  • Considerable progress has been made in organic photorefractive materials, since the first observation of photorefractive phenomena from organic materials. Within recent years, a large number of organic photorefractive materials, especially amorphous materials, have been developed based on polymeric composites, fully functional polymers and the multi-functional chromophore approach. Among these organic photorefractive materials, some of them containing carbazole components as a charge transporting function have been demonstrated to exhibit high performance photorefractive effects. The carbazole building blocks with charge transporting function or multifunctions play a very important role in photorefraction. In this paper, it confirmed that acceptor-substituted carbazoles show the multifunctionality both of photoconductivity and electro-optic(EO) activity and photorefractive materials newly can be developed with acceptor-substituted carbazoles.

  • In this paper we use measure theory to solve a wide range of second-order boundary value ordinary differential equations. First, we transform the problem to a first order system of ordinary differential equations(ODE's)and then define an optimization problem related to it. The new problem in modified into one consisting of the minimization of a linear functional over a set of Radon measures; the optimal measure is then approximated by a finite combination of atomic measures and the problem converted approximatly to a finite-dimensional linear programming problem. The solution to this problem is used to construct the approximate solution of the original problem. Finally we get the error functional E(we define in this paper) for the approximate solution of the ODE's problem.

  • The magnetic field distribution in saturable iron part of electromagnetic energy conversion divices is defined by the nonlinear quasi-Poisson enquation that is described the electromagnetic field characteristics and satisfied the natural boundary condition. The solution of this equation is obtained by minimizing an energy functional by means of trial function that defined in triangular subregion of two-dimensional field region. As a result, the accuracy of the machine design is increased by use of its solution. In this respect, this study is developed the basic theory to analyze the magnetic flux distribution in saturable iron part and air gap of induction motor that its secondary part is short circuit by the variational principle, the minimized theory of energy functional, the application of F.E.M., and treatment of computer. As theoritical data compared with the practics, the validity of the theory in this study is supported by experimental findings.

  • In this paper, we study the existence of solutions and $L^2$-regularity for fractional order retarded neutral functional differential equations in Hilbert spaces. We no longer require the compactness of structural operators to prove the existence of continuous solutions of the non-linear differential system, but instead we investigate the relation between the regularity of solutions of fractional order retarded neutral functional differential systems with unbounded principal operators and that of its corresponding linear system excluded by the nonlinear term. Finally, we give a simple example to which our main result can be applied.

  • In this paper, we give the notion of M(., .)-𝜂-proximal mapping for a nonconvex, proper, lower semicontinuous and subdifferentiable functional on Banach space and prove its existence and Lipschitz continuity. As an application, we introduce and investigate a new system of variational-like inclusions in Banach spaces. By means of M(., .)-𝜂-proximal mapping method, we give the existence of solution for the system of variational inclusions. Further, propose an iterative algorithm for finding the approximate solution of this class of variational inclusions. Furthermore, we discuss the convergence and stability analysis of the iterative algorithm. The results presented in this paper may be further expolited to solve some more important classes of problems in this direction.

  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a class of coupled systems of fuzzy delay differential equations involving fuzzy initial values and fuzzy source functions of triangular type. We assume that these initial values and source functions are triangular fuzzy functions and define solutions of the coupled systems as a triangular fuzzy function matrix consisting of real functional matrices. The method of triangular fuzzy function, fractional steps and fuzzy terms separation are used to solve the problems. Furthermore, we prove existence and uniqueness of solution for the considered systems, and then a solution algorithm is proposed. Finally, we present an example to illustrate our main results and give some work that can be done later.

  • The need for smoothness measures emerged by mathematicians working in the fields of approximation theory, functional analysis and real analysis. In the present paper, a new version of generalized modulus of smoothness is studied. The aim of defining that modulus, is to find the degree of best Lp functions approximation via trigonometric polynomials. We benefit from Jackson integrals to arrive to the essential approximation theorems.

  • A new variety of non-self generalized proximal contraction, called Hardy-Rogers α+F-proximal contraction, is shown in this work. Also, with an example, we prove that such contractions satisfying some conditions must have a unique best proximity point. For some particular values of the constants, that we have used to generalize the proximal contraction, we conclude different α+F-proximal contraction results of the types Ćirić, Chatterjea, Reich, Kannan, and Banach with proof, that all such type of contractions must have unique best proximity point. We also apply our result to solve a functional equation.

  • In this paper, we propose a modified Halpern's iterative scheme developed from a sequence of a new class of enriched nonspreading mappings and an enriched nonexpansive mapping in the setup of a real Hilbert space. Moreover, we prove strong convergence theorem of the proposed method under mild conditions on the control parameters. Also, we obtain some basic properties of our new class of enriched nonspreading mappings.

  • In this paper, we study the viscoelastic Kirchhoff type equation with a nonlinear source for each independent kernels h and g with respect to Volterra terms. Under the smallness condition with respect to Kirchhoff coefficient and the relaxation function and other assumptions, we prove the uniform decay rate of the Kirchhoff type energy.
