  • We establish a tripled coincidence and common tripled fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings satisfying new contractive condition. To find tripled coincidence points, we do not use the continuity of any mapping involved therein. An example is also given to validate our result. We improve, extend and generalize several known results.

  • We establish a coupled coincidence and common coupled fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings under generalized non-linear contraction. An example supporting to our result has also been cited. We improve, extend and generalize several known results.

  • Recently, Ghim and Son (1993) compared the air quality impacts of two point sources P1 and P3 in Seoul in the first quarter of 1988, whose emission rates were 99.9g/s and 49.4g/s, and whose stack heights were 75m and 21m. They said that higher concentrations from P3 in the nearby area were responsible for shorter stack height of P3. But concentrations were not raised so high only because the stack height was reduced from 75m to 21m. Volume of exit gas from P3 was also much smaller than that from P1.

  • We define the coincidence index of pairs of maps p, f : $\widetilde{X}$ $\rightarrow$ X where p is a covering of a polyhedron X. We use a polyhedral transversality Theorem due to T. Plavchak. When p=identity we get the classical fixed point index of self map of polyhedra without using homology.

  • In this paper we propose new large-update primal-dual inte-rior point algorithms for $P_*(\kappa)$ linear complementarity problems(LCPs). New search directions and proximity measures are proposed based on the kernel function$\psi(t)=\frac{t^{p+1}-1}{p+1}+\frac{e^{\frac{1}{t}}-e}{e}$,$p{\in}$[0,1]. We showed that if a strictly feasible starting point is available, then the algorithm has $O((1+2\kappa)(logn)^{2}n^{\frac{1}{p+1}}log\frac{n}{\varepsilon}$ complexity bound.

  • This paper describes UPnP AV System which provides various multimedia services in home network composed of diverse multimedia devices. It is difficult to build home network where various multimedia services can be provided because there are a lot of difference devices, platforms, and network technologies. However, UPnP middleware can make up multimedia service environment in that home network. Therefore this paper describes how the multimedia service environment is built with UPnP middleware. We analyze and modify MediaServer, MediaRenderer, and Control Point, which these are the components of UPnP AV archtecture. Additionally we provide some efficient GUI to use different kind of multimedia in any place of home networks. We propose UPnP AV Framework of playback module that consist of MediaServer providing contents, MediaRenderer using contents, and Control Point providing GUI. Especially, MediaRenderer and Control Point are integrated in set-top.

  • This paper presents the two modes for maximum power point tracking of the photovoltaic system. The method combines the merits of the two methods consisting of the open circuit method and the three point weight comparison method. The maximum point found by this method is exactly than by the open circuit method. By the simulation results, the actual maximum point can be found that is better than the Perturb and Observe (P&O) method or the three point weight method only one method, especially, in the case of non regular pattern of Power-Voltage (P-V) curve.

  • Since efficiency of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is important for photovoltaic systems, a number of MPPT algorithms have already been researched for other environment, however, the most of MPPT algorithms can't track maximum point in dynamic irradiation. In this paper, P&O and 3-Point MPPT which is more specialized in dynamic irradiation are compared in basis of European Efficiency Test(EN50530). The efficiency of 3-Point MPPT algorithm is proved by simulation and experiment. In result, 3-Point MPPT shows higher efficiency in dynamic irradiation and less affected by environment than P&O.
