The purpose of this study is to introduce the NHK"NEWS WEB EASY"online site to intermediate level learners of Japanese language, and to teach effective methods of Blended Learning through the lesson planning method using "NEWS WEB EASY" Suggesting. First, this paper helped students cultivate various vocabulary learning ability through Blended Learning using "NEWS WEB EAS Y", Second, helped them learn about Japanese culture and Japan through various articles, Third, helped them naturally perform listening training through listening files, Fourth, helped them practice reading Kanji and improve vocabulary skills by distributing the files without Furigana to them for search, and Fifth, showed them how to improve speaking ability by reading practice through learning using "NEWS WEB EASY". We could learn the fact that the study helped students a lot understand Japan and improve their Japanese ability by learning news articles that they could not come across due to prejudice through learning using "NEWS WEB EASY".

This study explored how Korean immigrants education, length of stay and English fluency affect their political socialization, mediated through traditional news media and the news Web use. Political socialization included political knowledge, interest, and participation. The media usage patterns included U.S. news media, U.S. news Web, Korean news Web, and Korean news Media use by Korean immigrants in the United State. This study found as follows. First, education, length of stay, and English fluency indirectly increased political socialization(political knowledge, interest, and participation) through their relationship with U.S. news media use. Second, U.S. news Web played a potentially important role in Korean immigrants' political socialization by increasing their political interest. Third, Korean news media partly contributed to Korean immigrants' political socialization by increasing their political interest. Fourth, Korean news Web use did not contribute to Korean immigrants' political socialization in terms of political knowledge, interest, and participation at all. In conclusion, this study found that traditional news media's role was more important than news Web's one in the process of immigrants' political socialization to the host society.

Based on the secondary data of the 2018 news media audience conducted by the Korean Press Foundation, this study examines how the credibility of news on web portals and from news media outlets affects the types of web portal usage. The web portal usage was categorized into the two types: paying attention to news edited by the web portals and paying attention to news media outlets. These were named "portal site centered" and "news media outlet centered," respectively. This study found that the credibility of news from the web portals showed positive relationships with both portal site centered and news media outlet centered. The credibility of news from news media outlets had statistically significant relationships with the two types of web portal usage, but it differed depending on the audiences' preferences toward news media outlets. In other words, the credibility of news from news media outlets that are usually preferred or frequently used showed a positive relationship with the portal site centered, but has a negative relationship with the news media outlet centered. On the other hand, the credibility of news from news media outlets that are not preferred or not frequently used had a negative relationship with the portal site centered, but had a positive relationship with the news media outlet centered.

In the stock market, the investors rely on stock information to trade. Good information may stimulate buying, raising the stock prices and the bad information may result in selling, decreasing the stock prices. In terms of the relationship between information and stock prices, stock prices can be viewed as reaction of investors to all the information flowing into the market. The significant increase of web stock news volume is often associated with the significant changes of stock prices. When the web stock news volume for a firm increases significantly, the stock price movement is often oscillatory. This paper attempts to investigate the relationship between volumes of information from Korean web IT and stock prices in Korean stock market. This research shows that when the web stock news volume increases significantly, volatility, trading volumes and rate of returns are increase too. The results of the study provide us with the new clues to the microstructure of the stock market from the perspective of the web news.

The news pages provided through the web contain unnecessary information. This causes low performance and inefficiency of the news processing system. In this study, news content extraction methods, which are based on sentence identification and block-level tags news web pages, was suggested. To obtain optimal performance, combinations of these methods were applied. The results showed good performance when using an extraction method which applied the sentence identification and eliminated hyperlink text from web pages. Moreover, this method showed better results when combined with the extraction method which used block-level. Extraction methods, which used sentence identification, were effective for raising the extraction recall ratio.

To develop the broadcasting application for DMB, the programmers have to aggregate the content. In this case of content such as news, it would be hard to provide successively updated content. This paper introduces a creation system which can automatically create the news application for data broadcasting on DMB based on the web news content updated immediately. The designed creation system aggregates the news content using RSS based XML and produces the news application by transcoding the web content which can be applied on DMB.

In this paper we investigate a trend analysis service using Semantic Web technology in a news domain. The trend analysis service can provide more intelligent answers rather than the answer given In current news search engines since it can analyze the passage of time and the relation among news. In order to provide the trend analysis service, the capability of temporal reasoning is required, but the Semantic Web language such as OWL does not support the reasoning capability. Therefore, we propose a language TL-OWL(Temporal Web Ontology Language) extending OWL with the temporal reasoning.

Recently smart device(such as smart phone and tablet PC) become a role as an information gateway, using of the web news by multiple users from the web portal has been more important things. However, the quantity of creating web news on the web makes hard to catch the information which the user wants and confuse the users cause of the similar and repeated contents. In this paper, we propose the news recommend system using the document summarization based on KoBART which gives the selected news to users from the candidate news on the news portal. As a result, our proposed system shows higher performance and recommending the news efficiently by pre-training and fine-tuning the KoBART using collected news data.

Today a lot of functional areas of a firm are operated on the Web. Online shopping malls analyze web log recording customers' activities on the web to connect them to business outcomes. Not only commercial websites, but online news sites also need to collect and analyze web logs to understand their news readers' interest. However, little research has been performed yet. In this research we mined the web access log of an online news website and conduct Market Basket Analysis to uncover the association rules among the categories of news articles. The research is composed of two stages: 1) Identifying the individual session of a visitor; 2) Mining association rule from news articles read by each session. We gather 7-day access logs two times. The results of log mining and meanings of association rules are suggested with managerial implications in conclusion section.

A corporate identity is an expression of a company's personality and philosophy. From Trademarks to Letterheads, most of companies are eager to show up themselves to the audience. Nowadays the Web has quid(Iy emerged as the most influential communications media for the public. In aspects of this situation, traditional corporate identity program has to change to accord with the new media. Especially print media news has broaden their line to the Web, but most of them are lacking in the express their Identity, Therefore, it is an urgent problem to find their Identity on the Web site. In this paper, I am going to analyze the new aspects of identity in the news site on the web.
