  • In this paper, we discuss generalized q-poly-Euler numbers and polynomials. To do so, we define generalized q-poly-Euler polynomials with variable a and investigate its identities. We also represent generalized q-poly-Euler polynomials E(k)n,q(x; a) using Stirling numbers of the second kind. So we explore the relation between generalized q-poly-Euler polynomials and Stirling numbers of the second kind through it. At the end, we provide symmetric properties related to generalized q-poly-Euler polynomials using alternating power sum.

  • Comparison between two or more fuzzy numbers, along with their ranking, is an important subject discussed in scholarly articles. We endeavor in this paper to present a simple yet effective parametric method for comparing fuzzy numbers. This method offer significant advantages over similar methods, in comparing intersected fuzzy numbers, rendering the comparison between fuzzy numbers possible in different decision levels. In the process, each fuzzy number will be given a parametric value in terms of $\alpha$, which is dependent on the related $\alpha$-cuts. We have compared this method to Cheng's centroid point method [5] (The relation of calculating centroid point of a fuzzy number was corrected later on by Wang [12]). The proposed method can be utilized for all types of fuzzy numbers whether normal, abnormal or negative.

  • The Changhee polynomials and numbers are introduced in [6]. Some interesting identities and properties of those polynomials are derived from umbral calculus (see [6]). In this paper, we consider Witt-type formula for the n-th twisted Changhee numbers and polynomials and derive some new interesting identities and properties of those polynomials and numbers from the Witt-type formula which are related to special polynomials.

  • In this paper, a method to find the weighted possibilistic variance and moments about the mean value of fuzzy numbers via applying a difuzzification using minimizer of the weighted distance between two fuzzy numbers is introduced. In this way, we obtain the nearest weighted point with respect to a fuzzy number, this main result is a new and interesting alternative justification to define of weighted mean of a fuzzy number. Considering this point and the weighted distance quantity, we introduce the weighted possibilistic mean (WPM) value and the weighted possibilistic variance(WPV) of fuzzy numbers. This paper shows that WPM is the nearest weighted point to fuzzy number and the WPV of fuzzy number is preserved more properties of variance in probability theory so that it can simply introduce the possibilistic moments about the mean of fuzzy numbers without problem. The moments of fuzzy numbers play an important role to estimate of parameters, skewness, kurtosis in many of fuzzy times series models.

  • In this paper we define (p, q)-analogue of Euler zeta function. In order to define (p, q)-analogue of Euler zeta function, we introduce the (p, q)-analogue of Euler numbers and polynomials by generalizing the Euler numbers and polynomials, Carlitz's type q-Euler numbers and polynomials. We also give some interesting properties, explicit formulas, a connection with (p, q)-analogue of Euler numbers and polynomials. Finally, we investigate the zeros of the (p, q)-analogue of Euler polynomials by using computer.

  • The greatest integer that does not belong to a numerical semigroup S is called the Frobenius number of S. The Frobenius problem, which is also called the coin problem or the money changing problem, is a mathematical problem of finding the Frobenius number. In this paper, we introduce the Frobenius problem for two kinds of numerical semigroups generated by the Thabit numbers of the first kind, and the second kind base b, and by the Cunningham numbers. We provide detailed proofs for the Thabit numbers of the second kind base b and omit the proofs for the Thabit numbers of the first kind base b and Cunningham numbers.

  • A study has been conducted experimentally on the natural convection heat transfer characteristics of fin arrays on a horizontal flat plate in air. The effects of fin heights and Rayleigh numbers are mainly investigated. The experimental results are as follows; 1. The mean fin and mean total Nusselt numbers increase as dimensionless fin heights increase at 0.67.leg.H/s.leg.1.67. The mean plate Nusselt numbers increase in case of upward facing fins, but they decrease in case of downward facing fins. 2. The mean Nusselt numbers increase as Rayleigh numbers increase. 3. The mean fin surface Nusselt numbers has its maximum outside surface (Y$_{1}$) where there is no interference from each other fin. 4. The mean total Nusselt numbers in case of upward facing fins increase by 47% and 26%, respectively at H/S=0.67 and 1.67 than those in case of downward facing fins for Ra$_{s}$=6.50*10$^{3}$.>.

  • Numbers have been regarded as one-sided, and their exactly readings have been understood as the results of scalar implicature. This Neo-Gricean view on numbers becomes less persuasive due to theoretical and experimental counterarguments. In spite of growing evidence for theirtwo-sided readings, numbers are still one-sided in modal sentences. Moreover, the occurrence of a negative operator may worsen the acceptability of modal sentences with numbers. In the framework of Vector Space Semantics, I have derived two-sided readings of numbers with the simple notions of monotonicity of modals and scopal relations between modals and numbers. I have also argued that the awkwardness incurred by negation is the result of a split set of vectors for a number. The incoherent set of vectors is understood as the lack of an ideal behavior, which is against the deontic modality of the sentence.

  • In this paper we give formulae for sums of products of two Horadam type generalized Fibonacci numbers with the same recurrence equation and with possibly different initial conditions. Analogous improved alternating sums are also studied as well as various derived sums when terms are multiplied either by binomial coefficients or by members of the sequence of natural numbers. These formulae are related to the recent work of Belbachir and Bencherif, $\v{C}$erin and $\v{C}$erin and Gianella.
