중국인의 색지각 특성에 관한 연구 -한국, 중국과 일본 3국인의 색지각 특성비교를 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics of the Color Perception of Chinese People : Focused on a Comparison of the Characteristics of Color Perception among Korean, Chinese and Japanese People)

  • The purpose of this study is investigate the characteristics of color perception among Chinese people, and compare the characteristics among Korean, Chinese and Japanese people, using Munsell color space. The results are as follows: 1) Chinese people were more likely to tell accurately red, yellow red, yellow, purple, and an achromatic color, but did not do accurately green yellow, blue, and purple blue. In terms of a comparison of average perceived color and standard color, there were significant differences among green yellow, blue green, and blue and standard color; 2) Color perceptions of Korean, Chinese and Japanese people were broadly classified into four types. Also, of ten chromatic colors, the color perception type of only two colors, red and yellow, were is same among the groups of the three countries. However, the color perception type of yellow red, green, blue green and blue were different among them; and 3) In terms of a color perception accuracy test among the groups of the three countries, there were not significant differences between yellow and purple and standard color. However, significant differences existed between the rest of the colors and standard color.

Verification of Effectiveness and Satisfaction Survey for the Korean Computer-based Cognitive Rehabilitation Programs(CoTras)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of the computerized cognitive rehabilitation program in which areas and to suggest effective ways to utilize the program in the future, being conducted for 20 college students. We lasted this study from May 3 to 23, 2021. As a result of analyzing the groups using the Computer-based Cognitive Rehabilitation Program (CoTras), in terms of the difference in accuracy for the case of visual perception group B was statistically significantly improved than group C(p<0.05). In the case of attention, memory, and orientation, there was no significant difference between groups(p>0.05). In the case of reaction time difference, there was no significant difference between groups in visual perception, concentration, memory, and orientation(p>0.05). And in order to improve attention and visual perception, it is recommended to conduct the program three times with a duration of 20 minutes, and in order to improve orientation and memory, it can be said that it is helpful to conduct one experiment for at least 30 minutes rather than conducting short and frequent experiments. Through this study, we found that it is effective to apply different times according to each area to improve cognitive function. In other words, depending on the purpose of which cognitive function is to be improved, the duration of the program should be applied differently.

군 간부와 지역주민 간 군 가족복지 지원 인식의 상호지향성 (Mutually Perceive between Military Executive Members and Local Residents on the Military Family Welfare Support)

  • 본 연구는 군 가족복지 지원인식에 대한 군 간부와 지역주민 간 상호지향성을 알아보기 위해 군 간부 217명, 지역주민 191명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 두 집단 간 인식의 객관적 일치도에서, 군 간부들은 지역사회의 지원 필요성을 보다 높게 인식하고 있으며, 두 집단 간 인식은 불일치하였다. 둘째, 두 집단 간 인식의 주관적 일치도(1)에서, 군 간부의 실제 지원인식 정도와 군 간부 추정 지역주민의 지원인식 간에는 상호 불일치하였다. 주관적 일치도(2)에서, 지역주민의 실제 지원인식과 지역주민 추정 군 간부의 요구 간에는 상호 불일치하였다. 셋째, 두 집단 간 인식의 정확도(1)에서, 군 간부는 지역사회에 보다 더 높은 지원을 요구하는 반면, 지역주민이 추정하기에 군 간부들은 지역사회 지원 요구가 그다지 높지 않을 것이라고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 정확도(2)에서, 지역주민의 실제 지원인식과 군이 추정한 지역주민의 지원인식 간에는 일치하지 않았다. 넷째, 두 집단 간 인식의 메타동의에서, 군 가족복지 지원에 대하여 군 간부가 추정하고 있는 지역주민 인식과 지역주민이 추정하고 있는 군 간부의 인식은 낮은 수준에서 일치한 것으로 나타났다.

등시지각 색 샘플링에 기반한 $CIEL^{*}a^{*}b^{*}$-CMY로의 비선형 색변환 ($CIEL^{*}a^{*}b^{*}$-CMY nonlinear color transformation based on equi-visual perception color sampling)

  • The color space transformation to link device-dependent color spaces and device-independent color spaces is essential for device characterization and cross-media color reproduction. There are various color conversion methods such as regression, 3D interpolation with LUT(look-up table), and neural network. In the color transformation with these methods, the conversion accuracy is essentially based on the sample data to be exploited for device characterization. In conventional method, color samples are uniformly selected in device-dependent space such as CMY and RGB. However, distribution of these color samples is very non-uniform in device-independent color space such as CIEL*a*b*. Accordingly, the conversion error in device-independent color space is irregular according to the distribution of the samples. In this paper, a color sampling method based on equi-visual perception is proposed to obtain approximate uniform color samples in CIEL*a*b* space. In order to evaluate transformation accuracy of proposed method, color space transformations are simulated using regression, 3D interpolation with LUT and neural network techniques, respectively.

  • QR 코드는 스티커 형태로 인쇄되어 설치비용이 저가로 위치 인식하기 위한 천장이나 벽면에 인공지표를 붙이는 위치 인식 방식과 비전으로 위치 인식을 하는 방식에 비교하여 위치 인식 정확도 면이나 설치비용 면에서 많은 장점을 보유하고 있어 모든 산업에 전반적으로 적용 가능한 로봇을 만든다. 본 연구에서는 정사각형 2차원 바코드를 통해 오차범위는 3 mm 이내 로봇에 적용하는 기술로 정확도가 뛰어나 정확한 위치제어가 가능한 로봇을 만들 수 있음을 보여주며, 특히 여러 공학 기술이 합쳐진 융합연구는 QR 코드 인식 실내이동 로봇제어 연구의 시스템 구성을 중심으로 기술한 것이다.

Efficient Recognition of Easily-confused Chinese Herbal Slices Images Using Enhanced ResNeSt

  • Chinese herbal slices (CHS) automated recognition based on computer vision plays a critical role in the practical application of intelligent Chinese medicine. Due to the complexity and similarity of herbal images, identifying Chinese herbal slices is still a challenging task. Especially, easily-confused CHS have higher inter-class and intra-class complexity and similarity issues, the existing deep learning models are less adaptable to identify them efficiently. To comprehensively address these problems, a novel tiny easily-confused CHS dataset has been built firstly, which includes six pairs of twelve categories with about 2395 samples. Furthermore, we propose a ResNeSt-CHS model that combines multilevel perception fusion (MPF) and perceptive sparse fusion (PSF) blocks for efficiently recognizing easilyconfused CHS images. To verify the superiority of the ResNeSt-CHS and the effectiveness of our dataset, experiments have been employed, validating that the ResNeSt-CHS is optimal for easily-confused CHS recognition, with 2.1% improvement of the original ResNeSt model. Additionally, the results indicate that ResNeSt-CHS is applied on a relatively small-scale dataset yet high accuracy. This model has obtained state-of-the-art easily-confused CHS classification performance, with accuracy of 90.8%, far beyond other models (EfficientNet, Transformer, and ResNeSt, etc) in terms of evaluation criteria.

항공관제 전문성 수준에 따른 시각정보 판독과 미래정보 예측 차이 (Expert-Novice Differences in Reading and Predicting Visual Information in Air Traffic Control)

  • Many studies have shown that having perception of spatial information is important for air traffic control officer (ATCO) since it helps them understand the current situation and predict the situation it leads to. However, little or no research has been done to investigate if there is any difference at the levels of expertise in perceiving spatial information and predicting a prospective situation. This study investigates the difference between expert and novice ATCO groups in how accurately each group of ATCO perceive spatial information such as position, altitude, speed, and flying direction, and predicting such information they will encounter shortly. In completing a task to watch the movement of airplanes displayed on the computer monitor as a blip, the participants were asked to predict the position, speed, and the altitude of the aircraft in a minute by marking on the sector map. The results show that the expert group performed better in accuracy and had tendency to overestimate on position and altitude; however, no significant difference was found between the two groups in terms of reading a flying direction. Therefore reading a flying direction may not be a reliable indicator to judge expertise of ATCO. But the expert group shows better predicting performance by perceiving spatial information such as airplane's position and altitude with feeling on time. The study suggests that it is important to enhance perceptive skills in ATCO training in improving their expertise in predicting accuracy traffic situation, preventing from air collision, and improving productivity for more efficient air traffic flow. A further study on the relationship between the perception of spatial information and the sense of time in predicting future information and effectiveness as an independent factor would contribute to providing more insights into expertise of ATCOs.

화자 연령 지각과 음성적 특성: 음높이와 발화 속도를 중심으로 (Speaker age estimation and acoustic characteristics: According to pitch and speech rate)

  • 본고는 한국인 피험자를 대상으로 지각 실험을 진행하여 화자의 실제 연령(Chronological age)과 지각 연령(Perceived age) 간의 상관관계를 살피고, 한국인 피험자가 얼마나 정확하게 익명의 화자의 연령을 지각할 수 있는지를 밝히고자 한다. 또한, 이러한 연령 지각에 음성적 단서가 되는 음높이와 발화 속도와 지각 연령 간의 영향 관계를 검토하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 성인 80명을 대상으로 3가지 과제로 구성된 지각 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 자극은 표준어 화자 40명에게서 추출되었으며, 자유 발화, 낭독 발화, 모음 연장 발성으로 구성되었다. 각 실험은 10초 내외의 음성을 듣고 연령을 구체적인 숫자로 답하는 방식으로 진행되었다. 분석 결과, 한국인 피험자들은 상당히 높은 판단 정확도를 보였으며, 모음 연장 발성을 들었을 때보다 자유 발화와 낭독 발화를 들었을 때 화자의 연령을 더욱 정확하게 짐작하였다. 이러한 결과는 음성이 포함하고 있는 정보량의 차이에 기인한 것으로 보인다. 또한, 음성 분석을 수행한 결과 피험자들은 화자의 음높이와 발화 속도를 참고하여 화자의 연령을 추정하는 것으로 나타났으며, 음높이보다는 발화 속도가 연령 지각에 더 적극적으로 기여한 것으로 나타났다.

외식 영양정보 표시의 이용과 속성에 대한 소비자 인식 (Customers' Use of Menu Labeling in Restaurants and Their Perceptions of Menu Labeling Attributes)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine restaurant customers' use of menu labeling and their perception of menu labeling attributes. Further, the study investigated relations of menu labeling use behavior, and perception of menu labeling attributes with behavioral intentions toward menu labeling. Using a self-administered survey conducted for 2 weeks from the 2nd week of October, 2015, data were collected from restaurant customers who were exposed to menu labeling over 3 months at the time of the survey. A total of 426 respondents completed the survey. Respondents were asked about use of menu labeling, usefulness, ease of understanding, accuracy, and demographic information. There was a difference in menu labeling use behavior according to age, whereas respondents aged 50 years or over showed significantly higher use of menu labeling than those in 20s (P<0.001). Perceptions of menu labeling attributes positively affected behavioral intentions towards menu labeling. While all three menu labeling attributes, 'usefulness', 'ease of understanding', and 'accuracy', were positive factors for behavioral intentions towards menu labeling, usefulness was the biggest attribute explaining behavioral intentions (P<0.001). The study findings offer implications that can be applied to academics, the foodservice industry, and government in an attempt to nurture a healthy eating environment through provision of nutritional information at restaurants.

한미 대학생의 색지각에 대한 비교연구 (The Comparison of Color Perception between Korean and American undergrauates)

  • 본 연구는 육안비색법으로 파악한 13개의 미국표준색을 색채색차계를 이용하여 측색하여 미국표준색에 대한 남녀대학생의 색지각 범위를 CIE색도도 위에서 파악하여 이를 한국의 결과와 비교하는데 그 목적이 있다. 남자 60명, 여자 51명 계 111명의 미국대학생을 대상으로 한 실험결과 다음과 같은 사항을 밝혔다. 1) 눈동자 색에 따른 색지각의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 2) 미국대학생의 색지각은 크게 4가지 유형으로 구분되었다. 즉 Yellow, Green, Blue, White, Gray, Black이 속한 단순형, Yellow Red가 속한 X형, Blue Green, Purple이 속한 Y형, Yellow Red, Purple Blue가 속한 복합형이다. 3) 한미 양국인의 색지각유형을 비교한 결과, Yellow Red, Green, Blue, Purple의 경우는 지각유형이 다르다는 것을 알았다. 4) 표준색과 평균지각색을 비교한 결과, 모든 색에서 표준색과 평균 지각색 간의 차이가 크다. 그리고 한미간의 비교를 한 결과, 한국인이 미국인보다 정확하게 색을 지각하고 있음을 알았다. 5) 표준색과 1순위 지각색을 비교한 결과, 미국인은 Red, Yellow, Green은 비교적 정확하게 지각하고 있으나, Blue Green, Blue, Purple Blue, Red Purple의 색지각 정확도는 매우 낮았다.
