Counterproductive work behaviors are behaviors by employees intended to harm their organization or organization members. Human is the being has a desire and behaviors. To understand behaviors of an individual, it is important to understand the personality which determines a difference between individuals. Narcissists has psychological traits to be likely to experience negative emotions, such as frustration, hostility or anger, and this psychological traits of narcissists are more likely to induce an aggression. In this view, the purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between counterproductive work behaviors and narcissistic personality characteristics and to explore psychological dynamics about how narcissistic personality characteristics had an effect on counterproductive work behaviors. As a result, facts known were as follows. First, narcissists has strong desires to maintain a sense of superiority over others and defend their egos against unpleasant evaluation information, even if the information is factual and accurate. Second, narcissists are hyper-sensitive to negative information and are more likely to encounter information or situations that challenge their positive self-appraisals by this view. Third, in response to these challenges, or ego threats, these individuals are more likely to experience negative emotions, such as anger, frustration, or hostility. Forth, this negative emotions lead to aggression and as a result, this is more likely to induce counterproductive work behaviors such as theft, sabotage, interpersonal aggression, work slowdowns, wasting time and materials, and spreading rumors. Thus, narcissism is another individual difference variable that may be an important factor in determining counterproductive work behaviors, particularly under conditions perceived to be difficult or stressful.
Objectives : This study examined the relationship of parent-related negative life events with mental health and delinquent behaviors among Korean adolescents. Methods : A total of 2,976 high school first-grade pupils (1,498 boys & 1,478 girls) taking part in the third wave of Korean Youth Panel Survey completed a self-administered questionnaire regarding parent-related life events, depressive feelings, suicidal ideation, delinquent behaviors, demographic characteristics, parental socioeconomic status, social support, and social capital. Data analyses were conducted using multivariate logistic regression. Results : After adjusting for all covariates, the more parent-related negative life events adolescents experienced throughout their whole life, the more likely adolescent were to have mental and behavioral problems. A significant dose-response relationship between them was more clearly observed in girls than in boys. The experience of parentrelated negative events during childhood was significantly associated with suicidal ideation and delinquent behaviors for boys, and with depressive feelings for girls during adolescence. Indeed, parental social support, social capital, and having a close friend with delinquent behaviors, especially for girls, partially mediated the relationship between parent-related negative life events and both outcomes. Conclusions : The study showed a clear dose-response relationship of frequency of parent-related negative life events with poor mental and behavioral health for both genders. The residual effect of being exposed to parent-related events during childhood on mental health and delinquent behaviors during adolescence still remained.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of preschoolers' negative emotionality on their peer play behaviors, focusing on the mediation of behavioral problems. Methods: The study sample included 287 preschoolers aged 3 to 5 attending child care centers located in Seoul, Korea. The instruments used in this study were the Child Behavior Questionnaires (CBQ), Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), and Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale (PIPPS). Results: The main results of this study are as follows: First, boys and girls' negative emotionality exerted positive effects on their behavioral problems. Second, boys and girls' negative emotionality had a positive influence on their play interaction, play disruption, and play disconnection. Further, the effect of boys' negative emotionality on their play disruption and play disconnection was totally mediated by their behavioral problems, and girls' negative emotionality on their play interaction and play disconnection was totally mediated by their behavioral problems. Conclusion/Implications: These findings provide preliminary evidence that the relationships between preschoolers' negative emotionality and peer play behaviors may be mediated by their behavioral problems.

In Vietnam, the airline service sector plays an important economic role. However, it is a complicated industry that is open to failures. Negative emotions are an essential variable for the airline service industry because they can trigger a variety of coping behaviors that affect consumer loyalty as well as the image and reputation of the airline service providers. However, negative emotions and the accompanying coping behaviors are often investigated partially or as separate issues, thus leading to an incomplete understanding. This study is conducted to fill this gap by proposing and testing the causal relationship between negative emotions (anger, frustration, regret) and coping behaviors (complaint, negative word-of-mouth (WOM), and switching intention) in the context of the airline industry. Eight research hypotheses are tested. Using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) on a sample of 587 passengers in Vietnam, the empirical results show that anger and frustration influence complaints, negative WOM, and switching intention, while regret leads to switching intention and negative WOM. Thus, the research has important academic and practical implications. The empirical outcome could be of major importance for airline companies in planning to provide new services and achieve high performance in the long run.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of toddler's emotionality and mother's reaction to their child's negative emotions of social-emotional behaviors of toddlers. The subjects were 141 mothers and toddlers ranging in age from 18 to 36 months. Instruments used in this study were: 1) Early Childhood Behavior Questionnaire(ECBQ)(Rothbart, 1994), 2) Coping with Toddlers' Negative Emotions Scale(CTNES)(Eisenberg et al., 1996), and 3)Brief Infant Toddler Social and Emotional Assesment(BITSEA)(Carter et al., 2006). Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that toddler's emotionality and the mother's negative reaction to their child's negative emotions were related to the social-emotional behaviors of toddler. Also, mother's reaction to their child's negative emotions have mediation effects between toddler's emotionality and social-emotional behaviors. Specifically, toddler's emotionality has a partial mediating effect on social-emotional behaviors through mother's supportive reaction to their child's negative emotions. Additionally it was also determined that the toddler's emotionality has a complete mediating effect on the relationship between mother's unsupportive reaction to their child's negative emotions and the social-emotional behaviors of toddler. Theses results support the notion that mother's character as well as child's personality at birth are critical predictors which could impact social-emotional behaviors of toddler.

The relationship between compliance with behaviors recommended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and media exposure, negative emotions, and risk perception was examined using regression analyses of data from KAMOS, a nationally representative survey of South Korean adults. The strongest predictor of preventive behaviors in general was negative emotions, which had the largest βh (.22) among the independent variables considered. The eight negative emotions, identified using factor analysis of a series of 11 emotions, were anger, annoyance, fear, sadness, anxiety, insomnia, helplessness, and stress. Negative emotions themselves were influenced most strongly by the respondent's anxiety over social safety (βe=.286), followed by prediction of COVID-10 spread (β=.121, p<.001) and perceived risk of COVID-19 infection (β=.70, p=.023). Females (β=-.134) and those who felt less healthy (βo=-.097) experienced more negative emotions. Media exposure and increased media exposure both have significant relationships with negative emotions and both a direct and indirect impact on the adoption of preventive measures. Women, older people, and healthier people perceived greater risks and engaged in more preventive behaviors than their counterparts.

SNS is a social networking service that helps people to have a two-way communication, manage their personal relationships and share information. The domestic and international SNS markets have attained a steady growth, and their growth is being more accelerated recently. Under these circumstances, immature students are more likely to show negative cyber behavior. This study attempted to analyze the relationship between the use of SNS, motives of SNS use, the use of active SNS functions, SNS-dependency and views in SNS and negative SNS behaviors among elementary and middle school students. For this, negative cycber behaviors are classified into four stages depending on the severity, for each of which distribution of factors is investigated and the combination of factors to determine each stage is obtained through association rule analysis. As a result, it is found that 85% of the students rarely show negative cyber behaviors, stealing personal information and contacting with strangers are the most frequent negative behaviors, and students with a great dependency on SNS are highly probable to show negative behaviors.
This study examined the effects of children's negative emotionality, emotional regulation, and maternal parenting behaviors on their relational and overt aggression. The participants were 355 children(174 boys, 181 girls; aged 4-5 years old) and their mothers. The teachers completed rating scales to measure the children's aggression and emotion regulation. The children's negative emotionality and maternal parenting behaviors were assessed by a mother reported questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, correlations, and hierarchical multiple regressions. Results showed that Children's negative emotionality was positively related to their relational and overt aggression. Children's emotional regulation had a negative relation to their relational and overt aggression. Mother's limit-setting and rejection-neglect was significantly related to children's relational aggression, whereas mother's warmth-encouragement and rejection-neglect was negatively related to children's overt aggression. Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the interaction of children's negative emotionality and mother's overprotection-permission predicted children's overt aggression. Children's negative emotionality, whose mothers demonstrated middle and high level of overprotection-permission, was associated significantly with overt aggression. In addition, the association between mother's parenting behaviors and children's aggressions were mediated by their emotion regulation. The findings point to similarities and differences between relational and overt aggression in relation to children's negative emotionality, emotional regulation and maternal parenting behaviors.
This study investigated the relationship of daily life activity experiences to violent behaviors and their moderating effects on the relationship between stress and violent behaviors in early adolescence. A sample of 134 second year middle school students carried electronic watches for one week and provided reports on their objective activity situation and subjective states when signalled at random times. Stress was positively correlated with violent behaviors. Daily activity experiences were correlated with violent behaviors and moderated the relationship between stress and violent behaviors. More time spent in socializing and passive leisure, and negative emotional states during schoolwork and active leisure were correlated with higher violent behaviors. Lower motivational states during schoolwork were correlated with higher violent behaviors. Lower cognition of importance and attention states during schoolwork and higher cognition of importance and attention states during active leisure and maintenance activities were correlated with higher violent behaviors. Finally, the moderating effects of negative emotion during active leisure, motivation and attention states during schoolwork on the relationship of stress with violent behaviors were found among girls only.
This study examined effects of children's emotionality, interpersonal problem solving strategies, and maternal behaviors during mother-child interaction on children's social competence as rated by teachers. Data were analyzed separately for boys and girls. A total of 102 children(60 boys, 42 girls; aged 5-6) and their mothers were studied. Children's positive and negative emotionality were related to their social competence. Positive solving strategies were positively related to boy's social competence; negative solving strategies had negative to both boy's and girl's social competence. Mother's negative affect related negatively to boy's social competence and mother's sensitivity/guidance related positively to girl's social competence. When children's emotionality and interpersonal problem solving strategies were controlled, maternal behaviors during mother-child interaction did not contribute to children's social competence.
