Ionosphere is deeply coupled to the space environment and introduces the perturbations to radio signal because of its electromagnetic characteristics. Therefore, the status of ionosphere can be estimated by analyzing the GPS signal errors which are penetrating the ionosphere and it can be the key to understand the global circulation and change in the upper atmosphere, and the characteristics of space weather. We used 9 GPS Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS), which have been operated by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) , to determine the high precision of Total Electron Content (TEC) and the pseudorange data which is phase-leveled by a linear combination with carrier phase to reduce the inherent noise. We developed the method to model a regional ionosphere with grid form and its results over South Korea with $0.25^{\circ}\;by\;0.25^{\circ}$ spatial resolution. To improve the precision of ionosphere's TEC value, we applied IDW (Inverse Distance Weight) and Kalman Filtering method. The regional ionospheric model developed by this research was compared with GIMs (Global Ionosphere Maps) preduced by Ionosphere Working Group for 8 days and the results show $3\~4$ TECU difference in RMS values.

This paper describes new communication methods for transmitting torque commands between the vehicle controller that determines the amount of power generation in a range-extended electric vehicle and the engine controller that performs it. Generally, vehicles use CAN communication, but in this case, the hardware and software of the existing engine controller must be modified. For this reason, it is not easy to apply CAN communication to small and medium sized automotive reorganize companies. Therefore, this research presents a pin-pin communication method for applying the existing mass produced engine controller to range-extended electric vehicles. The pin-pin communication method converts the driver's demand torque control map inside an mass produced engine controller into a virtual accelerator opening position according to the target speed and target torque of the engine, and converts this to a voltage signal for the existing mass produced engine controller to recognize it. The virtual accelerator opening positions are mounted in the form of a control map in the vehicle controller through the reverse conversion process in an offline environment and are determined by the engine generating power requirements and engine optimal operating point algorithm. These algorithms and signal conversion circuits for engine torque transmission have been mounted on the vehicle controller to conduct the virtual accelerator opening position conversion process according to the engine target torque and to establish the virtual accelerator voltage signal using the signal converter.
In the age of ubiquitous environment, huge number of devices and computing services are provided to users. Personalized service, which is modeled according to the character of each and every individual is of particular need. In order to provide various dynamic services according to user's movement, service unit and operating mode should be able to operate automatically with minimum user intervention. In this paper, we discuss the steps of offering approximate service based on user's request in ubiquitous environment. First, we present our simulator designed for modeling the physical resource and computing object in smart space - the infrastructure in ubiquitous. Second, intelligent agents, which we developed based on a FIPA specification compliant multi-agent framework will be discussed. These intelligent agents are developed for achieving the service goal through cooperation between distributed agents. Third, we propose an automated service discovery and composition method in heterogeneous environment using semantic message communication between agents, according to the movement by the user interacting with the service available in the smart space. Fourth, we provide personalized service through agent monitoring anytime, anywhere from user's profile information stored on handhold device. Therefore, our research provides high quality service more than general automated service operation.

Automated rainfall warning system is a facility to prevent casualties who were recreating in the down stream region with operating lead broadcasting or signaling warning automatically when torrential rainfall occurs in mountainous area. But standard of conventional warning does not consider the characteristics of basin, and warning signal. Evacuation signal 1 and evacuation signal 2 are uniformly signaled when the 10minute moving total of observed rainfall is higher than 4 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm respectively. therefore, local governments and relative agencies had re-established the standard of warning by analyzing the risk water level, critical discharge and reference rainfall, which are considering the characteristics of basin. In this study the standard of conventional and re-established warning of weolseong basin, which is available to acquire a real rainfall. There are analyzed by considering the risk water level, critcal discharge and reference rainfall. Also this study compares rainfall of conventional and re-established warning standard and indentifies problems by analyzing adequacy of rainfall estimation for warning and proposes alternative. The standard of conventional warning which investigates with the converted rainfall(unit of a minute) issued too many alarm. The re-established standard upward has the necessity which will be regulated about the alarm announcement number of times. Considers the safety, upward regulation of alarm standard rainfall is a necessity which will be prudent.

This paper was studied in two ways with respect to the information received from the video signal separation technique of PPI Scop radar device. The proposed technique consists in generating an image signal through the video signal separation and synthesis, symbol generation, the residual image signal generation process. This technology can greatly improve the operating convenience with improved ease of discrimination, screen readability for the operator in analyzing radar information. The first proposed method was constructed for high-speed FPGA-based information processing systems for high speed operation stability of the system. The second proposed method was implemented intelligent algorithms and a software algorithm function curve associated resources. This was required to meet the constraints on the radar information, analysis system. Existing radar systems have not the frame data analysis unit image. However, this study was designed to image data stored in the frame-by-frame analysis of radar images with express information MPEG4 video. Key research content is to highlight the key observations expresses the target, the object-specific monitoring information to the positive image processing algorithm and the function curve delays. For high-definition video, high-speed to implement data analysis and expressing a variety of information was applied to the ARM Processor Support in Pro ASIC3.
In this study, we used multi-channels ceramic membrane having larger permeate volume per unit time rather than tubular membrane. The hybrid process for advanced drinking water treatment was composed of granular activated carbons (GAC) packing between module inside and outside of multi-channels microfiltration membrane. Instead of natural organic matters (NOM) and fine inorganic particles in natural water source, modified solution was prepared with humic acid and kaolin. Kaolin concentration was fixed at 30mg/L and humic acid was changed as $2{\sim}10\;mg/L$ to inspect effect of organic matters. As a result, both resistance of membrane fouling ($R_f$) and permeate flux (J) were highly influenced by concentration of humic acid. Also, in result of water-back-flushing period (FT) effect, the shorter FT was the more effective to reduce membrane fouling and to enhance permeate flux because of frequent water-back-flushing. However, the optimal FT condition was 8 min when operating costs were considered. Then, the hybrid process using multi-channels ceramic membrane and GAC was applied to lake water treatment. As a result, average treatment efficiencies in our experiment using the hybrid process were 98.02% for turbidity, 75.64% for $UV_{254}$ absorbance, 7.18% for TDS and 84.73% for $COD_{Mn}$.

In this paper we propose the compact three-layer EBG structure. The unit cell of the proposed EBG structure is composed of a square patch in the upper layer and a square ring stripline in the lower layer that are connected to the ground plane through conducting vias. Reflection phase analysis method and tangential transmission method were considered to accomplish effective EM simulation and measurement. EM simulation results indicate that bandgap characteristics of the EBG structure using both methods is nearly identical. Parametric studies have been performed with the EM simulator to analyze the properties of the EBG structure by investigating the phase shift of the normally incident plane wave, and the transmission measurements between simple monopole antennas positioned near the EBGstructure have been done. The operating fiefuency bandgap of the proposed EBG structure is about 34 $\%$ lower than the conventional EBG structure with the same size. Measured results show bandgap from 0.930 GHz to 0.945 GHz.
This paper introduces the method to make management network about milking cow farm tasks. The object of this research was to design of biological measuring system and managing network system in a livestock farm. This auto-management system provides informations about individual cows' temperature, conductivity of milk and weight for efficient management of feeding, and milking works by a micro-processor and RS -485 type serial COM. ports. And measured bio-data which are basic informations for remote raising management are saved to user PC by serial communication between the PLC and user PC. Milking cow farm is divided into three working place to each measurement work and feed. The first working place is milking station which has two thermometers, a conduct meter and a scale set. The second working place is feeding station, and the third place is cattle cage. These are combined by network system and the PLC which is used to drive network and sub-modules. In Korea, the average air temperature has been elevated twice faster than the average global warming. And the climate warming is characterized by the smaller rise of air temperature in summer and the greater rise of air temperature in spring and winter. Therefore, the number of frost-free days to determine the cultivation ability of crops has increased by more than 15 days in 10 years according to climate warming. This climate warming trend has extended and is projected to extend not only the sweet potato growing season but also the sweet potato early cultivating area to higher altitude and latitude region. This study was carried out to evaluate the possibility of sweet potato double cropping in the southern island area of Korea by assessing the growth and yield performance of sweet potato cultivated at extremely-early and -late time. We had performed at Yokji Island Yokji Island($E128^{\circ}$ 18' $N34^{\circ}$ 36'), a representative specified complex area of sweet potato cultivation in southern Korea. As the test varieties, the major cultivars of the this region, Shinyulmi and early hypertrophic cultivars, Dahomi were used. The prior cropping were planted with PE film mulching on March 30 and April 10, and harvested after 110 days. So the succeeding cropping were planted without PE film mulching on July 25 and August 5 according to the harvesting time of the prior sweet potato and harvested after 120 days. As a control, it was harvested on September 15, 120 days after planted on May 15. Each experimental plot had an area of 12 square meters consisting of 4 beds, and was planted one at a time at intervals of 25cm. We had investigated growth characteristics - main vine length, node number, branch number, total vine yield, and tuberous root characteristics - tuberous root number, average weight, starch value, and etc. After harvesting, we analyzed the economic effects by examining the postharvest quantity, the input labor, the management cost, and the income. The total yield of marketable products in prior and succeeding cropping was 46~70% higher than that of control. The average unit price of sweet potato was 36% higher than the conventional culture, and the gross income increased by 98%, but the operating cost increased by 83%, and the farm income increased by 103%. There are considerations such as the difficulty of enlargement of cultivation area due to lack of labor in limited space and the need for watering measures due to spring drought. However, if the area of application for sweet potatoes double system is increased by 10%, it can be used as a new cropping system.
