  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine factors influencing health-related quality of life in middle and old adult one-person households. Method: This study carried out secondary analysis using the data from the $7^{th}$ Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Subject samples who were selected are 497 middle and old adult one-person households over 40 years. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simple and multiple regression techniques with the SPSS/WIN 24 program. Result: Factors influencing health-related quality of life in middle adult one-person households were activity limitation, depression, exercise, smoking habits with 57% prediction. In male old adult one-person households they were subjective health, metabolic syndrome, activity limitation, perceived stress with 44.8% prediction and in female old adult one-person households they were subjective health, activity limitation, home income with 35.9% prediction. Conclusion: Therefore, to improve their health-related quality of life it needs to develop & to apply national and local promotion policy and intervention program on health-related quality of life of middle and old adult one-person households.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the nursing practice environment, moral distress, and the factors that influence person-centered care and the experience of person-centered care among nurses working in a long-term care hospitals. 154 nurses who was working in long-term care hospitals in D city and G province were evaluated. Date were collected from May 1st to 31th, 2020 and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. The mean score of nursing practice environment was 2.42, the moral distress was 3.27, and person-centered care was 3.60. Person-centered care showed significantly positive correlations with moral distress(r=.53, p<.001) and showed significantly positive correlations with nursing practice environment(r=.32, p<.001). Regression analysis revealed that the factors which significantly influenced person-centered care were nursing practice environment and moral distress. Therefore, in order to increase person-centered care, nursing intervention programs that improve the nursing practice environment and reduce moral disgtress are required for nurses working in long-term care hospitals.

  • Korea's housing structure is predicted that one-person housing will be the most common type of housing in Korea. Therefore, this study intends to derive contents for designing a one-person housing space considering the life of a rapidly increasing one-person householder. For this purpose, this study objectively derives the social, economic and cultural influencing factors of one-person households through big data analysis, and analyzed the correlation between contents using social network analysis methodology. In this paper, 60 core contents related to one person housing space were derived by applying big data analysis methodology. And through social network analysis, the most influential contents were derived from the space editing and space composition categories. This means that the residential space is an important part of the design idea that can flexibly respond to changes in the user's life. Based on this study, future research will focus on the concept and design methodology of one-person housing space.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate difference between walking practice and happiness of one-person households according to the life cycles. This is a secondary analysis study using data from the 2021 Community Health Survey. The data were analyzed using SPSS 25 program for composite sample statistical analysis. As a result, in old age, there were many women, low education, and non-economic activities, and there were many basic living and less than 7 hours of sleep. The walking practice of one-person households was low in youth, middle age, and old age of one-person households. The level of happiness by life cycles of one-person households was 6.69 points in youth, 6.43 points in old age, and 6.19 points in middle age, and the happiness of middle age was the lowest. In youth, middle age, and old age of one-person households, there was a significant differences in happiness depending on walking practice. Therefore, social, welfare, and policy strategies should be developed to encourage walking to improve happiness of one-person households.

  • The inspection of bridge condition is of extreme importance. Current inspection codes for bridge inspection are vague and uncertain. So, the results are highly subjective and different from person to person and even day to day for a given person. To circumvent possible inconsistencies in inspection and rating of bridge components, the revised inspection guidelines have been proposed.

  • The purpose of this study is to assess the associations among person-environment fit, organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment and turnover intent in the foodservice industry. The study was administered to 306 Korean employees. The results indicated a positive relationship between person-environment fit, employees' organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment. However, person-environment fit did not have a significant, direct impact on their turnover intent. Thus, this study found an indirect influence via organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment. In addition, organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment were negatively associated with employees' intention to leave the organization. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

  • The current Navigation System for the Visually Impaired Person has a short and limited communication distance and can't receive enough information from Visually Impaired Person to assist directly. In addition, because the path is dangerous and incomplete for the Visually Impaired Person, moving with White Stick is still inconvenient and dangerous. To solve this problem we implement communication that can send and receive video, voice, location information between the Visually Impaired Person's Android platform and assistant's PC.

  • The primary objective of the research is to develop a mathematical method to incorporate the variability of anthropometric body dimensions and joint strengths of individuals in a biomechanical analysis. A multivariate normal simulation model estimated anthropometric body dimensions and joint strengths of the random link-person, based on the assumptions that the vari- ables of body dimensions and joint strengths are correlated and follow normal distributions. Statistical comparative analysis demonstrated that the random link-person represented a more realistic human-like form in an anthropometric sense than the proportional link-person whose body dimensions were estimated proportionally. Estimated joint strengths for the random link-person, however, did not match the measured joint strengths as closely as the estimated body dimensions. The random link-person will allow biomechanical analysis of manual materials handling tasks to be individualized with respect to the anthropometry and a static strength.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate parental emotion regulation and children's understanding of emotional display rules. 31 boys and 29 girls of the first and fourth grades and their parents were selected for the subject. Sixty children were interviewed on eight interpersonal conflict situations and parent completed the PACES(Saarni, 1985) separately. The main results of this study were as follows. 1) Children's understanding of emotional display rules increased with age. 2) Children's primary justification for using emotional display rules was self-protective one. Girls used more often prosocial justification than boys. 3) Parental emotion regulation was significantly different between the two contexts: a child might cause another person substantial emotional distress and a child didn't cause another person substantial emotional distress. 4) Parental regulation was differed by children's age in the context that the child might cause another person substantial emotional distress. 5) Father's regulation was differed by children's sex in the context that the child might cause another person substantial emotional distress. 6) Maternal regulation was positively correlated to the level of emotional display rules in the context that the child might cause another person substantial emotional distress.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the types and characteristics of temporary small-sized housing units for single-person households. A document research method and case studies were used to analyze and classified the spatial characteristics and types of the temporary dwelling spaces since 2000. Findings of this study were as follows: temporary and simplified dwelling spaces were developed by the concept of impermanence for single-person households in modern society. In order to conform the concept of temporary dwelling for small-sized housing units of single-person households, the characteristics were divided into three aspects. 'Transporting' by wheel and rotation and vehicles, 'Transforming' by adapting, assembling disassembling, and folding unfolding, and 'Wearing Carrying' by inflatable and tented types. It attempted to resolve the concept of temporarity through the experiment so that they might apply to the space of contemporary city.
