGI) based on fuzzy logic (FL) is applied to this converter to achieve precise phase angle detection. The use of this method enables the compensation of the nonlinear characteristic of the frequency error, which is defined in the SOGI scheme as the variation of the central frequency through the self-tuning gain. With the proposed scheme, the performance of the SOGI-FLL is further improved at the grid disturbances, which results in the stable operation of the grid converter under grid voltage sags or frequency variation. The PSIM simulation and experimental results are shown to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
In this study, nanofiber-based textile sensors were developed for motion detection and monitoring. Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) nanofibers containing zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles and silver nanowires (AgNW) were fabricated using electrospinning. PVDF was chosen as a piezoelectric polymer, zinc oxide as a piezoelectric ceramic, and AgNW as a metal to improve electric conductivity. The PVDF/ZnO/AgNW nanocomposite fibers were used to develop a textile sensor, which was then incorporated into an elbow band to develop a wearable smart band. Changes in the output voltage and peak-to-peak voltage (Vp-p) generated by the joint's flexion and extension were investigated using a dummy elbow. The β-phase crystallinity of pure PVDF nanofibers was 58% when analyzed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy; however, the β-phase crystallinity increased to 70% in PVDF nanofibers containing ZnO and to 78% in PVDF nanocomposite fibers containing both ZnO and AgNW. The textile sensor's output voltage values varied with joint-bending angle; upon increasing the joint angle from 45° to 90° to 150°, the Vp-p value increased from 0.321 Vp-p to 0.542 Vp-p to 0.660 Vp-p respectively. This suggests that the textile sensor can be used to detect and monitor body movements.

In this paper, an optimal guidance law with terminal angle constraint considering the seeker's lock-on condition, in which the target is located within the field-of-view (FOV) and detection range limits at the end of the midcourse phase, is proposed. The optimal solution is obtained by solving an optimal control problem minimizing the energy cost function weighted by a power of range-to-go subject to the terminal constraints, which can shape the guidance commands and the missile trajectories adjusting guidance gains of the weighting function. The proposed guidance law can be applied to both of the midcourse and terminal phases by setting the desired relative range and look angle to the final interception conditions. The performance of the proposed guidance law is analyzed through nonlinear simulations for various engagement conditions.
